This excursion was FANTASTIC! The pick-up spot is super easy to access as it is right outside of the cruise port. The shuttle took us directly to the Country World park, and we had to wait for a little while we completed our waivers and they got the ATV's ready. The wait was fine though, as our daughters got to play with a kitty and we had a great conversation (in perfect English) with one of the staff members. From there we went out on the ATV's, with one daughter riding behind each my wife and I on the ATV's. Our guides were great, they didn't speak a ton of English but between them and our minimal Spanish we got by just fine. We did some great riding and had so much fun. They took us up a huge hill that overlooked the island and cruise ship we came in on, which was really cool. We only stopped at one souvenir shop, so we had a chance to use the restroom and grab some little things to remember the visit by. We rode some more down the river and back to the Adventure park, where we were able to spend some time by the pool. I do not recommend the zip line at the pool though, as it's about 15 ft high and both my daughter and I ended up in a lot of pain after landing hard! We purchased the photo package for $80 and gave our photographer an extra $10 for sending us some videos that he took as well. All-in-all this trip was great from beginning to end and we highly recommend this to anyone, especially families!

First time doing an ATV tour.
It was a great experience. The pickup service and tour guide was patient and engaging. Making sure everyone in the group had a fun time.

The Atv rides were fun, the buffet ($15) afterwards was really good. There was a photographer on the rides with us. However, she wants you to pay for the picures ($20 each) 1st, then she will email them to you later. That was a fast NO for us. *Note* the buffet is not included in the price of the Atv rides. You will stop at shops & they can be pushy for you to purchase items.

I can’t recommend this excursion enough! Our driver was EXCELLENT, smooth ride to the destination of the tour. The owner of the company explained everything to us to a T, what to expect what cost extra etc! Our ATV guide and photographer were amazing- great speed and combination of dirt, muddy, concrete and rocky roads. There’s also a stop at a local shop that is totally optional to you but we opted in and they were so lovely! They educated us on how their chocolate was made, allowed us to sample and gave us insight on the best purchases. Locally owned, too!! Then we got back and paid for our photos and headed into the garden of animals (also optional but we opted in to visit) and we got amazing photos with some of the birds/animals there! Amazing, excellent experience! Highly recommend!!

Atv was fun. They also have horseback riding and a zip line. Nice little park with a few animals that were cared for.

IT WAS FUN!!!! I apologize that I'm terrible with names but the host was amazing! He was a great conversationalist and immediately put me at ease with his laid back demeanor. This was my 1st time riding on ATV so I a bit apprehensive but that time quickly passed. The tour guides all spoke great English and were just fun to hang around. We explored plenty and didn't have any issues they couldn't resolve. On of the best stops on the tour was seeing how Mama Juana drink was made. 😉😋

The location was very nice and we enjoyed our ATV excursion. My daughter and I had a great time on the ATV's. The guides make sure everyone is together and okay during the ride. You will get wet and dirty but it's worth it. The only down side was I wasn't able to use my card to buy lunch or gifts because I forgot my ID, so make sure you have that.

I'm 65 years old and had an absolute blast. My husband and I each drove an ATV and it was the highlight of our cruise. The group was very small, the guides were very attentive, helpful, and fun! I got wet and a little dirty and loved every minute of it. Highly recommend!

This was so much fun! I liked that a lot of the trail was across a river bed so it wasn't super dusty. There was also a small bird sanctuary there where they let you hold the birds. I would definitely recommend.

Super fun ATV ride through the river bed with some water in the river which made the ride a bit of a challenge. The village stop at the halfway point was interesting with home rolled cigars, coffee and hot chocolate tasting, and cinnamon infuse wine. The downside is the river bed was a bit disgusting with trash and debris everywhere.

We had a good time on the ATV tour itself. They brought us to a very rustic souvenir spot with overpriced goods. When the tour was over, they did try to push us to prolong our stay at their pool and restaurant which we declined as we had commuted to 3 hours as advertised. Bring your own phone case and face protection against mud!

Before starting the tour, at the briefing, we aim to clearly explain the route and all stops included during the ATV tour. As part of the excursion, we offer the opportunity to taste fresh chocolate, coffee, and cigars, with an option to purchase them afterwards. We sincerely apologize if that caused any sense of pressure or obligation to you, but we can assure you this was not our intention.
Regarding the pool, it is part of the excursion, as well as the tropical garden. This is advertised prior to booking. If some participants choose to skip this portion, we do our best to accommodate by providing an alternative option, such as our restaurant, where you can wait for the rest of the group to finish.

Had a great time. I would absolutely rate the experience 5 stars, EXCEPT, they say it’s a 3 hour ride when it’s actually one hour. Would have liked to open the machines up a bit and went faster, but I guess they are used to people that don’t know how to ride. It was a beautiful ride down a river bank, lots of water and mud thanks to the recent rain, which made it tons of fun.

We’d like to clarify a detail regarding the duration of the experience. Our description under the "What to Expect" section mentions that the actual ATV driving time is approximately 1.5 hours. The total excursion, including transportation, briefings, and the welcoming experience, comes to around 3 hours. This is outlined to ensure our guests have clear information prior to booking.
Additionally, we pride ourselves on offering a truly off-road adventure, unlike many of our competitors who may drive on asphalted roads only. Our route takes you through rocky and dirt roads, muddy paths, uneven terrain, riverbeds, and more, providing an authentic and thrilling off-road experience.
These terrains are not designed for high speeds or "opening up the machines," as you mentioned. Safety is always our top priority, and we maintain speeds that are safe for all participants, whether they are experienced ATV riders or trying it for the first time.
We regret if there was any misunderstanding about the duration or nature of the ride. We’d also kindly ask you to reconsider your review, as your enjoyment of the ride and overall experience mean a lot to us!

Me and my sister traveled together for her birthday and this Atv experience was the best we have ever had. This is not our first time using Atv’s. These guys knew what they were doing and they weren’t treating us like babies. We were safe and would do it again and it is totally worth the money and time . Thank you so much

Spending time with family is the best. We had family from 12 -57 years old and everyone had a great time. Everyone at facility was very nice and the food at the meeting spot smelled wonderful.

This trip was amazing!! We got off the boat, walked a bit and they were there waiting. The guides were fantastic! The ATV trip had everything we wanted and more. All different Terrains, speeds and stops. Highly recommend! The pool at the end was an added bonus. Tip them well! They work hard for you!!

Wonderful experience! The pick up was punctual, had a great time riding the ATV’s, the food was great and the pool at the end of the tour was perfect and much needed. The staff was really friendly and helpful and there was a photographer! Just amazing!

The atv trail was fire💪🏿🔥🔥 , if we didn’t have to stop for atv constantly cutting off it would have been 5 stars. Maybe it was user error or maybe not but that was annoying. The people from the excursion was very helpful and friendly and made the most of the stoppage and help keep the ride fun. I would say skip the stop to purchase items. It seems a little force to go but something from vendors.

Please know that all our ATV's are less than a year old and receive regular maintenance to ensure they run smooth. However, sometimes unforeseen things may happen, like user error or mechanical issues.
Regarding the stops along the route is to give participants a chance to experience the local culture, interact with locals and even support the local communities if they wish by purchasing a small item to take home and remember their visit to Puerto Plata! Asil and Renaldo, guides, were helpful and knowledgeable, made all parts of trip super fun. We saw incredible scenery, they took photos and videos of us with our equipment. No pressure stop at local artisian store. Equipment great condition and comfortable. Best value excursion we've ever been on. Thank you.

It was our first time on an ATV and we didn't know what to expect. The guide showed us everything we needed and we felt safe. We went to various beautiful locations and stopped for a dip in the sea. We were taken to a coffee/cocoa shop which also sold gifts. Overall we enjoyed the experience, it was fun.

This ATV adventure was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to an adventurous and exciting time. The pick up from the resort was very smooth. Our Driver and guide were on time. Our guide Marilyn(sorry if I misspelled) did a great job of telling us about various landmarks in the city. The ATV ride itself was a nice mix of off road, on road action. Even the stop in town at the souvenir shop was appreciated.
