Well organised trip. Was picked up from my hotel and transported to the bus. The guide was great at explaining everything. The lakes were amazing. Was dropped off near my hotel in Split. Was exactly as described.

Wonderful Transfer

Stephanie_G, Sep 2026
Perfect for those who want to see the park and commute comfortably. Sanja was our starting guide and was filled with knowledge from start to finish and paced the trip perfectly. Mia came on for the journey to Split and provided recommendations around Split which will be useful!

Good way to travel

Miles_K, Jul 2026
A great way to travel between two cities, with a tour of the Plitvice Lakes area in between. The Lakes tour was rushed (due to the timetable and the large crowds), but our guide, Samantha, did a great job of giving us info, and herding us through the crowds. The second part of the trip( on towards Split) included a lunch stop ( good restaurant choice) and the ride down to the coast ( bus was unfortunately warm) - cost was a little high, but it was convenient. Drop off in Split was central ( near the Palace)

Wonderful Day Trip

Lisa_B, May 2026
This trip was a must see, and Mia and Sonja were wonderful guides. Highly recommend. The waterfalls and the lakes were spectacular. It is a lot of up-and-down walking so I be careful on the uneven terrain.

Plitvice Lakes from Zagreb with a transfer to Split.

Wendy_D, Oct 2025
Went from Zagreb to Plitvice with guide Sanja. She was great with commentary along the way which was interesting and informative. We joined with group from Split with Mia as a guide also. Both guides were energetic, fun and shared a great deal of information and appreciation of the beautiful lakes. Stunning scenery. Rated 4 vs 5 as the large group took away some of the value of being in nature. If you were near the back of the group you missed the commentary at vantage points. We were well looked after with great instruction and suitable stops both directions. Bus drivers were very good.

Daniela was nice but it seemed that she didn’t want to be there or it was getting too boring for her. I think she needs a break from the tour

We had an amazing day in the national park with Mia and Sanja! It was a long day (11 hours) but the pace we set through the park was very reasonable that everyone was able to keep up. Ultimately this was a great way to get from Zagreb to Split!

Grace_N, Sep 2025
We started the walk at the Lake close to noon and ended slightly past 3pm. Not much commentary by the guide throughout. It would have been better for the tour company to advise before the amount of walk expected and timings (lunch was after that close to 4pm). Views were nevertheless fantastic!

Zagreb to Split with park

Janice_W, Sep 2025
It is a full day , leaving Zagreb at 8 am. Sonja our guide from Zagreb explained our day. She is knowledgeable and so nice to be with. At Plitivice Park we met up with the group from Split led by Mia. The two groups stayed together during the tour of the park. Both guides were excellent and knew their facts. We went on to Split with a full group on the bus. Great day.

If you’re not concerned with having an energetic and funny guide, this tour ticks all the other boxes!

I did not quite know what...

MarieFrance_B, Sep 2025
I did not quite know what to expect with this tour as some reviews mentioned that they were picked up by a big bus and the tour group was huge. I guess it depends on the time of year? We ended up being 11 + our tour guide, Danielle. I was very happy with the size of our group and Danielle expertly led us through the various pathways through the lakes past some absolutely beautiful spots. Lots of great photos that of course don't do justice to seeing the beauty of this national park with your own eyes. Weather also cooperated that way staying overcast for most of the day so while it was warm it wasn't uncomfortable. Lunch was quite late as we wrapped up walking the lakes at 3pm, but the restaurant was nearby and I got to enjoy some local trout that was quite tasty. This tour was definitely a great way to go from Zagreb to Split without just taking a regular boring bus. The day was long but absolutely worth it!

Awesome and Amazing

An awesome 12-hour day and well worthwhile. Had great tour guides (Sanja and Mia) - so helpful and informative and loved the Plitvice National park - amazing landscape, lakes and of course, waterfalls .

Our first combined sightseeing and transfer tour was a wonderful experience. Pickup from Zagreb was punctual, the van comfortable, and the 2.5-hour drive smooth. The 8 km hike through Plitvice Lakes’ stunning waterfalls and lakes, plus a short boat and bus ride, was unforgettable. Lunch had vegetarian options, and transfer to Split was seamless. Excellent service from Gray Line guides Sanja and Mia—highly recommended!

Plitvice Perfection

Joseph_S, Jul 2025
We loved the guided tour of Plitvice Lakes. Our tour guide Jessica was very culturaly knowledgeable and she was just great fun. The tour/transfer run perfectly and was very well timed and comfortable. The lakes themselves were one of the most amazing places on the planet. The colours and scenery were breath taking and a definite bucket list destination. We didn't feel any overcrowding and had plenty of space for some great people free scenery photos.

Wonderful way to get from Zagreb to Split or vice versa!

Amy_G, Jul 2025
Such a great way to make the transfer! Plitvice Lakes National Park is just insanely gorgeous, and they’ve organized in such a way that, even though there are still many people, it’s not overwhelming. It’s about five miles of walking, lots of steps and some up and down. My guide was so helpful with some difficulties I was having with walking, and was very interesting and informative.

It is a very good way to travel between Zagreb and Split. Our tour guide was not as informative as some of the others we heard in passing, but we still learned a lot. The Lakes are stunning and definitely worth the visit.

Am really glad I went on...

Jennifer_S, Jun 2025
Am really glad I went on this excursion but I think it was a little expensive for what you get. Yes, the lakes are beautiful and definitely worth seeing. Also, our guide Sanja was great. She spoke good English, gave great instructions and communicated clearly and often. She also was very friendly and was able to herd our large group around through the park without losing anyone. The bus was also very comfortable and nice. I think the only issue was that, since the park entrance ticket wasn't included - the price of this trip from Zagreb to Split was nearly $200, which feels a bit expensive considering that lunch isn't included either, and you are herded through the park at a pretty fast clip, so you don't get to sit too many places to take it all in. So - while I think it's a little over-priced, I don't think there are too many tours offering this type of trip, and I was happy that I got to see the Lakes and have a guide, which is why I am giving this a 4-star rating.

The lakes and waterfalls were absolutely stunning! I loved this National Park. And very convenient to be able to see this and also get transferred to Split from Zagreb.

Definitely worth it!

Marjan_D, May 2025
Sanja was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about the area. The lake walk and our transfer went very smoothly! A great way to travel from Zagreb to Split.

Not worth the price

Tom_P, May 2025
The lakes are worth some trouble to see but I can’t recommend doing it this way. Our tour spent 2/3 of the time in the park waiting for slow walkers and other logistics. We spent so much time with that we didn’t even get to walk the lower lakes. Huge disappointment given that we may never get back there. And the transfer was a cluster too. Worked out but we got the last two seats on an uncomfortable bus for a 3 hour trip to Split. Definitely not worth the money.

Very convenient and smooth transportation. We also learned more tips for the next couple of days to get ready for more fun. Highly recommend this way of traveling.

LONG DAY but the park was amazing, as exp

Vicki_G, Oct 2024
I had Plitvice on my bucket list and was not disappointed. This tour was a march (some complained that it was a death march!) through the highlights of the upper and lower portions of the park, with a relaxing boat ride in the middle. I was terrified of losing the group, though it was very large.I was therefore a little afraid to stop and take pictures. The only way to ameliorate that terror would be to decrease the sizes of the groups. There were simply too many members of the group, with different mobility thresholds and ages. The tour leader Jessica did a great job, and though the driver from Zagreb to the restaurant was taciturn, he got us there safely. It drive from the restaurant to Split was confusing-- we changed group leaders, busses, and drivers and I was unsure of who or how to tip.

Astounding Beauty!

Christine_H, Oct 2024
Plitvice Park is a treasure! The emerald waters and waterfalls are amazing! Our guide, Saja, was so Informative. We are older and slower but she made the long walk very enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour.

A beautiful drive and hike.

Charlene_M, Oct 2024
This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide Zeljka was amazing. She told us all kind of history about Croatia and the national parks. It really made the bus ride go quickly. The hike around the park was absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend.

Breathtaking waterfalls.

Carmen_A, Sep 2024
What a lovely way to have a transfer and see beautiful waterfalls . We had a very easy to understand guide Sonja who was very informative. I highly recommend this tour from Zagreb to Split but I think all fees should be inclusive as it is a pain trying to find cash to then get into the park. It would be good if they had more of these tours from one country to another.

Beautiful waterfalls

Claire_A, Sep 2024
Great tour. The operators were very helpful. Be aware, the day was long and the group was big. Although, the operator we had, Sanja, made sure we all knew where we were, timing etc.

Great till the end when my suitcase was not on the bus

Janice_O, Sep 2024
They managed to put suitcase on the wrong bus when the did the transfer to split. I had to get up at 3.30 am to get my suitcase which was delivered to the bus stop. I feel it should. have been delivered to my hotel. I also fett err l I should be refunded for my Uber fees and inconvenience

The lakes are impressive

Kerry_B, Sep 2024
The lakes are spectacular. Unfortunately it was raining and cold. It is a large group, over 50 people, so there is very little commentary which was disappointing. I’m not sure why the tour does not include the entrance fee to the park which made the overall tour very expensive.

Plitvice Lakes was beautiful with room for improvement for the tour operator

Melisa_O, Sep 2024
Plitvice Lakes was a wonderful place to visit. Full of beauty, scenic shots and natural landscapes. We thoroughly enjoyed the park visit and come away with lasting memories. The tour itself leaves much to be desired, with a big hole in our wallets. The tour itself capitalizes on a niche service as there's limited ways to get from Zagreb to Split. While the tour conveniently packages the connection and tour into one, the cost factor is unreasonable (i.e., the tour takes advantage for lack of alternative options). We booked other trips in our Croatian vacation that were lengthier in duration (the drive and tour) with half the cost. We expected our experience would surely be justified and yet we were proved wrong. The tour guide was pleasant and organized the group well but hardly shared historical context or informative facts about the tour, location - a sharp contrast to other tours we booked that week. And so we're left with icing on the cake. On our ride home, the tour guide insisted we leave a review and walked around on the bus - person-to-person - asking them to scan a QR code and guide them in leaving a review. Given what we know about human psychology - people are more likely to give a positive rating when asked - I am inclined to think there is an element of bias in the positive ratings for this tour. This review may sound critical but sometimes a dose of honesty can make for good medicine. There is an opportunity for this tour (or other tours) to do better and fill the gap for a reasonably priced transfer service between Zagreb and Split with Plitvice Lakes. Hopefully this review may be of help to others and this tour operator.

Great park, nice guides, a bit rushed

Alex_H, Sep 2024
This was a convenient way to get from Zagreb to Split with a nice stop on the way. The guides were nice and helpful. The park itself is absolutely amazing, but since the groups on these tours are so big, you end up feeling a bit rushed through the park. In hindsight I would probably have preferred to visit the park on my own at my own pace. The transfer process was very efficient, and the restaurant we stopped at was very good. The bus from Zagreb was more like a large van so not very comfortable, but the bus to Split was larger and quite nice. Overall an enjoyable day.
