Quick and Good for Kids
Quick farm tour and then a nice tasting of the olive oils, marmalades, olives, and tea. Alex was a very nice host and answered all of our questions about the olive oil process. Seeing the dragon fruit plants was fun, too. All items tasted are available for purchase and we bought some to take home with us. We booked this the day before and it was a fun, short excursion (we were done in an hour).

Amazing time! If you need...
Amazing time! If you need to get a hold of them, best to send a message via their WhatsApp and not through the viator app, they dont respond to that.
But.... totally made up for it with the Tour! Went longer than expected and wished we could have kept going!

A Perfect Day Exploring Crete: Olive Oil, Mountains, Amazing Food & the Libyan Sea
This was one of the best excursions of our trip and offered a perfect mix of culture, scenery, food, and adventure.
Our day began with a visit to a local olive oil factory, where we learned how traditional olive oil is produced and enjoyed a tasting of several varieties. The explanations were informative and engaging, and there was plenty of opportunity afterward to purchase any products that caught your interest.
From there, we traveled into the mountain region, where we explored the island's diverse landscapes and learned about the different flora and fauna found at various elevations. We made several scenic stops along the way, giving us plenty of opportunities to take photos of the breathtaking views.
Lunch was a true highlight. We visited a locally owned and operated restaurant nestled in a beautiful garden, shaded by an incredible 500-year-old tree. The setting alone was unforgettable. The meal was absolutely delicious—tender oven-roasted potatoes, succulent chicken, and lamb so perfectly cooked it practically melted in your mouth. It was accompanied by local wine, a fresh green salad, and what may very well be the best homemade tzatziki sauce on the island.
A special mention goes to our driver, George, who expertly navigated narrow, rocky mountain roads while sharing fascinating stories and history about the island. His knowledge, skill, and sense of humor made the journey even more enjoyable.
The adventure continued with a stop at a gorge where we climbed among massive boulders and captured some incredible photos of the stunning natural scenery. To finish the day, we headed to the beach, where we had the chance to cool off with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear Libyan Sea.
This excursion truly had something for everyone—history, local culture, spectacular scenery, outstanding food, and a bit of adventure. Highly recommended!

Full day adventure off the grid in southern Crete
Definitely wear good shoes, a hat, lots of sunscreen, and a water bottle and snacks. Plenty of places to refill your water bottle along the way, but no food available. It’s a long but wonderful day hiking the gorge and the. 2-3 hours in Agia Romeli to eat and recharge your body before the ferry ride to head back.

Perfect way to spend a day in Crete!
We loved this entire excursion from the easy pickup at a nearby hotel to the entertaining and informative tour guide Nikos to the beautiful views of the Imbros Gorge and the lovely Sfakia beach excursion. We had planned on doing the Samaria Gorge hike however it was closed when we went to Crete but we’re glad we did this tour instead since the hike itself was two hours rather than five. While we hiked, we were able to leave our beach items on the bus. The beach in Sfakia was a lovely beach that blocked the wind, was refreshing after the hike, and had some rocks to climb around on. The driver did an excellent job navigating some winding roads. Overall, this entire experience from start to finish was well worth it!

Great tour and great tour guide
We had a great guide named Mike. He is very pleasant but also extremely knowledgable and informative. His enthusiasm was amazing, making our tour stimulating. We were somewhat unfortunate with the weather which was colder than normal, but still got to see and do everything as planned. We highly recommend this tour

Amazing tour - Highly recommend
Excellent trip one of the best we have ever been on. Communication of where to be and timings were brilliant. Most of all all the tour guides where amazing especially Nicholi our tour guide was so passionate about making us have the best time ever. He was so knowledgeable, charismatic and got us all laughing out loud. The trip itself was a perfect day in exploring the beautiful Cretian way of life. Thanks again to you all xxx

It was nice to be picked...
It was nice to be picked up by a guide and a small tour bus. We didn’t have to worry about driving the narrow windy roads through the mountains.. The stop was perfect for a bathroom and refreshment break on the way to the beach and the lunch break after the beach was perfect. The beach was so beautiful with soft sand and nice warm and shallow water. Too bad we didn’t see much pink sand. We arrived about 10 min before crowds of people came so we were able to rent two sun beds and umbrella. It would’ve been too hot if they weren’t available.
Really enjoyed the beach. Thought it was much nicer than Balos beach

A Crete Sampler!
I was skeptical that this tour could live up to the rave reviews it has been given, but I can report back that it most certainly does! What was great about this tour is that in the course of a day you get a good overview of Crete, not only the terrain and the sites, but the tastes and the flavors. We saw a lake, waterfall, sea (and swam in it!), mountains, orchards, and rugged terrain. We sampled wine, raki, tea, olive oil, honey, and local herbs. Our driver and guide Kostas did a fantastic job of pointing out the sites and giving us information about the area. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking to get out and see a nice variety of Cretan sites.
The only caution I would give is that is that part of the tour goes off road and can be pretty bumpy and in some places you are on dirt roads that are next to steep drops. The path is plenty wide for the Jeeps and I felt completely safe, though. Even my wife, who can be a nervous passenger, was able to handle it and she, too, loved the tour.
Booking and changing our tour date was super easy via the Viator app and communication with the tour company was also excellent. Go do it!

Amazing experience
Nicolas was friendly and funny and gave lots of information about his horses and the areas we rode through. It was clear he was passionate about his horses and their welfare.
My daughter and I had a great time and saw some beautiful scenery from horseback.

Absolutely fantastic!
What an amazing experience!! We were picked up from our prearranged pickup point by Irene, the daughter of the family that run the farm where the horses are loved and cared for as part of the family! The family were really welcoming, the dad has a cheeky but fun sense of humour which had me giggling most of the time we were there. The trek was amazing, I rode Cherokee and my husband rode Helen. They were wonderful, calm, friendly and loved a fuss. We were accompanied by guides who made sure we were safe as we went up the mountain. At the top, we stopped to take in the views and had some refreshments including ice cold water which was very welcome! After a little time we went back down and had a delicious lunch which was yummy beef koftas, homegrown vegetables and homemade wine, we also had some juicy watermelon. We had fun and jokes and then we were taken back to our drop off point, only a short distance to our hotel. I would highly recommend this truly memory making enjoyable trip. Suitable for all abilities and there were families there too, they have lovely horses suitable for anyone. Absolutely fantastic xxxx
