We had such a great time on this tour. The scenery is beautiful. We stopped in a pretty town in the mountains, drive through a lovely pine forest, and then hiked the gorge in stunning late afternoon light. I’m not sure “hiked” is the right word though, it was basically bouldering! Fortunately our guide did a great job helping us scramble up the rocks by telling us exactly where to place our feet. I highly recommend it!

Great day out with George

We was collected outside our apartments on time by George. After three people didn’t show at the next hotel it was just my wife and I and our soon to be Turkish friend and George our guide. We set of to the olive factory which we enjoyed, especially the tasting, The next stop was the village which was quite quant, this was a about an half hour stop and we saw a church and had a wander. Following this we went to the pine forest and zig zagged over the mountain stopping off at various times to see views etc. Then came a superb lunch in a beautiful setting. Loads of food all hand cooked along with wine and raki 👌. Off we then went to the gorge. This was really stunning and whilst its a free thing you can do I would not want to attempt it without our guide. I recommend you wear trainers on this trip as there are some tricky climbs over massive boulders, and through a hole and along sides of slopes. It’s made easier as ropes and foot holds have been formed and fitted. Take your time and listen to your guide and all is doable. We loved it. After this we went to coast and you can swim,, or wander around but the four of us decided to have a beer and a chat. We all got on brilliantly, our new Turkish friend (the excellent climber) and George our guide was who excellent and a gentleman. He made the day fun, interesting, Thank you very much 👍

Wow what a day in Rhodes with our guide Gaetan ! I won’t explain what was included or not as the description of the tour is clear but I can tell you we had an incredible day touring parts of Rhodes that you won’t do by yourself for sure. Gaetan was fun, smart and very knowledgeable ! We had the chance to be in area where the views where breathtaking and had enough free time to tour small villages by our own ! We would really have missed the best of Rhodes without this tour ! Superbe tour guidé avec Gaetan qui a été un guide vraiment intéressant et une personne qui mérite d’être connue ! Toute une journée qui nous aura généré des souvenirs inoubliables pour les années à venir 😀. Petit groupe de 6 personnes et en plus les gens avec nous étaient super sympa ! Impossible de battre ce tour qualité prix !!

This was our best excursion of our trip. The views were fantastic! The climbing in the Gorge was so much fun and the guides did a fantastic job watching out and helping our group! Loved our food at the restaurant they took us to! Michael had lots of knowledge about Crete. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Had a very enjoyable day. Learnt about various olives used in making olive oil & the tasting with pomegranate or blueberry balsamic vinegar was a treat. Visiting the small community of Krista as we started our wild ride through the mountains was a great spot for some shopping & learning a little bit about Krista - the jeep ride through the mountains was a great experience to see the landscape & variety of trees - lunch was a treat - the location chosen was a true village experience in the mountains. The hike & climbing through the Sarakina gorge required some upper body exercise to pull yourself up the ropes over the huge boulders. Geatan our guide was great driver, story teller & made sure we didn’t have a mishap in our climbing through the gorge - would definitely recommend :)

Michael was our tour guide, and he was the best. His knowledge of history, the land, agriculture, local traditions, and culture was outstanding. He was friendly, professional, and went over and beyond to provide the best service we could have expected. We just can’t say enough about his good efforts. He stood out from the rest, as did the choice locations of this tour.

This is a fantastic day out. We were lucky to have Rolf as our driver/guide and he was superb. He is knowledgeable and not robotic with his chat. His roadside stops to experience herbs, fruits etc was special. The lunch stop was superb with great food and friendly service. The gorge walk was out of this world and you felt safe in Rolf's hands. If you do nothing else in Crete, do this excursion.

Excellent and varied tour: village, pine forest, mountain safari with views, gorge walk where you can go as far or not as you feel able (we stopped where you needed tu use ladders and ropes but could have continued had we wished for, great lunch in local mountain taverna and last but not least, a swim in the sea! Full day with great guide. Small group of max 6 persons (we were 5)

We booked this as we wanted to see a different slice of Crete. And we were not disappointed. Our driver and guide for the day was informative and good company, the Landrover Discovery was very comfortable and took us easily up steep hills and rough roads that we would not have dared to attempt ourselves. The landscapes were terrific, and accompany by fascinating stories and legends. Sarakino gorge was a very short but dramatic walk. The lunchtime taverna was excellent, and had it's own chapel (complete with local legends) and waterfall - surely a unique combination! We then had a paddle in the Libyan Sea before returning via a different route. One of our vacation highlights!
