Great way to see the mountains!
This tour is a great way to see the mountains and areas that are no easily accessible, we visited the ancient olive tree, tasted delicious olive oil and wine and had a great lunch at Milia Mountain resort. We also stopped for a local honey tasting, our guide Yannis was excellent and very knowledgeable about the island and had great suggestions for activities!

A beautiful and comfortable tour of Balos and Falassarna
Our tour guide Nikolas.was great! He took us out to the mountains above balos beach, and helped us to feed the goats. So so cool! He taught us a lot of history about Crete as well, and had ice cold waters and snacks ready the whole way. We wrapped up with a few hours enjoying Falassarna beach, and having a beachside lunch as well. The restaurant made incredible food, we couldn't help but eat it all! 5 stars across the board!

Authentic dishes with a side of history
Christos was a wonderful tour guide! He took us to several establishments where we tried authentic dishes that were filling and delicious. When we could eat no more, he walked us around old town and told us about the history of Chania. One of the gentleman who lived there invited us into his family home and gave us some dried kumquats and liqueur made from the fruit grown in his back yard. It was a lovely time.

Food tour in Chania
Manos was our guide and he was phenomenal. His tour included a lot of Greek culture and history, in addition to trying olives, cheeses, gyros, coffee, pastries and meze. We also did olive oil tastings. We did a leisurely walk around town, stopping at 6 locations for food, and a couple more places for cultural enrichment. We highly recommend Manos and this tour.

4x4 tour of the upper area of Crete
We were picked up at the cruise port. Taken to the site for the 4 x 4 wheeler. We drove down around the water, then headed up the the hills overlooking the olive tree farms. . We stopped at the top for a break, then headed back. The Guide stopped in town with all the four wheelers to fill up with gas, then headed back to the location to drop them off. Then we were taken back to the cruise ship.

Fantastic Tour & Guide
We took this tour with Dimitris a couple of weeks ago and it was easily the best tour we were on thru the other islands. Dimitris himself was the most engaging and knowledgeable guide we'd had - he's a veritable walking history book! We learned so much about Cretan history thru the ages (and thru the many occupations), the culture then and now and about the land and the people themselves. It was easy conversation with Dimitris, who is a skilled guide, knowing when to go deeper into a subject and when to let it drift off, gauging the visitors' desire for info (we liked a Lot of info!). We stayed only near Chania, but what we saw of the island was beautiful. Elafonissi is one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever been to. And while the weather was cloudy/rainy in Chania, Nasos, the tour company founder, assured us the weather on the other side of the island near the beach would be fine. Sure enough, it was sunny and warm on the beach!
Milla Mountain Retreat is something to see, passing along the gorge and beautiful scenery on the way. The stone houses at Milla are very cool (literally!) and the restaurant has an amazing view. We had a great lunch and Nasos, was there also so meeting him was a pleasure. He even sent us a complimentary dessert and a local after lunch cordial! Very nice touch!
We'd highly recommend this tour with Dimitris - you'll get so much more than you expect!

Incredible location
Balos was worth the trip. It was very pretty and such a cool experience for us. I recommend doing something smaller for the boat trip to Balos because the larger less expensive ships arrived around one hour into our experience and Balos immediately felt extremely crowded. Gramvousa was also a very cool experience and the fortress at the top was worth the climb if you have time.

Go to enjoy the beach, not to get insta shots of “pink” sand
Simone was a wonderful and engaging guide. The only complaint I have is how many stops are made to pick up additional people outside of Chania. Some of the stops are barely a couple blocks apart. I enjoyed the breaks before and after the beach - the taverna in Elos has huge food portions. The beach: the beach is lovely! And it’s perfect for beachy activities: relaxing, snoozing, sipping a drink, going in the water. It is NOT as pink as the totally touched up photos online would have you believe, and that is fine. If the only reason you’re going is to get insta-photos of a pepto-pink beach, you’re going to be disappointed. The water was quite chilly in early May. Beach chairs/umbrellas are 20€

Great tour
This private tour was an amazing way to experience some of Crete’s most unique highlights in one day. Elafonisi Beach was absolutely stunning, with its pink-tinged sand and crystal-clear water.
We visited the Grocery Store for honey and olive oil tasting giving us a chance to sample authentic local products and learn a bit about traditional production. It felt genuine and not rushed at all.
Visiting the Cave of Agia Sofia added a completely different dimension to the day, with its impressive natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
We finished the tour with lunch and wine.
Our guide made the experience even better—friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible to our pace. Everything was well-organized and comfortable from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a mix of nature, culture, and local flavors in Crete.

Great for Beginners
We took our 6 year old for her first time snorkeling in the ocean. The staff and captain were great. They provided great equipment, including wet suits (Oct the water is a tad cool). My daughter swam about 20 minutes each in 2 different locations. She had a blast. Great for first time snorkelers.

This hike was amazing. ...
This hike was amazing. We ended up going with a very large group, however, went at our own pace.
Highly recommend Hiking shoes. Bring snacks. Water fills along the way. Multiple checkpoints and if you finish early enough, time for a meal and swim at the end before boarding the ferry. Our calves are sore today. Its just about all downhill, so can be tough on the knees. It was beautiful and SO glad we did it. Recommend doing it towards the end of your stay in Crete due to muscle soreness and just being tired. Its a 10 mile/15 km hike with little flat.
Enjoy!

Great day out!
Andrea was a great guide. We saw the old olive tree first which was a nice way to start. Then we did the olive oil tasting. He knew a lot about how the trees grow and are harvested. There were some nice snacks to eat with the oil and wine. The last stop had nice outdoor tables and good wine and food. A really great way to experience Crete!

Life is good in Chania, one of the major cities on the island of Crete. Alongside some of the oldest signs of civilization in the Mediterranean lie vineyards, pink sand beaches, and charming villages that show Greek culture at its best. Chania tours take the hassle out of organizing your trip to the island—go to Elafonissi Beach, the White Mountains, or the ancient Palace of Knossos with easy transfers from your hotel. Or stick around in the city and explore some under-the-radar corners of the local food scene.
