This experience was amazing! The price was cost effective to get around to see parts of the city we wouldn’t have access to alone. We traveled with the transcaribe and were received at a host home in the community to meet the people and the true essence of Cartagena! I felt a genuine connection with the tour guides who love to celebrate their town and it’s people! If you are looking to get to know the culture of Cartagena, you must book with these hosts.

Thanks for everything! Spending the day with all of you in the Pozón neighborhood and my 45th birthday was great. Everyone must do this experience with @whereicomefromctg Bryan, Leo and Thomas, they are excellent hosts and will make you feel like one of their family. I am from Vietnam and getting to know this part of the city was the best part of my stay in Cartagena.

I really enjoyed the connection made as I learned about the previous struggles of the neighborhoods and how they have successfully transformed artistically and culturally today. This is my first time in Colombia and I was not ready for how much I'd fall in love with its people, tastes, smells, and sounds! This beautiful artistic cultural exchange and experience really left an impression on me that I won't soon forget. Our guide was exceptional, passionate and informative. The locals were warm and welcoming at every turn! I loved meeting knew people and learning the history of the city! This is perfect for solo travel as well as for a group. The city is colorful and filled with depth. This is the kind of experience I recommend to anyone visiting Colombia! I will be doing again when I return with friends!
