We were picked up by our guide Vinka in front of our accommodation. Vinka was the best! She made us feel very comfortable and she was very knowledgable about the history of Split. My mum had knee problems and had to walk slowly with a cane, and Vinka was very considerate and would do her best to make her feel comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! ❤️

Jelena gave the four of us an amazing city of Split. Not only did she show us the major sites, but she also took us off the beaten path to an open market and shops. She purchased local food for us to experience. She went above and beyond a typical city tour guide.

Wonderful 2 hour tour hitting the highlights of Diocletian’s palace and the old town. Our guide was fantastic, answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations for lunch after the tour. Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a private tour!

Vinka was such a wonderful tour guide. She was so knowledgeable about Split! She told us she grew up here as a child and had so much information. Since we did a private tour she met us at our apartment and even informed us the property used to be a school. I woukd highly recommend a private tour with Vinka!!!

Absolutely book a tour with Jelena! She did a great job of explaining Split history in an easy to understand format - she kept a perfect pace. We started under the palace and worked our way up through the old town. She also treated us to some typical Split/Croatian delights and gave us fabulous lunch recommendations. We take historical tours in every city we visit, and she is up at the top! Well worth your time and money.

We had a fantastic private tour of Split with Vicencija. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the palace and of Split generally. She was also very patient in answering all of our questions and gave us good recommendations for how to spend the remainder of our time in Split. She also made an effort to customize our tour based on our interests. Not being in a large group was well worth the extra cost of this tour.

This was a fantastic tour of Split! Jelena was an amazing guide and showed us the incredible history of Split, from the ancient Roman palace of Diocletian, to the Venetian influence in architecture, and finally the more modern Austro-Hungarian influences. Our tour with Jelena was amazing. She was able to provide history and a vision of the city before the it became part of daily life. If we had toured Diocletian’s palace without guidance we would never have understood the beauty of the city as it evolved.

This was a wonderful tour! Jelena was great to deal with by text and her colleague Vinka really brought the city to life. We all felt like we understood how life worked in the 300’s AD! One of the most moving things for us was visiting the small synagogue in the old Jewish quarter and learning the history of the people who survived and perished. Thank you Vinka for making this so special.

Jelena is a wonderful guide who is deeply knowledgeable. She gave us such an informative tour of the palace delivered in a way that was easy to understand. (Not to mention her English is impeccable). She answered all of our questions with great insight and context. She also gave us incredible restaurant recommendations and tips for our trip that enhanced our time in Split. We wish we had more time in Split to do another tour with Jelena.
We should also mention we brought our very wiggly 4 year old son on the tour and Jelena was so patient and wonderful with him. We highly recommend this tour!
