We had a great tour! The driver was friendly and the van had nice, cool AC. We did a short nature walk to swim in a waterfall, stopped for breakfast and lunch, and hiked to another waterfall. The highlight of the trip was seeing sloths and toucans, including a mom sloth with her newborn baby on her chest. My advice is to bring a poncho or rain jacket since the weather changes quickly. Highly recommend this tour!

This excursion is well worth the time. We saw everything we wanted to see, sloths, frogs, snakes, bats, monkeys and more. Our tour guide and driver was over the top knowledgeable and educated us with everything there is to know about Costa Rica and the places we visited. I can't remember their names, sadly, because those two deserve mentioning!

Trip was canceled due to a lack of people for the tour. They offered an accommodated tour that I had already experienced without the hike which was the main event for me. I was disappointed as I was unable to find another trip like it so last minute.

The tour was very good. There is a lot of walking and a LOT of time in the van. It was actually almost 13 hours from the time we left until we returned. We were told there would be a breakfast stop. There was no breakfast stop.(Apparently the company forgot to inform the guide). You can't bring plastic bottles to the waterfall hike and you need water for that hike. Bring a refillable water bottle. The sights were beautiful and Alan was a very kind knowledgeable guide.

This is a terrific tour. It has a mix of adventure with a some scenic easier walks. The Waterfalls are the major highlight. Carlos our driver and guide was knowledgeable about all the cool wildlife we saw. He took amazing pictures of our family and helped capture the memories for our trip.

Booked this tour way in advance of our vacation, the day before we were supposed to go, we were told there weren’t enough participants and then told there was too much rain to do a portion of the hike. Had to scramble and find another tour guide to do the exact same tour. Was told the hike was not a problem, the weather was beautiful.

We had the absolute best full-day adventure with our guide Rudy and driver Orlando on this Rio Celeste/Sloth Farm tour. It was honestly one of the biggest highlights of our Costa Rica trip. It was my family and I’s first time in Costa Rica, and this tour was the perfect way to experience it. The tour was perfectly balanced, with enough hiking to feel adventurous but not overwhelming, mixed with stunning scenery and so many chances to experience wildlife up close. We started with a beautiful waterfall and lake hike that was refreshing and such a dreamy introduction to the rainforest. Everything was so lush and vibrant. It immediately felt like we were fully immersed in Costa Rica.
Later we did a longer rainforest trek to another waterfall, and despite the nonstop rainfall, we made the most of it. The rainforest felt alive. It felt natural, fun, and fascinating.
After the hikes, we visited a nature reserve where we got to see sloths, monkeys, turkeys, toucans and other exotic birds up close. It was truly unforgettable.
Overall, Rudy’s knowledge and enthusiasm made those encounters even more meaningful. Orlando was fantastic all day, driving smoothly and safely and always being right where we needed him.
Everything was seamless from start to finish, including comfortable transportation, good food, plenty of water, and thoughtful pacing so everyone in our group felt included and comfortable.
Since it was our first time visiting Costa Rica, we are so glad we chose this tour. We highly recommend you try it, especially if you are lucky enough to have Rudy and Orlando guiding you. It made our first experience in Costa Rica incredibly special!

Rudy was such a great guide! My friends and I really truly enjoyed the whole day. The pace and schedule were very thoughtful and Rudy made sure we got our fill of the stops, graciously helping us out with photos too. At the sanctuary our guide was awesome and helped us encounter so much wildlife and of course the sloths were INCREDIBLE. My friends and I will never forget all the animals we saw and the relaxing waterfall swim we took after. Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get the most out of their introduction to inland Costa Rica. It really solidified Costa Rica as a must visit location for us.

Pablo was the best tour guide. He was funny and very knowledgeable about the plants and animals. We got to see a 6 month old baby sloth 2 feet in front of us in its natural habitat, a tree frog up close, a few snakes, and monkeys. This was a memorable experience and I'm so grateful we were able to make this trip. Make sure you book with Pablo.

This was a wonderful tour to see a lot in one day - waterfalls, walking through the national park, all sorts of animals - sloths, snakes, toucans, monkeys. We stopped every hour or hour and a half - tour was well planned with stops to interrupt the long drive for lunch, pick up rain ponchos, souvenirs, etc. Our guide Pablo was very friendly and knowledgeable! One note - the itinerary was quite a bit longer than what Viator had listed so be sure to double check and be prepared to be flexible if the day ends up being longer.

Because the animals are in their natural habitat, we cannot remove them from there. However, this rarely happens because visitors always manage to observe a large amount of wildlife. Wow! We had the best time with Michael!
The variety of activities, beautiful spots, and seeing all the wildlife was truly awesome. My favorite was the Rio Celeste waterfall and the rainforest hike to get there. Moderate short amount of hiking but in the rainforest and getting to see all the wildlife there was incredible. Afterwards, at the spring- we saw frogs, leaf cutter ants, snakes, toucans, sloths! We would not have had the same experience without our guides pointing things out and taking pictures for us! The lunch provided was also really good, I had the tilapia.
A must do experience here!

Sometimes when the weather is too wet the itinerary has to be changed for safety reasons, but that was not a problem. Gino knew the best places to find toucans, sloths and monkeys. I have attached a few pictures that I took. We then went on to the Sloth Farm and leaned how to make coffee and hot chocolate, followed by a great lunch. Gino then took a slight detour to see Flamingo Beach before we returned to Tamarindo. A great tour, thanks Gino !

Michael was incredible! He was very knowledgeable about Costa Rica and all the animals. The driver was safe and great as well. Loved the hike, waterfalls and lunch was amazing! So wonderful to see Al the animals!
