A really great day. Michael was informative and huge fun. Loved the shepherd farm and the pottery. All very interactive. The olive oil factory was closed but we managed to get to another one for a look around. Lunch was great and saw some spectacular scenery.

Great way to see interesting parts of Crete with knowledgeable drivers.
Might be worth avoiding if you have back issues though as some "roads" were VERY bumpy.
Food was delicious.
I wanted to give a shoutout to our guide, who was very entertaining and did a wonderful job. That said, I reduced my rating because of the food and the timing. With so much delicious food available in Greece, serving a seemingly frozen chicken leg for lunch was a disappointment. On top of that, the pace of the tour was very rushed, which isn't the way I prefer to travel. A bit more time at the stops and a better meal would have made this perfect.
This was an amazing tour from start to finish. Dimitris was an excellent driver and lovely guy. Communication from Safari Experts was great and we were picked up at the exact time given. The trip itself was high paced. We stopped over 10 times, between picture stops, picking herbs and fresh fruit, making pottery, getting lunch, an olive oil factory and more. Really well worth it. My whole family had a great time.
Not quite the route as advertised and it looks like I was bolted on to another tour experience. Cooking lesson and ceramics lesson could have been more involved but still had a great time with the tour guide.
We had a great experience! Mike was our tour guide. He was excellent! He provided so much information. He was very personable. We really enjoyed him. The stops we made were so unique from the goat farm to the small villages to our food demonstration and deli our lunch. I would highly recommend this tour

A varied and interesting day with a great guide in Vagelis. He was constantly taking us to different places with an interesting commentary throughout. We saw lots of lovely quaint villages and learned a lot about their way of life. Brief cookery lesson and pleasant lunch at a small restaurant in the hills. Interesting visit to Olive Oil factory and small family run ceramics. Met some lovely people and had a really enjoyable day

Wow! This was a phenomenal experience. When I first booked this tour, my husband and I were a little nervous, 8 hours seemed like such a long time. The day flew by! They pace all the activities out perfectly. We were never bored or rushed. This was a wonderful experience along and we were able to get some stunning photos of the island’s beauty. This tour is a must do for anyone visiting Crete!
We had a great time on this tour. Note that the tour is not exactly as advertised since some places are either permanently closed or closed for the season or the day. Yes Pagelis and his team ensured that we had enough things to do from milking goats, pottery lessons, and cooking demonstrations. Highly recommended for families and adults given the variety of activities on this tour. Not to mention, this was a great way to get a sample of rural Crete with some off-roading through trails and villages.
Lots of information, fun and hands on experiences. Good way to see off beaten track Crete although we did get bounced about a it in the back of the vehicle. All the drivers seemed very friendly but special shout out to Manos, our driver and Nicos who's group we joined up with at some stops to get a 100% English explanation of things (we were 2 Brits with 6 Germans in our vehicle)

Jesus was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, fun, and engaging. He did his best to make everyone content and it was a loooong day for him! Some of the highlights included milking a goat on a small farm, and all the beauty that Crete has to offer. Lunch was very good and everyone was very hospitable. Would definitely recommend this trip.

An absolute must do!! I took this tour with 2 of my friends (and our group was 8 people total) and it was a perfect way to experience the Cretean community in an authentic way. Our guide Nikos was the life of the party!! We spent a lot of time in the car traveling to each place and Nikos made every minute so so fun! We got to see cooking and pottery lessons, milk a goat, learn about Crete history, and visit a small town, among so much more! We had multiple additional quick stops along the way because the locals were so friendly and wanted to say hi. Overall 10/10 and once in a lifetime experience
