Leave the party-boat behind and set sail on a serene half-day sunset cruise on a semi-private, 50-foot (15-meter) boat. Definitely worth it. Small group and very peaceful. We went quite a long way along the coast (avoiding storms) and went snorkeling and then later circled around a group of dolphins. The staff was excellent and were super friendly and accommodating. Also the office staff was excellent and fast to respond to questions. 100% happy. My favorite part was just seeing the coastline, cliffs, and forests from a different perspective.

Best thing we did in Costa Rica captain and crew were awesome! Captain went out of the way to follow group of dolphins really made it special! Sunset was so beautiful!

This was a dream experience. My friend and I wanted to experience a boat while in Costa Rica. We originally had a Catamaran booked, but we cancelled it because it was a larger one with like 20-30 people. We secured this experience and we are SO happy we did. Bismarck, Jonathan and Jeffree were such a team. We had max 13 people on our sail boat. Mix of couples and families and it was a delightful group. I felt like a millionaire chartering my own sailing yacht. There may have been some Below Deck quotes being thrown around by us. The mates were super attentive with drink refills, (highly suggest the rum punch) we had pineapple to snack on, cowboy caviar with patacones chips, and chicken tacos. We sailed to an area that was just gorgeous. Everyone went snorkeling or swam for 1.5 hours. As we sailed back to the marina we watched the most beautiful sunset. This is definitely one of the best activities to end your Costa Rican trip with. Would 100% highly suggest booking this experience.

We had an absolutely incredible time on this trip. Bismarck, our captain was so good. Jonathan and Gerald were on the boat as well and they were all very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious and the service was great. This was so much better than being on one of the larger catamarans. They are a true sailing crew. Gerald did a wonderful job with the snorkeling. The equipment was clean and well organized. The sunset was beautiful and the music playlist was perfect.

Amazing crew (Jeffrey, Johnathan and Christopher). They were very attentive to our beverage refills. Made amazing tacos for lunch with cowboy caviar. Took us to see dolphins, whales and flying stingray.

This guys were absolutely amazing! They gave better service than most 5 star restaurants and the food tasted amazing! The mates also kept our cocktails full at all times. The boat is large and very comfortable for 13 people. I’ve been on many excursions over the years and this by far was the best experience of them all! Saw whales and manta rays.

We had a beautiful day on the water with the crew (Captain Jeffery and mates Gerald and Christopher). The crew was amazing in every way - attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and perfect hosts. The food was wonderful as were the adult beverages. The perfect ending was an amazing sunset with beautiful shades of yellows, pinks and oranges.

An amazing way to spend an afternoon in Costa Rica. We sailed with Jeffrey and his crew and they were fantastic, making sure we were safe, comfortable, and entertained. The snacks and chicken tacos were delicious and I highly recommend the Serendipity Sunset beverage. Snorkelling was fun, and the sunset was breathtaking. Highly recommend this small-group activity.

I'm afraid the experience was tainted by the misinformation recieved by the booking agent. The group was promised max 12 passengers, and yet 13 were booked, starting the charter with dissatisfaction for many, and littke space. The crew was friendly, and the sunset beautiful, but a few wished we had chosen another experience more acurately described, which might allow individual attention like trolling which was promised. When I wrote the company about this misinformation their reply was we were mistaken and to send them a screenshot - implying what!? Not very nice or good customer service I'm afraid. Pitty. The only negative experience in Playa Flamingo where everyone else was really lovely.

Hi,
It's important that we correct this "agent" if they are selling a tour that does not exist, that is why I asked you for a screenshot. For the last 5 years we have called our non-private tours the "Lucky 13" because we take about 13 people and because we are trying to be witty with our wording. The last thing we want to do is "bait and switch" as you accused me of doing in your text message. So, I want to correct this misinformation wherever you may have seen it.
To anybody reading this and have not yet booked with us, please know that we take 13'ish guests on these tours. We try to keep them small and intimate, as opposed to the 20, 30 and sometimes 40 people that are on catamarans. Because these groups are not private, we always ask if everyone is ok fishing. If even one person is not, we do not fish. So, that is why there was no fishing on your trip. You may have enjoyed it, but it could have totally ruined the trip for somebody who is sensitive to watching fish die. Again, we try to not oversell or over promises, we prefer for our guests to be pleasantly surprised. If some "agent" promised you something different, we need to correct that.

This was an amazing sail! Our captain, Bismark was very helpful and informative. We enjoyed snorkeling, sailing, and the sunset was nice. Chicken tacos were very yummy. We would definitely recommend.

Our whole group of 5 felt this was a major highlight of our trip! There was a great balance of snorkeling, sight seeing, and swimming. The entire crew were extremely attentive. Awesome cocktails, food, and drinks!!

Everything was lovely - especially the crew and the journey. It was a relaxing sail to a beautiful cove for snorkeling. The crew made sure we were comfortable and well hydrated. The most exciting part was when Captain Jeffree came to our rescue during the trip, diving over 10 ft to retrieve my phone from the ocean floor! We would go again on this tour in a heartbeat.

A definite highlight of our vacation! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Food and drinks were great! Saw so many stingrays and an absolutely beautiful sunset. I highly recommend this excursion. Also, if you have time before or after, go to Scooters for great food and drinks!

The crew and captain (i forgot what he called himself) were really amazing. The drinks were good and so was the food! Just don’t forget your anti-nausea meds if you tend to get motion sickness.

Le Bateau qui nous accueille est un monocoque, il faut donc aimer la voile. Ce jour là nous avons eu la chance d’avoir du vent et ce fut une vraie navigation comme je les aime. Pas de brouillard à Bord ou d’excès mais ne convie habilité fort sympathique. L’équipage est aux petits soins à peine parti que nous voilà déjà vers à la main. Je l’ai remercie tous. Vivement pour cet excellent moment, naviguer, c’est un bonheur sans nom !
