Top experience for us!
This was a top experience of all time for us. Stelios made it great - showed us how to paddle (our first time), took great care and concern for our safety and took pictures of everything. It was a gorgeous day and the water was perfect. It was a nice mix of activities - seeing the cave, doing the mud and cliff jumping (I bravely did!). We hope to bring our kids back to this beautiful island, its people and even do this experience. So worth it!

Best excursion of the holiday
We had a great time. My girlfriend was very nervous of this trip but it turned out to be our most enjoyable activity. It was really varied with a combination of tarmac and sandy roads. We had a few stops for photos and views in the mountains. We also had a coffee stop at a beautiful lake. The quads got us to places we otherwise wouldn't have seen. We went as a big group and although broken down to smaller groups along the way, it felt reassuring that we were all together. Wear old clothes as you will get really dusty and buy a balaclava for the dust in your face (€2 euro from the venue). It really was so fun and we got photos printed at the end too. Such a great experience and we also didnt think it was too costly for the experience we got.

Amazing hike of Samaria Gorge
Amazing and challenging hike. As advertised. Amazing views and stunning scenery. The whole thing was well-organized. Prompt bus pickup at my hotel at 6am, and safe transportation to the start and from the ferry drop off. Amazing guide. You are at the whim Of the ferry schedule to start the return so it is a full day (back to my hotel at 9:00pm). Not for the feint of heart. The first 4km is a steep downward hike - stone stairs, uneven and rocky footing. The descent was less steep for the rest. But you need to maintain focus for footing.

Spectacular. For the fit, best way to see a lot of Crete in one day.
It is a long day. I was picked up a little after 6:00 a.m. and returned to my hotel at close to 10 p.m. or 22:00. The hike itself is demanding. I am an avid hiker and even I was feeling tired and sore at the end. But it's MORE than worth it! If you're lucky, you'll see a bright red sunrise over the Gulf of Heraklion from the bus window. Later, the ascent up to the White Mountains from Chania is epic. The hike is ~13 miles, which takes most about 6 hours, and has several unique and memorable sights. Finally, almost as brilliant as the hike itself, the open-air boat taxi along the southern coast in the Libyan Sea is stunning and also provides new perspective of the island's dramatic geology, including other gorges. The drive back to Heraklion takes a different route so that you see even more new sights of rural Crete. The operators are well-organized and provide detailed instructions in multiple languages while on the bus to ensure everyone knows the logistics.
