All Chania Tours & Excursions in 2026

Our food tour was an amazing introduction to Greece history, food, and culture! Our guide was so knowledgeable and patient with our 11 year old son. All of the food was tasted was excellent and we received many great recommendations for the rest of our time in Crete. We will highly recommend this food tour for anyone looking to learn more about Crete and sample the delicious traditional foods.

This crew was by far the nicest people ever on a boat excursion! They go above and beyond. The catamaran is gorgeous. There were 90 guests in the peak of summer, yet the boat didn’t feel crowded. Bring extra money for the bar. Drinks were about 7 Euros, and absolutely worth it. Bartender was a pro who used top ingredients!! Lunch was exquisite. Equal to that of a top-notch restaurant. We had VIP tickets, but no need. The cushions are made for two people which is nice, but they are not quite wide enough for two, so we found it a bit uncomfortable sitting so close to your friend or loved one in the heat. There are plenty of places to sit on the main deck. My advice, get there early and snag a bean bag by the nets and you’ll have the best seat in the house!! Driving to the port is very easy, with tons of parking. This activity was easily the highlight of our trip to Crete. I highly recommend it. It was magical.

If I could give this to her 10 stars I would! George picked us up promptly at our desired time and location. We traveled in a very clean and spacious van. Although the day is scheduled for up to 10 hours, we desired only a seven hour tour. Because it is completely private, George helped us to identify what was best for our group to cut, so we would be back at our desired time. We started our day at a beautiful olive orchard where we learned about olive trees, olive oil production, as well as their beehives and honey. We had a very fun tasting experience in a gorgeous setting of the olive trees. After this, we opted to visit the cave, where George told us a little history about its significance. It was a very unique and special experience for our family. When we visited the beach, George was very kind and prepared with beach towels, mats, and even an umbrella. He always had a fresh supply of cold waters for us and did everything possible to make us comfortable. He brought us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and we opted to end our day early. For people who want to do more, the day has the potential to be longer. There is a lot of driving around the island, but George gave us a perfect balance of answering our questions, and also allowing us to just be quiet and enjoy enjoying the beautiful scenery. He was an exceptionally careful driver, as many of these mountain roads seemed quite dangerous. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Don’t hesitate to book! Definitely worth the money. From a timely free pick-up to a boat ride and snorkeling, our experience was great. Captain Panagiotis and his crew were all very friendly and took a great care of us. We felt very safe the entire time and thanks to their snorkeling tutorial we all became instant snorkeling fans. It was a perfect half-day excursion that made our stay in Crete even more special.

A great way to see the beach and countryside away from the hustle bustle of Chania. Adrian our tour guide picked me up and returned me to cruise terminal on time and a great delight! Once we picked up everyone else, he gave us a safety briefing and off we went. Beautiful countryside up into the hills of the island close to Platonias (spelling?)....great fun and he was very safe! Diverse group - family with small children and adults! So much fun ! I highly recommend this tour!

We loved this! As beginners it was great to achieve something new in the most beautiful surroundings and we loved the surprises along the way. Thanks to our wonderful guide/instructor, you were amazing-so patient! Great communication to organise and for pick up etc too. This was a fantastic experience for my wife and I. We were picked up a few minutes walk from our hotel in Chania and rode in a comfortable, air conditioned van. Our first stop was to an olive oil mill. We had a wonderful time meeting with the owner and learning about the process of making olive oil. We learned of Crete's rich history of olive oil and then were able to tour the facility which was impressive. Afterwards we had a guided olive oil tasting and were able to learn more of the subtleties that go into appraising an olive oil. Next we visited the oldest olive oil tree which was nice to take pictures and see. Then we visited two different wineries and had a guided tasting of 5 wines at each place. All of the wines were fantastic, and it was great to learn about the different grapes grown on the island. Our guide Andy was also a sommelier and significantly increased our experience by giving some insight into how wine is professionally appraised. Would 100% recommend.

Amazing day on the water! Exceptional service and food throughout the excursion. We really appreciated how intentional the crew was to keeping order and cleanliness on the boat as well. Beautiful scenery, paddle boards and floats available... everything was perfect and best way to close out our Greece tour! Thank you!
