The first stop of the day is the village of Rastoke, a historic community at the confluence of the Slunjčica and Korana rivers. Walk through the village to see traditional watermills and old-fashioned riverside houses, built from limestone and wood.
Continue to Plitvice Lakes National Park for a guided hike that explores some of its 16 lakes, which are linked by waterfalls. See the Lower and Upper Lakes on foot, then cruise across Kozjak Lake, which is surrounded by thick evergreen forest (boat service is suspended from November through March, when tours of Plitvice Lakes National Park are on foot).
At the end of your day in Plitvice Lakes National Park, begin the return trip to Zagreb, where this tour concludes with a drop-off at your original departure point.

- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities

The tour was well paced and highly informative. Our tour guide Petra gave us lots of interesting tidbits about Croatia and Zagreb. Restove is a pretty little village, but there is nothing to do there to spend the 30 minutes free time. The Plitvice National Park is absolutely beautiful, and we had to move along. I wish we could slow down at a few spots to have time to soak in the scenery. Overall, it’s a great tour and I highly recommend it.

Rose was an excellent driver and guide. She was so full of information about Plitvice lakes and Croatia in general. She was open to all our questions. She went out of her way to find special views and exciting natural elements. It was a truly beautiful day. Would definitely recommend the small group tour as it allowed us to move around quickly and customize it for everyone.

If you happen to have Martina as your tour guide and Richard as your driver, know that you will have fun, learn many very interesting stories about Croatia and be back on time if you happen to have dinner plans, or as it was in our case, a wedding rehearsal dinner! We did the party of 8 group size. The only negative of the whole trip was the size of the van. There were 3 of us in the front including the driver and thank goodness my seatmate was my friend because we were literally cheek to cheek the entire time in the car and on the way home with the temp over 95 it was like sitting by a heater even with air conditioning. Our guide was very articulate and knowledgeable about the park and Croatian history. She was very informative, patient and well organized. She had options for those of us that wanted to sit out the last 1.5 hours of hiking and we reconnected seamlessly on their return and walked the last 15 minutes together back to the van.

Martina was a delightful guide, very knowledgeable and helpful. She had lots of great things to share to help us learn about Croatia, and somehow managed to juggle both the fast and the slow people in our group to keep everyone more or less together. She was excellent at adding in Croatian stories about the area too- that was my favorite part! The park itself is breathtaking. The waters are so blue, so clear... It was a great experience.

You get to walk by all of the lakes (lower and upper). The walking is slow (but that’s to make sure it’s fitting for entire group).
The guide was knowledgeable and gave us lots of great information. She also did nice overviews of what the day would look like and then again as we started each part of our day.
You will be given a headset/earphone to wear so that you can hear the guide even when you aren’t right by her. I have a hard time hearing clearly sometimes so I still preferred to be nearer to the guide so I could also see her talking. That was much better.
I would definitely recommend this guided tour to someone who wants to see and learn a little too!

The parks and water falls were absolutely amazing! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, patient and made an extremely long day a fun experience. This is definitely for people who are highly mobile and able to navigate multiple terrains. There's lots of walking and hiking with narrow path ways to navigate but offers great views once you get there.

There are not sufficient superlatives to describe our experience. Rosa was our driver/guide and we could not have have for a better guide, the lakes were incredible, the whole day (and it was a long day) was perfectly planned so that every step was unforgettable. This is one of the worlds magical places, and we were blessed to have a great guide, Rose, she made sure our day was unforgettable, and been a group of 7, we all enjoyed each others company. Plitvice was beautiful. Rose was an incredible tour guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She was flexible and so prepared!!! Don’t let rain scare you away. The park was less crowded and Rose was PREPARED. She had ponchos and umbrellas for all of us!

Must see if coming to Croatia!
I have been 2 times once in 2023 and was self guided this year with guide. Definitely recommend guide - saves you getting lost.
Seeing Rastoke was something I hadn’t seen and would highly recommend.
Our tour guide Rose was amazing. Full of history and general knowledge. Rose was approachable, informative, great to be around and funny.
She was thoughtful and ensured everyone was safe, had the photos they wanted, tried to keep us dry in the wet weather and ensured we all knew the plan and meet up points.

Pick up was punctual. Tour guide was great! She took us in a different direction than usual so we were not impacted by the crowds or wasted time queuing for boats. The only issue we experienced was at lunch where the choice is limited and the queue was long. None of us used the bathrooms at that spot as the queue was a mile long and we waited a long time for food. Not the fault of the company at all but do recommend you bring your own lunch and visit the gift shop for an ice cream!
Overall great day. The lakes are stunning.

Our guide, Martina, took our group of eight on an incredible adventure at Plitvice National Park.
We hiked around the lakes, admiring the majesty of the falls, while learning about the natural beauty that surrounded us! Martina kept the hiking pace going steadily so we would not miss out on the best spots. The lakes and waterfalls were absolutely magical. The journey was very smooth with a comfortable bus and Chiara our guide kept us well fully engaged with information on Crotia and the lakes. Overall we had a brilliant experience albeit the poor weather and crowd.

The National Park was amazing. At every turn there is another waterfall to view. You are able to get very close for photos. The color of the lake’s waters are very beautiful. Our guide, Rose, was delightful & very knowledgeable. Appreciated hearing both the history & the legends. She took very good care of us. It was a very memorable day.

Attendees should be very aware that the trip includes some 15 kilometers of light walking.
Besides that the nature park is in a league of its own. A must to see and experience.

This day tour is a must. To say that the place is beautiful and amazing is an understatement. I have seen many national parks this by far the best. Our guide Martina was very knowledgeable of the place and the country. She has very good command of the english language. Very accommodating and answered all guest’s questions. Our driver, ”snowman”, kept us safe during the trip. I would highly recommend this tour anybody. Lots of walking though.
