Adriano was a great guide, we learnt and saw many places in Pula we would never have know were there without his tour. His historical knowledge along with his local knowledge is fantastic. It was a really good experience and I’d highly recommend you to book it
Great tour with Adriano. It was great to learn about Pula from a local historian who added fascinating information and context about the town.

Adriano was a knowledgeable and interesting tour guide who was well informed and told us many great stories about Pula. He showed us so many hidden places in Pula which we would not have found on our own. He welcomed our questions and was able to answer them all! He also gave us great recommendations on places to eat/ drink and visit during our stay so recommend do the tour early on in your stay.

Adriano was super knowledgeable about the very complicated history of Pula - both geopolitical and archeological. It is very important to us that he was a historian, we like to have that information about a town we are visiting. The walking tour was well thought out and planned from beginning to end to see the important sites, as well as some local culture. Very much recommend.

I travel solo, usually during the off season So I was pleasantly surprised to be able to book this tour with basically a days notice. I was the only one on the tour so it was very one on one . My guide showed me around the city at a nice pace and even gave me some tips on areas outside of Pula
We were traveling through Istria with friends and staying in Pula. At the last minute we decided we'd like to know more about this city than we could gain just walking through it on our own. Our guide, Adriano, was a very knowledgable historian who grew up in Pula and spoke great English. We had fun spending a few hours with him seeing the local historic spots, especially the incredibly well-preserved Roman amphitheater and getting local insights on life in this town.

We had a fantastic and highly interesting tour of Pula with the hugely experienced and very knowledgeable Adriano.
Adriano is a local historian and was able to recount many stories of the city of Pula and, of course, of Croatia itself. He delved back into the Roman founding of the city and went even further back to explain the powerful istrian tribe that originally made Pula their home, about 3,000 years ago. He brought us to many monuments and statues and pointed out famous buildings along the way. In doing so, he conjoured up his own portrait of this lovely city.
He also gave us lots of tips of places to discover both in Pula and in other places within easy reach, during our stay in the city.
Adriano was so enthusiastic in imparting his knowledge that it was wonderful to spend time absorbing that with him. We would highly recommend a tour with Adriano.
