What are people saying about Croatia

The tour was well paced...
The tour was well paced and highly informative. Our tour guide Petra gave us lots of interesting tidbits about Croatia and Zagreb. Restove is a pretty little village, but there is nothing to do there to spend the 30 minutes free time. The Plitvice National Park is absolutely beautiful, and we had to move along. I wish we could slow down at a few spots to have time to soak in the scenery. Overall, it’s a great tour and I highly recommend it.

As a solo traveler, I can...
As a solo traveler, I can honestly say the Underwater Museum completely took my breath away – such a unique and unforgettable experience.
Even though I’m not the best swimmer, the sea is shallow and the statues are visible from the surface, so I was able to see all of them without any problem. After swimming and snorkeling, I relaxed on the loungers, which are free, along with the sun umbrellas and access to the aqua park – perfect way to unwind!
The crew was extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Lunch was delicious, and the best part is that everything is included in the price, so there are no hidden costs at all.
Highly recommended to everyone – a truly memorable tour!

Easy, fun, and beautiful
We had a lovely trip to Krka, guided by Mia who is a wonderful and very informed guide. The walk through the park is really easy and beautiful, set on an elevated wooden plank trail, and has gorgeous views no matter the season. There are a wall of stairs to come out of the park to the meeting point at the end, so if you have limited mobility I would keep that in mind. We came in off season, so it was less crowded which was a bonus. Mia was so knowledgeable about not only Krka National park but also Croatia’s history and culture. Not to mention she is very funny and easy going and makes everyone feel welcomed.
The bus ride up to the park is around 30/1:00h depending on traffic so you get a good break after walking. Gorgeous views on the ride to the park, only thing we’d recommend for this trip that we were glad we did is bring a packed lunch (we brought sandwiches from a bakery in Split) as the food stalls In the park are limited and a tad on the pricier side (but not crazy expensive). Great day overall, with a great guide and we felt it was worth the price.

Incredible Day at Plitvice Lakes!
I had an amazing time on the Plitvice Lakes National Park Guided Day Tour from Split! Our guide, Barry, was fantastic—his passion and knowledge made the experience unforgettable. The park's stunning beauty is breathtaking, and Barry ensured we saw all the highlights. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Croatia!

Great way to see the beauty of Split!
This was such a fun experience for our party of 6 adults during our cruise stop. We were able to see so much more of Split than we would have ever been able to do on our own. Our tour guides - Ella, Rosa, and Tomas - were so friendly and knowledgeable about this great town. We were able to learn so much and fell in love with the beauty around us. Highly recommend - especially if you are limited on time like you are with cruise stops. We will be back!

Best tour!!!
Dalia was an amazing tour guide, made our day very special. She has the knowledge to explain history acts about the country and the places we visited. The little village we visited is a dream, so beautiful and the lakes itself are not difficult, as there is an included bus ride and later a boat ride of 30 min each. Apart from that, it's walking but very moderate. Also there are plenty of WC stops, place to eat, thought it's good to bring you food. All I can say is, definitely do it, Dalia never rushed us, she did an amazing job!!! Thank you very much Dalia!!!!

You must be mobile as...
We enjoyed the tour but people must be aware that at the Krka National Park you must be mobile as there are stairs and boardwalks that are uneven and in some areas there were no railings. We had some older people in the group that struggled and needed help. Our tour guide was excellent and helped these people tour the park to ensure they were safe.

Ivan is a native of the area and very knowledgeable about the history and current events. We learned so much from him during our drive. It was fun to see a little of Montenegro and explore the towns of Parast and Kotor on the Bay of Kotor. Beautiful area with the mountains coming right down to the water and so much history. The walled city of Kotor was a particular highlight and the restaurant Ivan recommended was great! Also important, he was a safe driver. I would highly recommend this tour.

An excellent tour of the Split / Trogir area
We toured with Andrej this day, and he did an outstanding job of driving us between locations and then guiding us at each location he visited. Bravo!
I'll try to summarize the day so you can assess whether the itinerary matches what you want to do while you're visiting the area.
1) Pick-up from the cruise ship area is a bit dicey because the area where you're picked up is shared by local taxi drivers trying to sell you their tour, and the unloading road used by passengers of the large ferries traveling the area. Andrej had a sign, and we found him, but I'd suggest his company give him a larger sign with larger letters to make the process easier (i.e. not Andrej's fault). The pick-up spot is at the point where you pass thru the security gate and taxi drivers start to swarm you - stay there.
2) The drive to Trogir was relatively short and pleasant, and we had a good conversation with Andrej, who told us about his job and the area.
3) The old town of Trogir was pretty and interesting - we had plenty of time there to see the sights, have a bite, and have something to drink.
4) We made a few stops on the way back to Split, and they were also interesting historical locations.
5) The Old Town of Split and the Diocletian's Palace were excellent, and Andrej's narrative was excellent as well. We really enjoyed the area.
6) We were tired, so rather and walking around the Old Town further and walking back to the ship, we asked Andrej to bring us back, which he did.
In summary, we avoided the cruise ship swarms of people by heading out to Trogir early, and we had an excellent tour with Andrej.
I can strongly recommend this tour to you as a great way to see the Split / Trogir area.

Great experience! Picked us directly at the hotel and very punctual. Captain Toni was very friendly, guided the boat with great skills even wheb the waters turned a bit rough, and the stops were great to visit. Drinks available throughout the whole experience, and very flexible around how much time we decided to spend at each stop.
Very professional, totalñy recommended.

Zagreb to Split with park
It is a full day , leaving Zagreb at 8 am. Sonja our guide from Zagreb explained our day. She is knowledgeable and so nice to be with. At Plitivice Park we met up with the group from Split led by Mia. The two groups stayed together during the tour of the park. Both guides were excellent and knew their facts. We went on to Split with a full group on the bus. Great day.

A Don’t Miss Experience with Barry and Sonja
Great tour to Plitvice Lakes. Our tour guide Barry was knowledgeable and funny. He had lots of good information about the national park and the areas we drove through on our way to Plitvice. He even gave us restaurant and gelato recommendations in Split. Shout out to Sonja, Barry’s colleague, she was fantastic !
