Alvaro was a great tour guide!! He’s very passionate about his country and community and took us to all local spots for the best taste of Columbia! We left the food tour happy, full, and connected with the Cartagena community. Definitely come hungry and ready to eat and learn, 10/10 would recommend!!!

Nando was our guide and we loved the tour! All the food was good and we bought some coffee to take home at the last stop. Would recommend to anyone looking to try the local food in Cartagena.
My friend and I had a fun time tasting the foods of Colombia. David our tour guide made it even better experience with his sense of humor, very knowledgeable, and each stop was delicious. You can’t leave Cartagena without doing this one!
David was very knowledgeable and personable. The tour was very organized and learning about the cuisine of Cartagena was very interesting and delicious. They were very mindful of dietary restrictions/ allergies- and offered substitutes. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cartagena.
David was our tour guide and not only did he know about the different foods he gave us information on Columbia and Cartagena. I would highly recommend this tour and our tour guide David.

Great experience, guide was very knowledgeable about the foods and we tried a lot of different things.
An incredible food experience! We learned and tasted many various foods and learned about the history of each dish and how it related to the history of the area. Our guide Robert was fabulous, so knowledgeable, patient, great to be with. He made it a fun experience!!! Very highly recommend!!!!!
Liz is exceptional!!! I enjoyed this event the most on my trip, the food was great but the history along with Liz's personality really made Cartagena a must return for me.
I had an amazing street food tasting experience in Cartagena with Elio as my guide! He was incredibly friendly and welcoming right from the start. His knowledge about the local food is impressive, and he brings so much history to life, sharing fascinating stories about the city all along the way. I highly recommend taking a tour with Elio if you want to explore the real flavors and history of Cartagena.
The tour was great! Walking was not strenuous. And the samplings were generous. I feel like we got a good view of the city. It was a very good experience!
Karen was an excellent host and truly made our Cartagena food tour an amazing experience! All ten stops we visited were absolutely delicious, and I really appreciated how she took the time to recommend other places for us to visit and try during our stay.

Mercedes (and Felipe) was wonderful! We had lots of different amazing foods. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in eating delicious foods while learning about the the food.
The people in charge of the tour were very helpful with me finding the right spot to meet my guide. My guide made sure I was clear on how the experience would go and that I was having a good time. The food was amazing to try and I'm so glad I got that experience! I really enjoyed when I got the chance to talk with the local vendors (harder when they couldn't speak English). At the end, my guide helped me with some purchases and was very accommodating. I had a great time and recommended it to my friends!

It offers such a wide variety of tastings of local foods, as well as explanations of how they’re made along with a little history of the location. The guide was superb.

What a spectacular tour. Alvaro was amazing, kind, respectful and able to handle anything that came our way. He had a positive attitude even though he had to handle a rough situation that happened before the tour even started. Overall, we would do this tour over and over again and a large part of that is because of Alvaro. He was so amazing and helped my family from my 71 y/o Mother to my 8 y/o daughter. Do not eat beforehand and if it is around dinner no dinner necessary afterward. Also water and walking shoes.
I really enjoyed the food tour. We ate so much food and it was fun trying different things and exploring the neighborhood. We had plenty of street food options, sancocho in a restaurant, stopped at a chain Mr Bono, tasted a bunch of fruit at a fruit stand, and did a coffee tasting. Our guide, Hernando, had a lot of enthusiasm and encouraged us to take pictures. He also continuously offered hand sanitizer which I hadn’t experienced before and appreciated!
The tour guide, Alvaro, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and really explained the history and preparation of each of the foods we sampled. Each place he took us to was professional, clean, and had the food samples already prepared. He started the tour on time, maintained a good pace between the stops and ended on time. We had him for another tour of the Cartagena walled city two days ago, and he was just as good. Highly recommended!
We had a great time on this tour with Alvaro, in particular enjoying the fruits and extra information Alvaro gave as we explored the old town. Alvaro was mindful to keep us out of the heat and the tour helped us engage with the Cartagena vibe and mixture of cuisines.
We had a great time on the food tour with Robert today! Totally recommend. We ate great food at spots we’d never have the courage to go to alone, and learnt tonnes about the city itself. Robert was a fab guide, really calm and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone arriving in Cartagena.

Liz was an incredible guide for our street food tour in Cartagena! From the start, she and her assistant made sure our whole family was taken care of — they went out of their way to accommodate vegetarians and various dietary restrictions in our group without missing a beat. Their energy was contagious and they kept everyone engaged and having fun the entire tour. They were especially patient and warm with our kids, including our 10 year old, making sure he felt included and excited about every stop. Liz and her assistant turned what could’ve been a tricky group to guide (picky eaters, kids, dietary needs) into a seamless, joyful experience. Highly recommend requesting them if you’re booking this tour!

So yummy and fun to taste the local foods from local vendors. The patacones con queso were prob my fav!! Our tour guide Alvaro David was very knowledgeable and kind, would definitely reccomend!!
