Pros: air-conditioned bus allowed us to visit more parts of the city than if walking.
Cons: Our guide was pretty grumpy, and she didn't provide much context for what we were seeing. For the price, they did not provide any water, and we even had to pay for water at dinner. And dinner was definitely not a Michelin restaurant: it was mediocre dim sum in a mall.

This was essentially our first trip to Hong Kong in July 2026. Traveled with my wife. Meeting point for the tour at the Admiralty shopping center in HK. The guide Ricky Yu was right on time. There was another couple signed up for the tour. The bus was air conditioned and large for the four of us. Departed right on time. No paperwork. The Tram to Victoria Point was exciting. Spectacular view. Our guide spoke perfect English and has been at this profession for over a decade. He was born and raised in Hong Kong. Ricky knew perfectly how to lead a tour making use of time in the bus to educate us each of the stops. When to slow down or speed up. We were on time for the schedule sites such as the Tram ascent and descent. We visit a former police station and prison. Traveled on the longest escalator. Ricky treated us to a delicious lunch at a Dim Sum restaurant in Kowloon. Ricky escorted us to places we wanted to visit not on the tour, Ricky concluded the tour in Kowloon shopping district approximately 5.5 hours..
Would recommend Ricky Yu and this tour with GL tour company.

The tour guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and really got to know the people of the group. There was more walking than expected. The sunset cruise was not sunset and lacked enough seating (upper deck was not open to us) and nothing more than a circle around the harbor. The tram ride was and visit to the peak was incredible.

If you want to see prison, prisoners’s cells and their toilets you must take this tour.
It does not give access to 428 area.
Specified tour time is wrong because it takes to a shopping mall and a restaurant.

It was well organized, and we got to see the highlights of Hong Kong easily and smoothly. Our guide was fantastic and shared information along the way. And the dim sum lunch was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour.

Shocked by the positive reviews because this was not a pleasant tour. The guide seemed mostly disinterested in the experience; he did not give us relevant historical inisights about the main attraction (Victoria Peak), and he skipped certain stops on the itinerary in order to make time for a visit to a silk shop where we endured several demonstrations about Hong Kong silk's durability. When we inquired about the changes to the itinerary, he dismissively said we have the old itinerary, a claim that lacks credibility because his changes are still not reflected in the current itinerary for this tour. There was also someone in the group with food allergies that were mentioned in her booking, but he had no interest in addressing her complaints. A very weird experience overall. Not worth the price.

I found it fascinating, especially the prison tour, the tram was unique when going up sit on the right side to me it looked like the homes were slanted 🤣. The view at the top is spectacular.

Dim sum tasting was very good. Would have liked more time at the peak and to have had the option to go to the observation deck. Would have also liked to have known ahead of time that we would not be finishing the tour anywhere near our pick up location.

A fine way to see a number of sights in Hong Kong. You could do this on your own but it would probably take two days instead of a long afternoon. Victoria Peak and the tram ride are not to be missed

We did not know that this group would be 33 people with 1 tour leader. Too many people for a walking/bus tour. Quide did the best he could. Several people kept group waiting. Also, we never go on tours that take you to a place that wants to sell you stuff, we wasted 40 minutes of time. I don’t need to know how silk blanket is made. Very disappointed. Lesson learned, always check for group size.

Jason was a great guide. Very friendly and fun. Restaurant was good but there was no indication of what each fish contained so if you had a food allergy it could have caused an issue. They should have a placemat type indicator of what each dim sum contained

Our tour guide Jason was great. Very polite, friendly and informative. He was very enthused about showing us his home city. We enjoyed the ride up the Peak, the harbor cruise and the dim sum dinner. The stop at the oriental Heritage museum/shop was interesting and we were glad they didn’t put pressure on us to buy their products. Nice afternoon spent in Hong Kong

The Dim Dum dinner was great for me but if you’ve not eat pork or are vegan it limits your experience. I would suggest letting Viator now ahead of time and maybe for those individuals there could be a substitute. Also we had to ask what was I. The dishes. There was nothing in the table or no one to tell you the name each dish served and if it was beef or pork. Some individuals do not eat pork and maybe chicken could be the substitute. They just out food on the table and no guide like a menu etc to let you know the name of the fis. Other than that it was great. Our tour guide was awesome.

The tour was wonderful. It was a great way to see the major highlights of Hong Kong when you have only one day in Hong Kong. The peak tram is a don't miss activity if you enjoy iconic views of Hong Kong. The price of the tour was very fair. Be sure to include the lunch with the tour. The food and restaurant used was outstanding.

Could have been some commentary on the bus as we were travelling from one destination to another. The escalator was just a couple of long travellators ( big whop) All in all very disappointed with my choice of this day trip

The whole trip experience was amazing except the Dimsum tasting. Nobody explained to us what kind of dimsum we’re eating. The server served us the dimsung one at a time, but didn’t explain to us what it is. Also, we had lunch late. We went to the shopping first before lunch and we had to wait for people who were buying stuff. My suggestion is to have lunch first and find out if people wanted to go to shopping place.
