The areas we stopped to see was breathtaking. The scenery was the best part. The tour guy took this time and explained everything along with how to ride the atv.

Riding the atv’s were actually so much fun , so I would recommend everyone to try it. However I did not like how our 3 hour tour turned into a 4-5 hour tour due to malfunctioning of the equipment. Our arc’s kept breaking down which made the process longer. I would suggest making all vehicles are working properly before renting them out. I really feel like they should have offered have our money back because we were sitting on the road waiting half the time for one of our riders atv to get fixed

For the value, this ATV ride was a fun experience. It was our last day on vacation and this was a perfect cap. The only thing I didn’t like was local price gouging. It’s annoying to be heckled to buy things at every stop. I recommend, if you don’t mind being asked to buy stuff.

Glad we didn’t have an ATV experience before this one to compare it to. Was picked up 40 minutes later than confirmed. Multiple buggies and ATVs continued to break down throughout the excursion. One young man continued to jump ours and others’ with one battery in tow. Felt bad for him and tour guide. Vendors at EVERY stop. We wouldn’t rebook with this company.

I purchased this excursion the day before the date. When I called to confirm a pickup arrangement to the port, they said the event was canceled due to Easter Sunday. If this was the case the date shouldn’t been a selection on the website to purchase. If I didn’t call I would not have gotten a notification.
I can’t say the actual event was bad because I didn’t get to experience
I would advise for the co to cross check the dates they are available so no one goes through this experience

The attempts at nickle-diming us the whole time, including a $20 margarita at the shop and stops at “typical” homes which were actually typical tourist traps was disappointing. The route was rocky roads instead of trails. Macao Beach was beautiful and the cenote was cool.

Where it says that it includes gift shops and street vendors, it is not a surprise that it is included in the excursion. I do not accept this comment because precisely for this reason of customer complaints we decided to include gift shops so that those who buy know that they exist and it is not a surprise. thank you

1 hour delay on pick up time, pick up location is not accurate you need to be at the main gates of the entire complex. Upon arriving there are starving dogs scattered around, you wait and wait then you atv down a dirt road to shops where they try and sell you everything. Then you atv down more bumpy but not in a fun way dirt roads to a beach where you’re once again attacked by sellers. The horse ride was 10 minutes at max and we didn’t even get to ride on the beach, just down a path and turned around and back. Guide wasn’t a guide he just made us follow him, no speaking or explaining anything. We ATVed to the cave which was the best part because we were allowed 10 minutes of no sellers attacking us in the cave but outside of it there are dozens of people selling the same crap.

Please believe the reviews! Do not book. The ATV ride and horseback ride was actually great (yes, the horse back ride is short). Yet, the places that they take you are nothing short of a bunch of locals trying to FINESSE you out of money. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON THIS TOUR, ITS A SCAM!!! The tour guide, Juan, was very rude and not friendly. Then he literally FORCED us to write a 5 star review and checked all of our phones to make sure we did it.

We took the ATV & horseback riding trip.
They don’t tell you the horses is barley a 2 minutes ride…. They don’t recommend what to bring on the trip beforehand. When we came, they said it’s important to have glasses, and bandannas but they are selling it for a ridiculous amount of money. The ride on the ATV was nice, our ATV worked but for another guy in the group it broke down constantly , I’m sure he was annoyed, and we all had to stop a few times so they could fix it for him.
The van that picked us up was in bad condition.
We overall had a good time, seeing nature, but next time I would choose to close activities through our hotel to avoid unpleasant surprises.

I was looking forward to this excursion with my friends. There was a group of 5 of us. it took a while...maybe 20 minutes of them working on the 4 wheelers to get them working. Once we got on the four wheelers two of them broke down and had to be fixed. They had a pit crew of sorts following us that would jump in and work on the 4 wheeler and then have us go on our way.
Our first stop was out "cultural experience" with cocoa, mama Juana, , coffee along with their other wares. The gentleman who did the presentation was funny and personable. However, at the end of the presentation they told us that they were splitting us into groups, the two couple and one singled out from our group. We told them that we would prefer that our group not be separated that way and that we wanted maybe a three two split so one of us wasn't alone. They told us no, this was the way it was. Once they got us in our "groups they started with high pressure sales. One guy ( the presenter was telling us that some of their healing balm was $20 while our friend who was along was told the same jar was $40. The larger jar was $60 (mind you it can be bough at RESORT prices of $20 for the large one) Then the woman that was alone was told that he would sell it to her for $50. it would cost $40 for the product and $10 would go to his kids. We all left without purchasing anything. None of us have a problem purchasing from locals, we encourage it, but it was too shady and high pressure.
We got back on the 4 wheelers and went through some large mud puddles (make sure you are prepared to get dirty, lots of mud, which is fine if you are prepared for that. We got to the public beach where once again they wanted to split us up for the horseback riding. We were not allowed to all go together as they only have two horses. Not something they tell you in their ad. We decided to not go on the ride as our whole reason for going on an excursion was to be together and enjoy things together. The beach was nice. Be sure to not go out past your waist, they told us we would die. The undertow is very strong. It is, of course, a beautiful beach. they told us we had 15 - 20 minutes there.
We were rushed out of the beach and Brough to the cave. You walk down the stairs and there is a water hole there. There is a large drop off and a small rope for you to pull yourself up if you jump in. It is steep and we watch a couple younger people jump in and struggle to get out. There is only the rope and a fairly large drop off. We chose not to get in as we only had 15 minutes there and watching others struggle to get out left us not wanting the struggle. This is NOT a cenote. It is a pool of water in a cave. Some of the advertisements say cenote, not the case.
We drove back to the beginning. One of our friends had parts fall off her 4 wheeler and the others behind her had to avoid them.
Once back they told us they would call our ride and they would be there soon. No other words were exchanged....They said very little other than at the beginning they told us we would be at each place for 15 - 20 minutes.
The guy that was our transportation had the radio so loud (to and from) that we had to yell to talk to one another.
Overall it was not the best excursion I have been on and I would not do this specific one again with any friends when we return tot eh Dominican.

It was not bad but two of the four wheelers kept messing up on us so it didn’t help enjoy the experience…then we all spoke English and our translator was not with us the whole time so trying to ask or tell something was horrible bc of the different languages. Then we understand the community wants to sale their items etc to us bc it was a lot of people just jumping in our face, hassling us down about buying stuff. We did buy some things but every place we stopped at had the same stuff and they over priced everything , wouldn’t tell us the original price of things so it was kinda aggravating. But overall it wasn’t bad but I definitely think it should be more focus on riding the four wheelers for enjoyment instead of stopping at store and just whomever you get to be the translator needs to be more responsible in making sure your tourist are good and feel safe in every aspect.

The guides were not helpful at all. They only helped the 2 Dominican ladies that were also on the excursion. The horses looked very malnourished and the ”beach walk” was more. like a walking trail away from the beach. The guides also allowed the 2 Dominican ladies to ride the horses back to where they made us park the ATV’s and made the other 5 of us walk. My overall experience was not great! I would not recommend this to anyone.

Amazing experience! Everyone is soo nice! Very professional! I was a little scared of the ATVs but the people there helped me! Everything was smooth everytime i come back i will definitely book again! Even my boyfriend enjoyed it! Most fun we had in DR! Thank you soo much! This excursion was pricey and very average. The ride on the ATV was beautiful, we rode along the country side. Each Stops had locals pressuring to buy overpriced stuff. The ride on the horse back was under 5mins which is crazy being that’s what I wanted to do most. The whole experience was under 3 hours.They need to do better for the price listed .

Over priced, our tour guides were not friendly. The staff running the tour make or break a trip, smiling, laughing, talking to us. We seemed like an inconvenience to them. ATVs were constantly stalling. There were 3 stops and at every stop it was pressure to buy something. Then hurry on to the next stop. Only 3 horses, we are a family of 4. We were not told we had to bring bandanas and then had to buy them there. Pictures were way over priced. The cave was the best part, just was not long enough of a stop.
