I could not find the gathering point and my map took me to a chocolate shop. I ended up going on my own but still got charged.

Francois was a great guide. We enjoyed learning history (including personal tie ins) with his stories and jokes while trying out some sweets. We would be happy to have him as a guide again in Brussels.

Sanja gave a quick chat about waffles and offered some great tastings - really delicious! Clemente did a great job of showing us around the city highlights, tasting chocolates and giving recommendations. We enjoyed it!

Fun and educational! Francois was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The waffles are delicious. Highly recommend!

This tour was a great introduction to some highlights of the city. The waffles, and chocolates that we sampled were from some of the finest shops in the area. Paul did a great job giving us a brief history of some of the city as well as some entertaining myths or legends.

This was a great tour that contained waffles, chocolate, and history. I liked that you got a little bit of each of those categories in the tour. Our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, which made the tour a lot of fun. I highly recommend making this part of your visit to Brussels.

The meeting place is where we all got to taste three different kinds of waffles. Two were made when we were there - so try to be early or on time. My tour guide Clemens was very knowledgeable and showed us many points of interest and provided his insights of the best chocolates. Every Mary is 2nd on his list - it is better than Neuhaus to my taste buds. I brought 5 pieces at Mary for 6 Euro and at Neuhaus it cost over 15 Euro and it tasted similar to Godiva. I was many tourists from USA - 5 groups from different states. You cannot take it with you so give a little love to make the world go round. You all are fortunate to travel and experience different places. Please tip your tour guide people!!!

Arrive around 15 minutes before your scheduled time event to enjoy the waffles at the beginning of the tour.

What a nice way to get a feel of the city and learning about the history and culture along the way. We started with waffles and made our way around the city with more sweets in between. Our guide was very friendly and attentive to the group.

The chocolate samples were amazing. Our guide, Clements, led a very interesting and entertaining tour.

We loved the stroll and stories of Brussels. Clemens was a knowledgeable tour guide bringing humor to the walking tour. He answered any and all of our questions. His recommendations were spot on regarding beer and food. The waffle demonstration and chocolate tasting were the perfect way to start our visit to Brussels. Thank you.

This walking tour was a great introduction to Brussells. We started with HOMEMADE waffles, not at a typical store, and learning about the history of the waffle. Then, Paul took us through Brussels by foot to see and learn about Brussels history. We had Belgium cookies, bread, and chocolate. It was a great afternoon.

Sarah was a terrific guide with great information. She even had little cookies and things in her bag for us to try that paired with the things we were seeing and hearing. The waffles at Waffle House were amazing and I loved hearing the history of the waffle. Same for when we visited Mary’s Chocolates. The history was interesting but the chocolates were WOW! I even retraced my steps after the tour to buy some of the chocolates to take home.

The tour was wonderful! The pacing was perfect and Lou was very knowledgeable of history and Belgian culture making it a truly enjoyable experience. The waffles and coffee, followed by well-timed break for sweets only added to the excellent walk😄

Amazing tour from start to finish! I expected only a waffle and chocolate tour, but it also included other interesting stops and excellent storytelling. The sweet treats at the end were the perfect finish. Highly recommend!

A fantastic tour! You learn so much about Brussels and get tips of where to go and what to do in your time in the city. The samples of sweet treats included are so tasty too. The tour guides are lovely and so knowledgable. Would highly recommend.

Excellent tour with historical history and the tasting of waffles, chocolate, and cookie was so good. Our guide was very knowledgeable

The thumbnail on this tour is a little misleading. To be clear the tour never says it’s a mix of a food tour and a walking tour. It says it’s a walking tour with “tastings”. You start out as you’re waiting for everyone to come with fresh made waffles and coffee and tea which is fantastic. Fill up on this because these are the waffles on the tour and you won’t get another snack for an hour and a half. You get two pieces of very good chocolate, then a biscuit then a bread/pastry. The biscuit and the pastry our guide had in his tote bag but the chocolate we stopped at a chocolate shop. Based on the image of this tour, I thought we would stop at another waffle place. I didn’t realize those beginning waffles when we were waiting for people to come in the tour to start was it. The tour is long. It went for three hours and Brussels is not that big. Our guide was nice. I just expected another waffle during our walking tour like in the photo.

Ian our guide was great! I thought this was gonna lean more into food, but pleasantly it was a city tour with fancy snacks, even my 12yr old who likes nothing enjoyed the tour and the guide! If you are reading this then book the tour!!

Well worth the experience, the waffle tasting and history of before was brilliant. Ian, the Irish guide was fantastic, funny and very informative. Well worth it.

Its a great way to start your trip in Brussels. It is highly informative. Our tour guide is very friendly and funny; and even gave suggestions on places to see and restaurants to try. Price is okay. You get to try two different types of waffles, chocolates and cookies. Highly recommended!

We had a great time on this tour! Ian was a lot of fun and had great stories. We learned about the history of waffles and chocolate and about the amazing buildings in the Grand Place. He also showed us some other interesting things we might not have noticed or visited My daughter (10) and I loved it!

Sarah was a fantastic guide. Learned a ton of interesting history and was introduced to one of the best chocolate shops where we got chocolate samples. The waffle tasting at the beginning was also amazing with interesting history of waffles! Super fun way to tour the city.

The tour is excellent. The waffles (made by Guillaume) were the best I have ever had and the guide (Ian) was very good. I didn't know Brussels has such an interesting history.
