The whole family will enjoy this fun snorkeling activity, which is both relaxing and adventurous. With a small group of no more than ten travelers you'll be taken on a boat ride to two different snorkeling spots. Experience the difference at the open ocean and sheltered spots, both with an abundance of sea life. Snorkeling gear will be provided so you don't need to bring your own.

Great time snorkeling. The water clarity and visibility was incredible. They took us to an amazing cave, we snorkeled back into it about 50 meters, it was amazing. The crew were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. It would recommend to anyone and would like to check out more snorkeling adventures with them! 5 stars!

Started with a lot of confusion he was supposed to be carried up about 1015 minutes after our scheduled time we got to the boat a little bit, disappointed quite opposite that we were on. We ended up being on one of these rubber thingies as opposed to the gold in the picture very professional did a great job, but the expectations were not you promised to the pictures you said the tour was from 9 o’clock in the morning till 1 o’clock in the afternoon back to the ship lat 2:30 PM also, it was not on when we should be back to the van with a family with us that decided to go to the beach and eat lunch lunch when I was supposed to be back on the ball and we have searched them out get them back on the go back to the shed. Very frustrating overall I would definitely recommend it, but I would definitely be cautious and understanding.

Excellent experience. The tour operator was very communicative. The dive master and staff were wonderful. We’re all different levels and they tailored our routes accordingly. Fantastic time!

The pickup point was super easy for someone on a cruise. The trip to the marina where the boats were was about 15 minutes. I was on a regular boat. Others from my ship were on a RIB. There were 2 stops for snorkeling. Both had crystal clear water and a decent amount of fish. I saw a spotted moray and others saw an octopus. Basil and Orestes were good guides. They include SSI snorkel certification, something fairly new. There were very good briefings by Basil and both he and Orestes were in the water and kept a close eye on everyone but without restricting us.

From a timely free pick-up to a boat ride and snorkeling, our experience was great. Captain Panagiotis and his crew were all very friendly and took a great care of us. We felt very safe the entire time and thanks to their snorkeling tutorial we all became instant snorkeling fans. It was a perfect half-day excursion that made our stay in Crete even more special.

Primarily a snorkeling trip. Staff was warm, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. Great with kids. We were on a boat with another family of four and one single traveller who was scuba diving. Equipment was great and wetsuits much appreciated. Water was crystal clear, saw beautiful schools of fish. Lovely excursion!

Jared was a wonderful guide. He made us feel prepared and relaxed as we snorkeled in the crystal clear bay. Such a beautiful experience and also some time to relax on the boat and in the water after snorkeling. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic experience. My wife and I went with our nieces and this snorkeling trip was one of the highlights of our trip to Chania. Jarred and Orestis were fantastic and made the day unforgettable. We can't recommend this highly enough.

Lovely guided snorkel w South African Basel. He also gives a nice explanation of all of the things related to snorkel so you feel most comfortable in the water. The snorkel was fabulous! Also - take the wet suit!

This is a great shore excursion for those who want to explore some of the coast but not be out all day.
We were picked up from the port and taken to the marina where our guides and the boat was waiting. We were given wetsuits and snorkeling gear and then whisked away to a small bay. The water was crystal clear with plenty of fish to see. The guides were very informative in explaining where we were going and how to safely snorkel. We paid extra for the DPV scooters. They didn't go as fast as we were anticipating but still, they allowed us to move around in the water without having to paddle so it was excellent for my husband who has hip pain from repetitive movement. We then got back on the boat, was given a snack and went to another part of the coast to snorkel. Here there were remains of a shipwreck and some small caves that we could look at. Once back ashore we got back on the minibus and were taken through Chania and back to the port. This whole excursion was about 4ish hours which was perfect for us

We were fortunate that it was just the two of us on the snorkelling trip, and our guide, Basil, was very nice; however, there was no need for the "tips being welcome" comment, which made us feel awkward. We only saw a few fish in two places. I have very bad mobility issues and a TBI, and at one point, Basil and my friend swam too far away from me, and I panicked a bit and went back to the boat. Apparently, my friend had said she was concerned about not being able to see me, and Basil had said, " Oh, she's fine". How did he know that? We then finished the tour much too early, then as the van driver took us to collect others dropped off elsewhere, (in a van that has seen better days, you couldnt open the window, and he played awful music much too loud) he then had to drive us all the way back to the beach as he had left his debit card behind which added nearly an hour onto our car journey, then another hour waiting for another tour to come back. All in all, a very stressful end to a trip I had chosen for my mobility issues, for the lack of driving I had hoped to be involved in.

The passion of staff was evident! We were given detailed instructions on proper snorkeling safety and method. Our snorkeling leader kept close watch on us and spelled out the boundaries. The gorge was fascinating to swim over. Snorkeling instructions were clear, even a beginner would feel comfortable. The equipment that was supplied work great! Seemed a bit unorganized when we first got to the boat, but it all got settled out. Efficient transfer to and from the boat from Chania.

Great afternoon of snorkelling with Basil and team. We were picked up right on time at the port and taken to the boat. We were provided with wet suits as the water was a little cool and then proceeded to our first location. Basil provided excellent information about the snorkelling equipment; he’s was a great! Highly recommend this excursion!

This was one of the best snorkel trips ever!! The captain provided a detailed instruction on snorkeling and provided a private excursions for my family of 5. Clear blue water, fish, caves and sea urchins. First class experience!!

It was our first excursion in Greece & our first stop was Crete! We couldn’t have asked for a perfect start to our cruise! Port pick up in the vans was very easy, and our driver Spiros was very nice - opening all doors, offering us candy, and making sure we were comfortable. The team that took us out on the boats and taught us to snorkel were lovely - very easy instructions even for beginner's, we ended up with Pantos and Orestes and they were both funny, kind, and encouraging. I’m not the best swimmer but I had a super fun time in the water! Orestes even had us climb up some smaller cliffs and jump off them, that was a huge highlight for me - who can say that they went cliff diving and swimming in the med on their honeymoon?! I can! Over all we had a wonderful afternoon in the sun, swimming, and enjoying the beautiful waters.

People were very nice and helpful but the boat was a rubber boat and not a sailboat. So it was cold and tight spaced.

We took our 6 year old for her first time snorkeling in the ocean. The staff and captain were great. They provided great equipment, including wet suits (Oct the water is a tad cool). My daughter swam about 20 minutes each in 2 different locations. She had a blast. Great for first time snorkelers.

Really fun day snorkeling! The crew was super and made sure everyone was OK and safe in the water. We wore wetsuits and had a guide into the caves and around the rocks. Not a lot of fish to see but the caves and rock formations were interesting. Christiana arranged pick up and return to our cruise ship. We had a great experience and would highly recommend Chania Divers!

Very fun experience, started out in a more protected area to make sure we all knew what we’re doing. We then went to a larger, less protected area that was beautiful. The guides were fun and engaging, recommend it if you like snorkeling in beautiful waters.

This was a really great trip from the moment we stepped off the ship. We were picked up right outside our ship and taken to a Beautiful small port to begin our excursion. We fully enjoyed our snorkel and cave exploration. The crew was professional fun and knowledgeable. 10/10 would do it again!!

Convenient pick up and drop off. The perfect timing of a shore excursion for a cruise. Guides were helpful. Water was beautiful. We snorkel off of Florida, different experience. More interesting rock formations to see underwater and some fish!

Travelling to Crete on a P&O cruise ship decided to book this snorkel trip via trip advisor. The advance Communication from Chania Diving Centre was superb. We provided details of our ship and our ETA at the port. They sent a minibus clearly liveried as Chania Diving Centre and it picked us up at the dock gate literally 100 yards from the ships gangway. The friendly driver Nikos arrived bang on time at 0850 and told us a bit about Souda Bay as we drove to the ‘dive site’. A rigid inflatable boat whisked us off and we stopped at 2x good snorkelling sites. I seen a parrotfish, trumpet fish, spider crab and lots of other species. Very friendly guides Vasili (aka Basil) from South Africa and Andreus from Turin, Italy. We had a great morning and got dropped off back at our cruise ship by about 1-45. Very good value and friendly team. 🇬🇷🐠🐡🤿
