We thoroughly enjoyed our experience; from the comfortable bus rides to the walking tour, the tastings and the free time in between. Bruges is a beautiful city and perfect to stroll around in and learn about the history and the fun stuff. Peter was an excellent guide and the entire tour crew was very professional.

Itinerary

Meet your guide outside Brussels Central Station and board your comfortable coach. It’s about a 1.5-hour ride to Bruges and there’s time for a bathroom break on arrival before your guided tour begins.

Your sightseeing tour of Bruges’ Old Town includes some of the top photo spots, bridges, churches, squares, and lakes—as well as an artisan chocolate tasting at a certified artisan chocolate shop. Depending on pace, your tour lasts around 1.5 hours, and finishes at Bruges’ Market Square, the city’s main square.

Your guide gives you some tips on where to eat and reminds you of when and where you need to meet the bus, and then you’re free to explore. Depending on traffic and how long you spent on the tour, expect to have around 4 hours for lunch and independent exploration. Finally, it’s back on the bus, which drops you a 5-minute walk from where you began.

Bruges is a treasure from the middle ages, beautifully preserved. Our guide JC from Buendias, was excellent. He shared his knowledge of Brussels, Bruges and Belgium in general with enthusiasm and encouraged questions from the group. His recommendations for lunch were spot-on, and he took our family photograph in a very scenic site, which turned out great. We all had a wonderful day (3 generations). We highly recommend this tour and guide and would take another tour with this company.

Wonderful day trip to Bruges

Kimberly_S, May 2026
Very good overview of Bruges with time to do individual experiences. The guide gave us great tips. We wound up doing the canal ride and tower climb and had a great typical Flemish meal.

Great but long tour!

Donald_C, May 2026
Great tour and Antonio was very informative. Bruges is a beautiful city and a must see. The 4 hours of time to visit the city on our own may be fine for some people but seemed a little too long for us and another couple we spoke with. We did enjoy waffles at Otto Waffle Atelier and Bruges Dot beer at the De Halve Mann Brewery. It is the oldest brewery in Bruges. A map would have been helpful with clear directions on how to get back to the meeting point since it is easy to get lost. All in all, we enjoyed the tour very much.

Mark your start/meeting place in Google map to guide you back from city center. It will take 20 to 30 minutes if you are not loss.

Basically, just a bus ride to and from

John_C, May 2026
It was basically just a bus ride to Burges and back… Our tour guy, who was nice, only gave us about an hour tour… We really didn’t learn that much about the city… It would’ve been much cheaper just to take a bus and tour on our own…

Exciting day at Brugge

Fun with gastronomic discoveries. A lot of walking. Knowledgeable and helpful Jorge! Time well managed.

The tour itself was about...

Michelle_G, Apr 2026
The tour itself was about 2 hours long with our guide Julien who was very knowledgeable and friendly. We then had about 4 hours of free time to ourselves which was the main reason I chose this tour over others. We were able to hit all the spots we wanted to go to before meeting back at the bus. A friend of mine described Bruges as the Disneyland of Europe and I’d say I’d agree. It is VERY crowded and things are more expensive than Brussels so keep that in mind for what you plan to do. We did not do the boat ride but others in our group did and seemed to have enjoyed it.

Bruges tour from Brussels

It is a well thought out itenarary with lots of free time . The city itself is very medieval in character. Diego the tour guide provides lots of information and was very po

Absolutely Wonderful

Ankeet_S, Apr 2026
Wonderful wonderful experience.. right from start to finish they were perfect and in the end Harris and Angie who were our guides even took us to the Atomium as a surprise. Please go with these guys if you want to do Bruges.

City is beautiful. Excess travel time not communicated

Kirsten_T, Apr 2026
The weather was absolutely perfect. Not a cloud in the sky and 20 Celsius. Unfortunately our bus had to stop to drop a tour group off in Gent and then later to pick them up on the way back to Brussels. As a result of traffic this added about 1.5 hours to our time in the bus. No additional information was provided in this time. No noteworthy sites were on the detour. While there can always be delays, this was a „planned“ delay not communicated in advance which cut into our evening schedule. Our guides English could have been better. The city itself is absolutely beautiful and worth a visit!

Bruges is beautiful but...

CJ_Y, Apr 2026
Bruges is beautiful but we felt that the time allocated was a bit long…could be shortened by at least 30 mins if not more.

Good value tour

Raymundo_A, Apr 2026
This was a great way to spend a day from Brussels. Pablo was a great guide, but the tour organization could have been better. Combining the different Bruges and Ghent tours in a single bus created unnecessary confusion and added extra driving time.

Beautiful day in Bruges

Kay_K, Apr 2026
A very nice day, with a knowledgeable guide in Pablo. I loved Bruges, the boat ride is a must! There was an issue with a bus so our day was longer by a couple of hours otherwise all good.

Bruges visit

Shamsi_T, Apr 2026
After 2 hours showing the Bruges, the tour guide asked us to go to meeting point & wait for the rest! We waited for 3 hours for him to show up. The bus deriver did not allow us to get into the bus. Until he shows. The waiting time was long & extremely cold! It suddenly got cold & unbearable.

Great day trip for the price

Natalia_G, Apr 2026
I love a good day trip and this one did not disappoint. Antonio our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city as well as Belgium in general. We got lots of side history lessons which were very interesting. The city itself was very quaint in some areas with lots of small chocolate shops and other artisan stores, and more modern than others (e.g shopping district) but all set in historic buildings. There were lots of things to see and explore. I love that we got a guided tour and then we’re able to spend several hours on our own exploring. I would say if I could do it again I would spend more time in the section that had the smaller artisan shops and less time walking around the section that had more modern stores (eg like stores you would find in a mall). There are several spots that are very pretty for pictures, and several quiet spots to sit if you want to slow down a bit. We left and returned to the city on time (there was no traffic on our experience day Saturday, so that might differ on other days potentially). For the price is experience was above and beyond.

Great day out in Bruges

Lauren_P, Apr 2026
Very easy to book with clear instructions for the meeting point. Big area for meeting the guides with a short walk to the coach. Easy journey with lots of information shared. Sabina was a great tour guide for the whole day and provided us with lots of tips, including places to eat in Bruges.

Trip to Bruges

Niharika_V, Mar 2026
Good experience overall. You have free time for yourself but there's a bit of guided part as well. You can go for it if you want as transportation is included.

Enchanting, historic Bruges, a must!

A delightful introduction to Bruges!

Marshall_G, Mar 2026
An easy way to go from Brussels to Bruges, get a quick overview of the city with lots of free time to explore further and have a nice lunch. The only negative was that on the bus our English language tour was combined with a Spanish language group which required back and forth commentary as we drove to and from Bruges. In town, the two groups separated. I understand that in a shoulder season like this that was necessary from an economic perspective, so not a big deal. The guides were friendly and helpful.

Horrible

Maria_K, Mar 2026
The worst experience our guide gave us wrong info about the pick up point on our return and he left us in Brugge with no way of contacting him or the company We had to take a train back to Brussels!!!! Unheard of

Good relaxed trip

Caroline_M, Mar 2026
We went on this trip because we thought it was easier to get to Bruges by a tour instead of trying to go by train and we were unable to use the ticket machine. We were in a small group and shared a coach with Spanish speaking passengers Virginia who was our tour guide spoke about places of interest on the way. At our arrival in Bruges we had a comfort break before our walking tour. We were given an itinerary beforehand and we were taking to the places by Virginia who gave us information and the history of the points of interest. As the group was small it was slow placed and we could hear what Virginia said. Virginia was knowledgeable, polite and helpful. We would recommend a boat trip. There are so many shops especially chocolate shops. You need to look at a few shops to see which ones has the best prices as some are expensive. Some restaurants are expensive too so shop around. We found a restaurant that had the Beef stew on special offer. The last stop we was taken to was a chocolate shop but this one was owned by a lady who has been established for years and has quality chocolates. It was a good way of visiting Bruges without the fuss of finding your own way there

Great trip

Really got to experience Bruges. My guide,Virginia, was great. She even walked me part way back to my hotel upon return to Brussels

We thought our tour guide Peter truly exceeded expectations and made the trip so fun and so engaging. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Bruges and Belgium in general, and he was so warm and thoughtful throughout. He even put together a scavenger hunt for us to enjoy, which made the experience even more memorable. He’s fantastic at what he does - a complete natural!!

A beautiful peace of fairytail city

Lydia_S, Jan 2026
Brugge is a pretty little town, i will absolutely back. This trip was well organised, centralized meeting points. Pablo make the trip even better with his knowledge and jokes! He is attentive. Worth of money.

One town is enough, nice relax experience.

kenWenbin_X, Jan 2026
Great nice pace. Glad we did this on town only, it's a hugh town, we barely have enough time for relax lunch and walk around. If doing two towns, you will be very rush. I'm not recommended. It should give one town per day.

Horrible
