Get outside from the city

You are going to have a tour full of Scotland's proud history with it's tales and rich legacy. I recommend this day trip, so you see what is there outside the city! We're Finnish and my 15 and 17 year old daughters understood the guide - I wouldn't participate without good English skills. Main things on this trip are the history, the astonishing Highlands and Loch Ness and the scenery from the buss. Others stops are short, but you don't need packed lunch.

Nice, friendly, helpful staff

My niece and I arrived too late to join the workshop (our flight was delayed 6 hours and we ended up being 30 minutes late for workshop). The ladies there were soo nice. One of them even took us to another location to pick out our purse style and gave us instructions and supplies needed to make it ourselves. It only took us about 20 minutes to put it together. I highly recommend this place

Great tour

First part of tour takes you through some interesting areas of Edinburgh above ground. Once you arrive at the vault there is quite a tall step to negotiate but I managed without too much trouble despite severe arthritis so certainly doable. Darren was a great guide, very entertaining and informative. Very interesting to see some of Edinburgh's underbelly and hear of it's past.

Perfection!

Me and my mom visited Edinburgh for her birthday and we both really wanted to go to see the castle. We immediately loved our guide Max when he called our group “team handsome” and my mom said to me “yes! We got the good one!” Absolutely incredible tour and Max was amazing, funny and respectful to both us in the group and to the castle’s history. Definitely recommend!!

A Wonderful Tour of the Highlands

Very well-organized tour. Saw so much of the Scottish Highlands and countryside! The guide was excellent. The coach was very comfortable. A long day, but plenty of rest stops. No Loch Ness Monster seen this day, but the boat cruise on Loch Ness was really nice. Beautiful views. Note: Go for the fish and chips right where the bus lets off in Loch Ness. Was excellent.

Great tour. Worth the price

First off, my flight got delayed and they were able to accommodate me by pushing out our reservation by 24 hours without charge or issues. We very much appreciated their flexibility. Our tour guide Rory was wonderful. Super knowledgeable and funny. The 2 hour tour flew by and we covered so much literally and figuratively. We got a fantastic overview of Edinburgh and Scottish history and were able to ask Rory tons of questions and for advice on where to go and what else to see. You won’t be disappointed. Wonderful to go to St...

Wonderful to go to St Andrews. We are golfers and were thrilled to go to St Andrews. It is a quaint little town on the east coast of Scotland. We also enjoyed the museum of golfing and playing on the putting green. I was not impressed with the other parts of the trip like. The town of Falkland and Fife but. They were minor stops. Our driver Fitz was a good driver and guide.

Excellent tour with Highland Experiences! The day was long, but they made every effort to make you comfortable on the tour bus and with stops along the way. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Scottish history and obviously proud of his Scottish identity - wonderful to listen to his stories and experiences. The highlight was Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle - bucket list place for us! We could easily have spent more time there. The scenery throughout the day was magnificent and a perfect way to see the Highlands if you are limited on time in Scotland.

Great tour

The trip was wonderful. Holly was a great driver and guide. She was funny and had a lot of info and history to share as we visited each location. We were able to meet some heilan coo’s, see the Jacobite train passing, and more. The only part that sucked was at the stops the lines were very long for breakfast/coffee, but if you can skip that, lunch is the next stop. So I would have spent more time with the cows had I known better. The long drive on the bus did not feel very long due to the interactive driver.

Great tour through the castle. Ingas was a great guide, and I learned a lot. He shared stories and pictures which brought the history to life. It's easy to walk past the buildings without a full understanding, so it is definitely recommended to have a tour to understand the history from a local.
