This tour was so much fun! The terrain was great for ATV'g. The views of the City were phenomenal. The beach club we stopped at was beautiful and well-maintained. Chris, the owner and tour guide was awesome! He's funny, down to earth and very knowledgeable. We felt safe throughout the tour. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

We went on another ATV tour a few days before this one and it didn’t even compare to this one! Christopher was great and took us to many beautiful views. It was very fun and he takes you down some great trails. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Cartagena. Hoping to go back and do another tour with him tomorrow!
We had an adventurous ATV ride on Tierra Bomba with Craven Adventures. The guides were friendly, helpful and customized the ride to our level of experience. They made sure we enjoyed the excursion and I would recommend giving it a try!
Fun ride great host. Would definitely do it again when back in Cartagena. You need to be able to control the ATV the ride is tougher than it looks.

ONLY BOOK THIS ATV EXCURSION. If you were thinking about others, this is your sign to book this ATV experience with Christopher. It was my birthday trip and he made the experience a great time. He’s helpful, charismatic, and ensures you have a great time while also being safe. As for the start of the excursion, You’ll meet on the beach behind the hospital, and he’ll take you in a boat to the another island directly across for ATV riding. The boat ride is only about 5 minutes. Once on the other side you’ll get your safety gear (full helmet with strap), protective gear and your ATV. Heads up — The trail is not a flat surface all the way through — it definitely has bumps, ups, downs, hills and curves but that makes for a good experience. Ultimately, you end up at a nice, private-ish beach with nice views. You will get dusty and dirty, so you might want to bring an extra pair of clothes and shoes. I’d recommend closed toe shoes for the ATV experience and maybe sandals for the boat ride over as your feet will likely get wet. Christopher also has face masks for sale (~20 pesos) (they resemble Pooh shiesty masks). Overall, 10/10 experience.
Ended our anniversary vacation with an ATV tour through Craven Adventures, and it was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable trip! Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, our tour guide Chris made the entire experience amazing. His hospitality, along with the kindness and welcoming spirit of the locals, was truly unmatched.
The tour offered breathtaking views, exciting trails, and a relaxing beach stop that made it all worthwhile. Rain or shine, the experience was one to remember. If you're looking for adventure, beautiful scenery, and great people, I highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had an amazing time on this half-day ATV tour! The trails were fun and offered a great mix of scenery, adventure, and excitement without feeling rushed. The ATVs were in good condition, and the guides did an excellent job explaining everything, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe before heading out.
What really stood out was how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were. They kept the energy high, shared interesting information about the area, and made the experience enjoyable for riders of all skill levels. The route included some beautiful views and plenty of opportunities for photos along the way.
If you’re looking for a fun way to explore the area and add a little adventure to your trip, I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of my visit and I’d definitely do it again.
Chris has an interesting story in how he moved to Colombia and began his business. He has a really great thing going here. The day was seamless from getting picked up at the beach to dropped off directly at our hotel. They ensure your understanding of how to manage the ATVs with a test drive before getting out on the trails. He takes the lead and makes it very easy for the rider with stops along the way to ensure we are in proper gear to navigate terrain and so that he can tell us what to expect about what is coming up. We pass a variety of villages on the island. The views are spectacular. It is a fun ride through the hilly and desert terrain. We stopped at playa Linda which is a beautiful beach along the way where refreshments could be purchased. The ability to cross the inlet and see Cartagena from a distance is a special experience.

From the easy meeting point behind the hospital, the adventure starts with a captivating 10-minute boat ride over to Tierra Bomba Island. Everything was perfectly organized.
Christopher is an exceptional guide—funny and knowledgeable —and he made sure we felt safe before hitting the trails.
We were lucky to be the only ones on this tour. Since we have experience with the ATVs, he was comfortable letting us speed up a little bit on the open trails, which really added to the excitement.
The route is incredible, mixing fast beach stretches with rugged interior trails and even a stop in the town of Bocachica to meet locals. The views of the Cartagena skyline from the cliffs are phenomenal.
If you want a change of pace from the city madness, this is well worth the money!
Our tour guide, Christopher, was really good. And his name being the same as mine is a plus. He was really indepth on how to use the bike safely. Be sure to firmly grasp the handles and enjoy the drive.
I had an AMAZING time on the ATV tour with Craven Adventures on Isla Tierra Bomba! As a complete beginner who had never been on an ATV before, I was a bit hesitant, but the owner, Chris, made sure I felt confident from the very start.
Safety & Support:
Safety was clearly the top priority. Chris gave me ample time to practice before the tour began and even provided a dedicated guide to stay with me since I was riding at a slower pace than the rest of the group. I never felt rushed or pressured to keep up, which made the experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free.
The Experience:
The route through the island is beautiful, offering a side of the area you don't usually see. We ended the trip at Ancestral Lounge, a beach club with a fantastic vibe and the perfect place to unwind after the ride.
The Verdict:
Chris is personable, funny, and truly cares about his guests, making the whole day feel personal and fun. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is an 11. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone visiting Cartagena—even if you’re a total novice, this is the #1 experience to book. I can't wait to come back and ride with Chris/Craven Adventures again!
I had an amazing freaking time on this ATV excursion! It was the perfect mix of adventure and adrenaline, riding through cool trails and really enjoying the open ride. The tour guide was awesome, super helpful and made sure we were safe while still letting us have a blast. One of the best parts was the stop at the beach. It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect break during the ride. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip, don’t think twice, just book it!
Great fun! Chris the owner met us at beach and took us on his boat to the location. We rode over trails to the other side of the island to a beautiful beach club. The whole adventure was enjoyed by my whole family….
Christopher the owner was very nice and professional and guided us along the way he took us to a little island and we got massages and cocktails and got in the ocean to cool down if you thinking of doing a atv he's your guy the best in town
Such an amazing experience—we had so much fun! From the boat ride to the island to riding the ATVs, everything was unforgettable. Christopher was incredibly kind and made everything even better by speaking both English and Spanish. Highly recommend!
This tour was honestly so much fun. I went with my best friend on a bros trip and we had a great time from start to finish. The island they took us to was beautiful, and the whole off‑road trail was exactly what we wanted, bumpy, fast, dusty, all of it. I’d definitely recommend bringing sunscreen and glasses because depending on how fast you go, the dirt and wind hit you pretty hard. But honestly, that just made it even more fun for us! Our tour guide was amazing and made us feel like family the whole time. He helped us with everything and made sure we were good the entire ride. We loved every part of it, such a great experience!

If we were going again I would bring gifts such as crayons and costume jewelry and maybe small toys to hand out to the children you meet while passing through their village. Also small denominations of pesos to buy things from the locals. They were so sweet and so happy and grateful!

Your going to love it but you need to be a good driver because it's not for the wick. My tour guide Christopher was amazing. It was an amazing experience and I would do it again.
We really enjoyed our ATV experience with Christian and definitely recommend it. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time and had a lot of fun. Great mix of fast straight trails and rougher terrain, though all beginner friendly! Four stars because the tour ended 40 minutes prior to the end time and the team seemed very distracted - though from other reviews this seems like an anomaly. We also didn’t get the tour of the fort in Bocachica and other photo ops mentioned in the reviews.
This was so epic! Chris was such a good tour guide. The terrain was heavy but he still managed to let us mash the gas pedal. The tour started with a short boat ride which is scenic and prepares you for the fun. Halfway through the tour we stopped at a gorgeous beach for beers and shots to gather ourselves to mash the gas even more. Such an amazing ATV tour! Would highly recommend!
We enjoyed everything about our ATV experience. The boat ride to the island was nice (would have worn water shoes to make getting in and out of the water easier). Our guides were super friendly and gave us the right amount of instructions.
You get a little bit of history mixed with an ATV ride. My brother really wanted to do this for his birthday and he loved it. The guide helped to ensure that we were safe and made us feel comfortable and was a great informant and leader. Communication 10 out of 10.
The meet up location was easy to find. That’s where we met our guide Christopher. From there it was a quick boat ride to the ATV’s, on a small island near Cartagena. Christopher was experienced, knowledgeable and took us on a great tour with beautiful ocean views. Would definitely do again.
