Take me home to Lallybroch
What a great way to see the series you love in a personal way. Great stops and the best guide ever leading the way. I can’t imagine a better tour than the one Sean provided. He was made for this!! And thankfully, we brought the sunshine from Texas so we didn’t have to knock off a star for rain.

Fun tour of the Scottish Borders
Our driver, Russell, was knowledgeable and entertaining. The visit to Rosslyn Chapel filled a wish list item and the rest of the tour was the cherry on the sundae. Melrose is a quaint village and the ruins of the Abbey are most impressive. We absolutely enjoyed this tour!

Must do!
We were in Edinburgh for about a week and did all of the touristy things the city has to offer. We set aside a full day for The Midlands, Highlands, Glencoe and Loch Ness Tour with Stewart Tours. Met about 730 am and returned about 12 hours later to the same pick up spot. Our driver and guide was Phil. He was an outstanding orator, DJ, historian, comedian and local knowledge (food, drink, toilets, whisky ice cream) connoisseur. He told us a story and usually had some music to accommodate the legend. The long day really flies by traveling from sight to sight. Plenty of bathroom breaks, places to eat and drink and stretch your legs. We did take (at an extra cost of about $22L pp) the Loch Ness Boat Tour. (@ 1 hr). The large windows allow for remarkable, unforgettable views. Enjoy!

A wonderful day
A long day but interrupted by breaks in the right moment of time. The bus was quite cosy with 16 passengers and all the information given by the driver, Emma, was very interesting. If you dispose from knowledge about history you will even better understand

Not seeing something you are looking for?

Edinburgh is near centuries-old castles and abbeys, scenic lochs and valleys, and many more sites that make perfect Edinburgh day trips. Get out to the Highlands to experience windswept landscapes and moody skies, and see if you can find the Loch Ness monster. Take a visit to neighboring coastal fishing villages and hear all about their history. Try some scotch on tasting tours, and get involved in some Scottish storytelling, too. There are plenty of preplanned Edinburgh day trips to keep you entertained.
