Meet a driver at your Zagreb hotel or central meeting point, then board a climate-controlled vehicle.
The first stop of the day is the village of Rastoke, a historic community at the confluence of the Slunjčica and Korana rivers. Walk through the village to see traditional watermills and old-fashioned riverside houses, built from limestone and wood.
Continue to Plitvice Lakes National Park for a guided hike that explores some of its 16 lakes, which are linked by waterfalls. See the Lower and Upper Lakes on foot, then cruise across Kozjak Lake, which is surrounded by thick evergreen forest (boat service is suspended from November through March, when tours of Plitvice Lakes National Park are on foot).
At the end of your day in Plitvice Lakes National Park, begin the return trip to Zagreb, where this tour concludes with a drop-off at your original departure point.

- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities
- Please note: November 1st through March 31st, the panoramic vehicle and electric boats do not operate. Tour will be operated on foot during these periods.

Plitvice Lakes National Park is a crown jewel of Croatia. We are wowed by the stunning turquoise lakes and waterfalls with fall colors. The entire trip is arranged flawlessly and the guide is extremely attentive. Definitely recommend this tour.

Martina made wonderful. The weather made the opposite of what we were expecting. Snow was unexpected but Martina made memorable. At the end of the snow watering cold was a hot tea with cookies. Happy birthday Martins!

So fun! Rose was an amazing guide, super easy to understand, gave us lots of opportunities for bathroom breaks and rest stops. She also gave me a great restaurant recommendation in Zagreb. Plitvicka is incredible, it's like an alien planet.

It was an amazing day. The village and its natural waterfalls was beautiful. Even the rain didn’t make it bad. The visit at the park was incredible too. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. If you have a chance do the tour.

The park is gorgeous. Because I went in March it rained some and was mostly cloudy but still amazing! The tour guide, Martina, was great and she had rain coats and umbrellas if needed.

It was a once in a lifetime tour. Rastok was a fresh breath of air about life in a rustic village surrounded by waterfalls and Plitvic is a no brainer must watch. Maya was an excellent guide!

A wonderful day trip from Zagreb. I was worried about the weather traveling during the shoulder season but it was fine! I didn't realize the upper parts of the lakes were closed over winter which was a bit disappointing but I'm still glad I went, the waterfalls were stunning 💙

Plitvice lakes is breathtaking, absolutely beautiful and the autumn colours were just magnificent. It is a must do.
Our only disappointment was the pace of the trip, it was difficult to take inter wonderful surroundings as it was so fast paced. We would have preferred to have missed Rastoke, or spent less time there to increase the time in Plitvice. It also seems pointless to queue for the boat trip when we could have walked around the lake faster and not wasted time standing in a queue.
Upon reflection we really wish we had done this trip independently and could allow time to take in the beauty of the national park at leisurely pace.
The walk is not strenuous.

The scenery of the park is beautiful!. It is about 8-9 kilometers walk, not recommended for people who have mobility issues. I travelled with my parents and they are in their 80s, our tour guide Dinko was very friendly and guided us to take the boat to pier 3, then walk back to our meeting point. Overall, it was a great experience.

Rastoke village is a must see!! It’s in a fairytale setting.
Plitvice Lakes are so beautiful. Our guide, Dinko, did a great job and was very kind to me as I had a sore ankle and could only manage the lower lakes. My husband did the upper lakes and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It is about a 3hr trip to get there including the stop in Rastoke. An intriguing little village. The lakes and waterfalls were endless and we ended up walking about 8km. Beautiful scenery.

Martina was our guide and we had the best day. She took care of us the minute she picked us up until she dropped us off. Plitvice Lakes National Park is like visiting the Gardwn of Eden! So beautiful and the little town of Rastoke is a wonderful start to the tour. We had the most amazing day with Martina. We got a lot of fabulous photos and the pace around the park was fantastic.

Great experience in a small group! Our guide walked around the entire national park with us and he was able to point things out along the way. Our group was all able to manage the quick pace and it was over 9km of walking when all said and done. Excellent experience if you like to move at a quick pace and make sure you see everything the park has to offer!

This was a very good trip and I highly recommend it. You will walk about 5 miles so if you're not a walker, you don't wanna do this. That said if you're interested in a hike with some good looking lakes and forest this is a fun time. The guide was great

There is quite a bit of a walk , approximately 5-6 miles, don’t take heavy totes, wear comfortable sneakers
Our guide was Martina, she was amazing and gave us a lot of historical background on the park as well as the cory of zagreb and croatia… very interesting and enlightening

Lots of walking (which you should know already) and be prepared to stop every 5 seconds so someone can take a picture! Otherwise, this was a great day. Beautiful scenery and an excellent guide. We're not group tour people, or guided tour people (we're still not) so this was a huge thing for us, since we couldn't find another way to get to the park on our own. Petra made the experience great, and was super knowledgeable and sweet. Like I said, I'm not a guided tour person, so I didn't actually listen to the speaking while on the hike, but my husband did and said it was really good. I just enjoyed the scenery and took photos and tried not to get in anyone's way.

A fantastic day looking at waterfalls at Plitvice and Rastoke
Our fabulous guide Martina picked us up in an immaculate Mercedes 8 passenger mini bus. Her driving was excellent and she kept up a constant stream of information while driving and later while on our 5 hour hike and boat ride through the national park
Our first and short stop was at Rastoke, an interesting village where all the houses are above subterranean streams
We then went to Plitvice Lakes National Park. A grand group of lakes is deep in a valley with a vast number of big and small waterfalls and rapids. Very beautiful and photogenic
It’s quite a hike down from the park entrance on the valley rim, then over somewhat uneven walkways and stairs. Midway through a boat took us across a large lake for the final section of the valley floor and then the climb back out of the valley.
The description said moderate fitness is required. My wife and I are in our later 70s and early 80s. By the time we got to the start of the final climb out of the valley we were exhausted, so Martina organised for a park minibus to drive us up to the exit
