Ian was an enthusiastic guide and storyteller! I was hoping for more “dark stories”, but it was equal measure history as well.
Be prepared to do a lot of walking on cobblestones and up and down hills. Great way to get a sense of the city, but not great if you have bad knees (like me!).

It was really good we enjoyed it but it wasn’t about the dark side of Brussels. We were also disappointed at the end everyone had vouchers except us as they ran out. Informative and fun!

The guide was not able to be located, even after 25 minutes of looking. The square was packed, but I arrived 10 minutes early and left 15 minutes after tour was supposed to start.

What a wonderful way to learn about Bruxelles' art, culture & history from a local who's happy to take you off the beaten part. Den was very attentive and a very accomplished storyteller - I really felt I got to know this city in a fun and intimate fashion away from the hustle and bustle of daytime crowds (although some spots will obviously be more crowded than others). Tip: research you route to get to the starting point beforehand, as it will take longer than you think, especially if you are travelling by metro!

I received confirmation of tour and met the guide, but ... I just wasted the time to go for the meeting...
All info he gave was "go the beer museum to warm up as the tour will not take place if you are not at least 5pax. You are the only one here and I cancel the tour."
I have asked, ok please give me at least some directions and was abswered very rude " no directions, anyway we are not holding on to the plan as per advertise and adapt dependiong the participants"

Regime really enjoyed giving the dark side tour and his enthusiasm shown through in his presentation. It wasn’t all dark. He was very informative about the history of Brussels.

Tour was great. Sebastian was a great guide - he is very knowledgeable and entertaining too. Agree with others who have said it isn’t necessarily “dark” - more just a night history tour, but a great tour nonetheless.

I can’t remember our tour guides name I’m sorry! This was a good tour. Not the very best one I’ve ever been on but we enjoyed some of the darker stories of Brussels. The tour is free essentially just a small booking fee and whatever you feel they deserve as a tip. It was a good way to get out and see the city after dark.

This tour was not what I expected. The guide was very nice and very knowledgeable about Brussels and there were a couple of interesting stops but I think it is maybe just named incorrectly. A good way to see a bit of the city. More lesser known facts than dark side.

Good tour. Interesting. Had more to do with torture, murder, suicide, and punishment than the seedy side of Brussels, in case you were wondering. The tour guide was from Jamaica, which was a little surprising. His talk was very rehearsed and seemed to have been given more than a few times. Still, it was an interesting way to spend 1.5 hours in Brussels.

It's a mellow walking tour of the city's landmarks that may have lesser known dark pasts. Tour guide was knowledgable and laid back enough that it was fun to be around in general. I would do it again with friends.

Not a lot of “dark side” focus on this tour. Nonetheless, it was a helpful long walk through town exposing us to much of the city. Guide was polite & helpful but she has a quiet voice that was hard to hear at times.0

I normally wouldn't have chosen this tour, as I'm much more interested in 'traditional' history and sites, but this was the only one that fit in my schedule. David was a first class tour guide, and mixed the weird facts in very well. Was awesome to see parts of Brussels at dusk and early evening. The group was a pretty good size, but being a solo traveler wasn't a problem, and David did a great job of projecting and making sure everyone could be heard. The only thing I didn't like was that a lot of people didn't seem to give him a tip! This tour is 'free', but the guides depend on tips to make money off these, and David was such an excellent tour guide he definitely deserved a fair tip!

I didn’t find this tour very informative. The female tour guide, originally from America- DC, was very friendly but the stops on the tour lead much to be desired. I thought we were going to hit top spots but we did several stops that were not very interesting. It also would have been nice to learn some facts that included numbers / percentages. I wouldn’t recommend this tour

This is not a typical tour, I read the title quickly and thought it was a night time tour. The tour talks about the lesser known and somewhat unflattering history of Brussels. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging.

Best tour i've been on in Belgium. Rahiem, our jamaican guide was incredible. So friendly and knowledgeable. Truly wanting to TEACH people the history and you can tell they love their job!!! We need more people like this in this industry. Recommend for everyone. Worth the money.

This tour was brilliant! So much more than we even expected. Rahim was absolutely amazing and hilarious, and extremely informative. We learned some wonderful basic history of Brussels as well as learning the more disturbing history. A favorite highlight was le morelle and the original fortress wall.
