Amazing
We had an amazing day, and the tour was very organized. Every detail was perfect. We stopped at some very beautiful places, and the timing on all of the stops was just perfect. I would recommend without hesitation. Our guide was Leis and we loved her.

Fast and fun
Really exciting. Got there a half hour early. And met our Tour Guide Jamie. Fantastic and polite young man. Who spoke good English. Had breakfast and lunch. Very good menu . Long day we'll worth it. The speed boat were very fast. So be prepared. Left on time and returned on time. Jamie really out did him self. Thanks again Viator. Great choice.

Great Cultural experience
Great tour. I did this during black history so it just felt so appropriate. Learned some different historical facts on the slave trade. Food served was good. Be prepared to be out the entire day. It’s very hot , some walking is involved. They provide you with water , fruit and lunch.

Bo Bomba Ta Bien — Palenque Experience
I visited Palenque solo and had an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the energy of the community was warm and welcoming. Walking through the streets and learning about the history of the first free African town in the Americas was powerful and humbling.
The culture here is vibrant, the people are proud of their heritage, and every corner tells a story. Hearing Palenquero spoken, seeing the traditions preserved, and understanding the resilience behind this place made the visit unforgettable.
If you’re in Cartagena, I highly recommend making the trip. Palenque isn’t just a destination — it’s an experience full of history

Wonderful High-Speed Boat!
The boat ride (sitting in the front three rows) was a wonderful water rollercoaster experience. Empty your bladder before boarding is a good idea. Prepare $20 for port fee.
The fried fish toward the end of tour (2pm) was nice. (Make sure that you have a good breakfast so that you can last until 2pm.)
Bring your own water.

Fun pirate ship sunset cruise
This was a really fun sunset cruise experience. The directions to the boat were very clear. We actually had to reschedule last minute due to travel delays and they were super accommodating. The boat itself is very nice and the pirate costumes make it fun. The crew were very friendly and took great pictures and videos for our group.

Volcán Totoumo
This was a once in a lifetime experience for sure. The rain fall made it difficult to climb and bystanders were slipping and falling. But it was a unique experience. Our guide explained very thoroughly how the tipping works and how the native people live off this. They ask for tip for everything it’s a overwhelming but understandable. Just be ready with cash.

Airport Transfer to Our Airbnb
Who knew Columbian immigration processing would take a couple of hours? Yulieth, our local coodinator. did! She texted us before our depsrture and stayed connected once we landed. Throughout the wait- she was patient, encouring, and reassuring-letting us know that everything was under control and that she'd be waiting right outside as soon as we cleared customs.

Experiencing Palengue
It was authentic and not overly touristy. The aim was to clearly share the Palenque culture in all its reality. The murals were beautiful.
The guide was informative, the entire community including the children and young adults were involved. While donations were welcome there was no pressure.
The lunch was delicious and was a fitting end to a very informative and interesting tour.

Great experience!
It was a nice experience. The tour guide and van driver were friendly. The beach was beautiful. I will complain, though, about the vendors. This has nothing to do with the company. The vendors are very aggressive and they don’t know personal space. They would come up to us and wouldn’t take no for an answer. They would drive their jet skis very close to us and we could smell the fumes. It was not a pleasant experience because the whole point was to relax. This one gentleman put an oyster in my husband’s hand, despite him telling him no, and then tried to charge him for it. So just beware. Other than that, the spot where we got to sit and eat at was super lovely. The owner was super friendly.
If you’re not used to poverty, be ready to see it when you walk to the beach. There are legit shacks, so be warned. The walk is a short walk, about 10 minutes max. There are rocks so be aware. Overall great experience and would recommend.

Great break from Cartagena
This is an extremely diverse tour with many different things to see. It is a very. long trip, so please be prepared for a 10-12 hour day. Having said that, it is very relaxing as you are just in the bus with several small stops. Not a ton of history, but just fun stops. It is a great break from the city if you want a break from the sun, beach, and Old City. If you only have 2-3 days in Cartagena, this may not be a priority, though we had 10 days so it was welcomed.
We were the only English speaking people on our tour, and our guide, Jhon Fredyz, took extreme care of the others, as well as us, to make sure we understood everything. Thank you Jhon, for being such a great tour guide!

There’s enough in Cartagena’s candy-colored Old Town to keep you wandering for days, but plenty more awaits outside the city’s 16th-century walls. The Colombian town is within easy reach of some epic attractions—ranging from dormant volcanoes filled with mineral-enriched mud to postcard-perfect islands fringed by white sand and lapped by the Caribbean Sea. So whether you want to sunbathe, snorkel, or smother yourself in silt, booking a Cartagena day trip will save you the hassle of arranging your own tickets and transfers, leaving you free to absorb the Colombian charm.
