Zhujiajiao Water Town Tour The Best Day Activity in Shanghai

We enjoyed the most amazing day with our excellent guide Lucy. We were picked up at our hotel in a luxury vehicle and Lucy guided us through the Zhujiajiao Water Town which has been the highlight of our Shanghai visit. We were able to shop local Chinese arts and crafts and learn about the ancient traditions and cultures with Lucy’s help explaining the history of Zhujiajiao Water Town. We also enjoyed a traditional boat ride and a delicious lunch. Please add this tour to your Shanghai list as it is a must do activity. And thank you very much Lucy for being an excellent host and guide.

Hassle free Great Wall experience

The private tour was awesome!!! Pick up at our hotel was so convenient and our guide Linda Shi was very helpful and knowledgeable. She called ahead so our driver was able to drive straight to the cable car area skipping long lines. She and the driver did a wonderful job and steered us to a fabulous tea ceremony and non tourist local place for lunch after the Great Wall. At first I hesitated paying for a private tour/driver instead of just going by bus but it was worth it! Would highly recommend!

Perfect tour

Our tour guide Bobo was absolutely incredible, gave us more information than we could have asked for and didn't waste any time. She told us the best places to take photos and helped us take them. There was very heavy rain when we reached the great wall tourist area, but Bobo was able to get us raincoats so we could keep travelling more comfortably and we made it to the wall without any issues. On the return journey, she answered questions about the locations of the tour, locations in the city, and how to plan the rest of our stay. Perfect tour, perfect tour guide, definitely worth it!

Wild wet windy day !

Neo, our guide was fantastic ! The weather did not play ball and was absolutely awful ! Neo was the true professional, keeping us informed and entertained with his great commentary and knowledge. We would highly recommend this tour as it covers so much ground as well as providing an insight into the history of China which is fascinating. Wonderful day and tour guide

We had a private tour with Sammi, and it was a fantastic day. She did a wonderful job showing us new and old Shanghai, explaining the evolution of the city. Her knowledge and guidance was spectacular, as we went from site to site learning about each location. She did a great job explaining how the city has changed over the years showing us the old; the private garden, and the new; Shanghai Tower. I would recommend this tour if you are visiting for the first time or if you would like to learn the history of the city. Sammi was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and willing to take pictures of my family at each stop along the way.

The day trip to Macau was great! The communication and support from our guides and bus driver were spot on. Yvonne, Cisco, and driver King made the day! The transportation was comfortable from the buses to the ferry. We learned about the history and current day of Macau. If you have time for a full day tour, definitely recommend!

Murphy is a great tour guide

This was a 7am-7pm tour. Murphy was an excellent tour guide. He gave a lot of information about the Tiananmen Square and the history of the Forbidden City. The Great Wall experience speaks for itself. I’d also like to add, the Lunch Buffet was very tasty. The Tea tasting ceremony was interesting, and so was seeing all the jade jewelry and figures.

Great experience

Maggie was a fantastic tour guide! She was incredibly nice and shared a lot of information about the history of the Great Wall, Beijing, and China throughout the day. I highly recommend getting there as early as possible to beat the crowds and to enjoy the views in peace. Taking the toboggan down was so much fun. After the Wall, we were taken to a tea ceremony, which was a good cultural experience, though it is worth noting that the shop staff can be very persistent with their sales pitches after the ceremony.

It was a great tour with a friendly group and fantastic tour guide Eva! Eva was super nice, she texted me the day before to confirm I am attending and introduced herself. The tour included pickups from different hotels, a private bus, Crystal Cabin ride (avoiding queues), a boat ride, and a delicious lunch with local Cantonese food. We also walked to the Big Buddha and shopped in very unique souvenir shops, recommended by our tour guide as well. Eva has years of experience in Hong Kong tours, she shared lots of interesting facts, and knew all the best photo spots. Highly recommend the tour and the guide!
