Clemens gave us a very good overview of the History of both Belgium and Brussels. The architecture of Brussels is amazing and his ability to point out the unique characteristics was very interesting. The chocolate stop pointed out the reasons why Belgium’s top shops are the best in the world. Who knew Belgian waffles could be so interesting and so good

Very informative and well planned walking tour. Guide provided details for all major sites as well as tidbits of local color. Waffle, chocolate and cookie tastings were yummy. Great way to get an overview of Brussels!

The tour was great! There were several food tastings included plus their history and relation to Brussels and Belgium. Also lots of general Belgium and Brussels history. This is a good first tour of the central area of Brussels. Our waffle expert made wonderful fresh waffles while explaining their history in Belgium. Our walking guide, Ian, was really great! We loved his Irish storytelling, his brogue, and all the little snippets of information he added in to the regular tour. Our tour took 3.5 hours.

Come hungry. The waffles are plentiful and delicious. We then enjoyed chocolate and other Belgium treats. Our tour guide was great and made sure everyone could hear. The content of her was interesting and informative. Everyone enjoyed the experience.

Very delightful experience highlighting famous landmarks in Brussels. Klemens was clever and humorous with sharing his knowledge about the city and food, made it so memorable and interesting. Waffles at the Waffle Heritage was the best one I’ve tried.

Fantastic tour! We enjoyed learning about and tasting the delicious waffles and high quality chocolate. The walking tour was great and our guide Clements was excellent. He provided a lot of info and details and encouraged us to ask questions and to mingle with other guests in the tour. We have been on a lot of walking tours when travelling and this is one of the best! Clements is top-notch guide!

This is one of the best tours that I’ve done through viator! The waffles that we had in the beginning were freshly-made and delicious! Next, Sara took us on a tour of the city. She was fantastic! Sweet and funny but also had great information! She also fed us amazing chocolates, Greek bread and spiced cookies! Would 100% recommend!

The meeting point was changed and, although a text was sent 2 hours before, because of sketchy internet service, we didn’t receive it on time. We waited at the meeting point and finally called. No answer. They then called back and told us the meeting point was a 10 minute walk from the original meeting location, causing us to miss the waffle tasting portion of the tour. The gentleman who conducted the tasting portion blamed Viatour. The woman who conducted the historical walking tour was excellent!

First, given the wrong address for meeting point. We were told it was Viator who has the wrong address on the website. Second, the guide does not use a listening device and there were other tour groups in the area so we struggled to hear. Left the group about half way through.

Clement was lovely, he was friendly and welcoming. Shared a lot of knowledge about the city’s history and answers all questions including best spots for chocolate or traditional dishes!! The tour was definitely worth it!!

This is a fabulous tour covering all the highlights you should see in Brussels. Our guide Lou was both knowledgeable and fun and the waffles, praline and other treats were delicious . Best walking tour so far.

The tour started at a waffle house and many of us had a hard time finding it. The waffles were made fresh and they were very good. The chocolate aspect of the tour was disappointing. We only got two, small pieces of chocolate at one store. The historical walking tour was good.

Ian was a very good guide. He was knowledgeable about the city. We was also a great story teller. It a delicious tour as well tasting waffles made right in front of us. As well as getting to taste and learn about Belgian chocolate.

Do not book this tour!!! I usually had good experience with the Viator and have been booking tours with Viator over years. But with this tour, the tour company changed the meeting place 30 minutes before the tour started. As I was already at the meeting place waiting to meet them, I didn’t receive the message as I didn’t have WiFi. And I was not able to take the tour as they changed the meeting place last minute. I was very disappointed and had ruined my travel plan for the day. I had contacted the Viator customer service for refund, but still haven’t received any follow up response. Again, I can’t express enough how disappointed I am as I had book these tours months in advance.

The tour started with freshly made waffles, coffee and the history of waffles. Ian our tour guide then took us all around the city. There was a stop at Mary’s chocolates where we tasted 2 types of chocolate which was delicious! We also had 2 other tastings with the associated history of each. You will love this walking historical tour!

Ian our Irish guide was funny & informative! Gave us lots of stories about the history of Brussels. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour & tasty waffles & good quality chocolate tasting from Mary’s in the Grand Place . We got a good bird’s eye view of Brussels.

Learning about the history of waffles and the different types of waffles was fun. Enjoyed walking the city, enjoying the sites and some delicious chocolate, too. Very good experience. The only very minor complaint was the change to the starting location. It was had to find in an unmarked shop.

The experience kicked off with the irresistible aroma of freshly made Belgian waffles, setting the tone right away. We got to taste them while learning about the cooking process and what makes each batter style unique. Coffee or tea was included, which paired perfectly with the warm waffles.
From there, the tour continued through the city with stops for chocolate tastings along the way. Between bites, the guide shared engaging historical stories that made the experience feel both fun and informative. Definitely arrive with an appetite—you’ll be glad you did.

. The group was greeted to the smell of Belgium waffles being prepared. We sampled the waffles as we listened and learned about the cooking process and difference between different types of batter freshly brewed coffee or tea was included. The group then went on the walking tour stopping for chocolate tasting as we heard interesting historical stories. Come hungry to this tour!
