This tour was so much fun! The terrain was great for ATV'g. The views of the City were phenomenal. The beach club we stopped at was beautiful and well-maintained. Chris, the owner and tour guide was awesome! He's funny, down to earth and very knowledgeable. We felt safe throughout the tour. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

I had an AMAZING time on the ATV tour with Craven Adventures on Isla Tierra Bomba! As a complete beginner who had never been on an ATV before, I was a bit hesitant, but the owner, Chris, made sure I felt confident from the very start.
Safety & Support:
Safety was clearly the top priority. Chris gave me ample time to practice before the tour began and even provided a dedicated guide to stay with me since I was riding at a slower pace than the rest of the group. I never felt rushed or pressured to keep up, which made the experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free.
The Experience:
The route through the island is beautiful, offering a side of the area you don't usually see. We ended the trip at Ancestral Lounge, a beach club with a fantastic vibe and the perfect place to unwind after the ride.
The Verdict:
Chris is personable, funny, and truly cares about his guests, making the whole day feel personal and fun. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is an 11. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone visiting Cartagena—even if you’re a total novice, this is the #1 experience to book. I can't wait to come back and ride with Chris/Craven Adventures again!

I had an amazing freaking time on this ATV excursion! It was the perfect mix of adventure and adrenaline, riding through cool trails and really enjoying the open ride. The tour guide was awesome, super helpful and made sure we were safe while still letting us have a blast. One of the best parts was the stop at the beach. It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect break during the ride. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip, don’t think twice, just book it!

Great fun! Chris the owner met us at beach and took us on his boat to the location. We rode over trails to the other side of the island to a beautiful beach club. The whole adventure was enjoyed by my whole family….

Such an amazing experience—we had so much fun! From the boat ride to the island to riding the ATVs, everything was unforgettable. Christopher was incredibly kind and made everything even better by speaking both English and Spanish. Highly recommend!

This tour was honestly so much fun. I went with my best friend on a bros trip and we had a great time from start to finish. The island they took us to was beautiful, and the whole off‑road trail was exactly what we wanted, bumpy, fast, dusty, all of it. I’d definitely recommend bringing sunscreen and glasses because depending on how fast you go, the dirt and wind hit you pretty hard. But honestly, that just made it even more fun for us! Our tour guide was amazing and made us feel like family the whole time. He helped us with everything and made sure we were good the entire ride. We loved every part of it, such a great experience!

If we were going again I would bring gifts such as crayons and costume jewelry and maybe small toys to hand out to the children you meet while passing through their village. Also small denominations of pesos to buy things from the locals. They were so sweet and so happy and grateful!

Your going to love it but you need to be a good driver because it's not for the wick. My tour guide Christopher was amazing. It was an amazing experience and I would do it again.

We really enjoyed our ATV experience with Christian and definitely recommend it. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time and had a lot of fun. Great mix of fast straight trails and rougher terrain, though all beginner friendly! Four stars because the tour ended 40 minutes prior to the end time and the team seemed very distracted - though from other reviews this seems like an anomaly. We also didn’t get the tour of the fort in Bocachica and other photo ops mentioned in the reviews.

This was so epic! Chris was such a good tour guide. The terrain was heavy but he still managed to let us mash the gas pedal. The tour started with a short boat ride which is scenic and prepares you for the fun. Halfway through the tour we stopped at a gorgeous beach for beers and shots to gather ourselves to mash the gas even more. Such an amazing ATV tour! Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed everything about our ATV experience. The boat ride to the island was nice (would have worn water shoes to make getting in and out of the water easier). Our guides were super friendly and gave us the right amount of instructions.

You get a little bit of history mixed with an ATV ride. My brother really wanted to do this for his birthday and he loved it. The guide helped to ensure that we were safe and made us feel comfortable and was a great informant and leader. Communication 10 out of 10.

The meet up location was easy to find. That’s where we met our guide Christopher. From there it was a quick boat ride to the ATV’s, on a small island near Cartagena. Christopher was experienced, knowledgeable and took us on a great tour with beautiful ocean views. Would definitely do again.

We had a fantastic ATV tour with Christopher. It was great to explore Tierra Bomba island by ATV, and we had a lot of fun driving all over the trails throughout the island. The conditions were little bit rough and muddy, but that added to the fun of the drive.
Something to note is that we wished we'd worn our water shoes (or sandals). The boat to the island departs from a sandy beach on the Cartagena side and you need to wade into a little bit of water to get into the boat.

Chris my guide was amazing he reach out to me while I was trying to find my way to him. The other tourist postpone their tour so I got a solo ride/tour of island boat ride was about 5-7 minutes to the Island. The ATV ride had a couple of stops and he give history of each stop. One’s a fishing post/doc and the other beautiful beach that’s much better than anything in the city. Has several beach clubs. The ride has different terrain and actually shares with locals. Chris started this business himself is black owned which a big plus for me if that matters to you. It shouldn’t but it made easier for me. Definitely would recommend and hope to come back.

My two friends and I had an exceptional experience on the Craven Adventures ATV tour in Cartagena. From the beginning, the communication and coordination were clear and professional, and all logistics — including transportation, safety instructions, and equipment — were handled smoothly. The tour itself was outstanding. The ATV route offered a perfect combination of adventure and scenic beauty, showcasing the natural landscapes and rural surroundings outside the city. Our guide was highly knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous, ensuring that the entire group felt supported regardless of experience level. It was clear that safety and guest enjoyment were top priorities, and the experience struck an ideal balance between excitement and responsible guidance. There is a short boat ride (about 7 minutes) to get to the island where you will ride.
This excursion was an excellent way to see a different side of Cartagena beyond the historic center. We appreciated the professionalism, hospitality, and high quality of service, and we thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a unique and memorable experience in Cartagena. We would gladly book with Craven Adventures again on a future visit.

This was a last minute tour for us as another one got cancelled. It wound up being a private tour as our group of 3 were the only ones on it. It was fun taking the boat from Cartagena over to the island. The ATV tour was great and lasted awhile. The surprise is when we came upon the fort and got a tour of it. I wish we would have had more time there. Also, I think the guide could have given us more of an overview of the island like what people do there, the history, etc. Overall though a really fun tour.

The half day tour was pretty good. We were able to ride around to four different villages on an isolated island from Cartagena. Christopher was very nice, professional and accommodating to make sure we were safe while riding and was able to provide some helpful translation with the locals. Be sure to have some shades with you because dirt/dust will fly! Be prepared to get dirty. Also, be prepared to ride on a boat to and from the isolated island. Have some cash to buy some souvenirs and tip the locals!

If you're looking for a very simple ATV ride then ln this is cool. Carlos, was a great host but the tour was very boring and bland. If, I had to say what the worst part was then that would be the actual tour stop. The tour guide was good but The begging is already so bad in Columbia We don't really want to deal with that on an ATV tour. The ATV tour never really opened up to any excitement just kind of slow and steady and following. If they can find a way to bring some actual excitement and a little speed to it that would be great. Can't say that I will really recommend it but if it's like your first ATV go around sure give it a shot. If you done it before this definitely isn't for you.
