This was an interesting tour in a very beautiful place. The traffic made for a very long day but it’s a small price to pay to visit such a nice venue. The tour guide , Veronica, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to take another tour of this kind again. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

It was a whole day 12 hour guided bus tour to Dinant & Luxembourg. The bus was very comfortable with only about 22 or so travellers & we left Brussels on time . Ariane our Chilean guide gave us interesting information on the bus & whilst walking around Dinant & Luxembourg. Dinant is a small town full of historical buildings & history & pretty with the Meuse river running through it. Luxembourg has a mix of old historical beautiful buildings & a few new ones. Enjoyed the walking tour through this independent sovereign principality. It was cold & drizzly towards the end so would have preferred if we headed back by 4pm rather than 5pm back to Brussels. Traffic was heavy too when returning so didn’t get back to Brussels till 8.30 pm . Overall an enjoyable day

Tour was good. A good way to see Luxembourg and Dinant. Tour guide was relatable and knowledgable. The pace was good for people of all ages.
Cassandra_M, Apr 2026
We enjoyed visiting Dinant and Luxembourg. Both were so stunningly beautiful that we want to visit them again and spend more time in each. Arianne was extremely knowledgeable about both locations and made the history of each city so intriguing that we wanted to learn more. She also made wonderful recommendations about activities and meals in each location. Ben was an excellent driver and made the journey nice and smooth.

Dinant was perfect and Luxembourg was gorgeous. However, too much bus time for the tour. A shorter stop in Luxembourg and add in stops to 2 or 3 small villages would be interesting.
Karen_B, Mar 2026
It’s a full day plan on 12 hours. Arian, the guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Sam, the driver was wonderful. They were a great team.

It would be better to just travel to Luxembourg yourself than to spend the money on the tour. The guide didn’t give much information about anything at all. There is only one stop on the way there where a little information is given on that city. Other than that the ride is silent. They don’t give any information or tour as the bus is driving, or tell you to look out the window to see any sights. Basically it’s an expensive ride to Luxembourg with no tour aspects to it. Just take a train so you can spend more time there and save money.

It was. not an English speaking tour. It was Spanish speaking principally with verbal English subtitles addressed to "group".Several Spanish tour members just talked throughout the English parts making it even harder to understand

We only had a weekend to do Belgian and Luxembourg and this trip made see both so much easier. We were able to stay in Brussels and not worry about finding a new place in Luxembourg to stay. It was an easy day and we saw so much!

This tour was great! The guide was very knowledgeable and the towns were charming. Great food in Luxembourg!!
Bev_F, Feb 2026
The weather was not in our favour however our guide did her best to make the most of our two stops on this day trip. Learned so much fascinating history, saw great architecture and experienced some of the culture in Luxembourg
Simon_B, Feb 2026
Our guide was very informative and professional. She gave each bit of information on way to dinant and luxembourg In English, then repeated in Spanish.
With some tales and modern history of the grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the impact of war on Dinant; while interesting seemed very textbook and scripted. This did not feel engaging or personalised.
Went on a Wednesday and the stop off at Dinant was somewhat dissapointing as most of the shops were closed.
The walking tour in Luxembourg city was, again, informative but as it was dual language It felt like only "half a tour". I felt the guide didn't incorporate any humour or personality into what she was saying.
I would not reccomend this tour as i struggled to find interesting things to do In both places (other than the cathedrals to look round). Despite being handed a tourist map of the city on the coach.
At the start of the tour of Luxembourg the guide made a reccomendation to see the caves/ underground tunnels of Luxembourg city but last entrance was within am hour of our arrival. And not anting to miss the guided tour element I decided to continue onward (perhaps this was a mistake).

Female guide gave a nice historical overview of Dinant and Luxembourg. Worth visiting with less crowds. I recommend this tour company!
Danica_M, Jan 2026
I had done a tour the day before that was also delivered in both English and Spanish, and on that one it became quite tedious and felt like it dragged on. Surprisingly, that wasn’t an issue at all on this tour. The guide was absolutely lovely and very informative, and she handled both languages really smoothly. She kept everyone engaged, and the transitions between English and Spanish felt natural and efficient. She was also very clear and transparent with her instructions and information. Overall, it felt well organized, enjoyable, and much more dynamic.
One thing to keep in mind: it’s a long day. The drive to Luxembourg is broken up by the stop in Dinant, which helps, but the drive back to Brussels is almost three hours. They do offer a stop for a toilet break, which was appreciated.

This was a wonderful experience! Our tour guide created a fun, exciting, and enjoyable environment. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a taste of Dinant and Luxembourg!
john_v, Jan 2026
The all day journey begins with a stop in Dinant. You have an hour of free time after a brief explanation to explore - visit Trombone museum and take pictures. Another picturesque city. Then another 2 hours to Luxembourg - you have around 3 hours there minus a one hour tour. Lunch is part of the two hours of free time. Charming walkable city to stroll down the streets. The guide was extremely informative and told a lot. She explained in detail in both English and Spanish - This added to the walk by extending because of both languages, but was not a problem. While informative, the guide was robotic - lacked emotion. I enjoyed the information, but the personality was just not there. We returned to Brussels in the evening around 730.
One small note, be on time - the bus left exactly as the clocked turned. In DInat, she left someone who we never saw again.

Bus was very crowded and tour that was to be in English was actually in Spanish and English and made explanations confusing. The long bus ride left time to see Luxembourg City or Luxembourg very well.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Dear customer,
Thank you for your feedback. Please note that our tour is clearly advertised as possibly bilingual, which allows us to accommodate guests from different language backgrounds. We understand this may have made some explanations feel confusing.
Regarding the bus, it was particularly full as this was peak Christmas season, when many travelers join our tours.
Best regards,

The experience was very pleasant. The first village Dinant is small but beautiful, the time you spend there is short, so if you decide to go to the citadel, do not waste a minute because the funicular does not work and the steps are more than 400. It's hard, if you think you won't be able to climb all the way fast, you better use that time to visit other places in the city.
Luxembourg is very beautiful, it is very worthwhile. We chose a place to eat but the service was very slow which made us waste a lot of time, I recommend taking bites from the kiosks on the street and continuing to walk to see the most.
Our guide Veronica was excellent. She gave us a lot of information, and she was very nice and professional. The driver was very skilled at driving the bus, we felt safe at all times. Day Trip 100% recommended .
Janeille_Z, Dec 2025
Our guide was very informative and gave us the history of different locations. We went during Christmas and were able to catch the Christmas market in Luxembourg! It was just the right amount of time to explore the city.
Jennifer_M, Dec 2025
A waste of time and little value for money. The stop in Dinant left us with nothing to do because the fort (or maybe the lift - it was not clear) was closed for repairs. Which the tour company didn't notify us of ahead of time. We had about an hour to waste there. The saxophone museum was open but was approx the size of my living room (maybe smaller) and took maybe 5 minutes to go through. We got to Luxemburg and were given an hour to waste before the walking tour started. Our tour guide had recommended we see the underground tunnels after the walking tour. The walking tour was terrible. We went by a museum of archeology and the palace with no option to go in with the guide or on our own. The guide pointed a few things out but didn't seem to have any interesting stories. A few times he said that he could explain the history but it was too complicated. When the walking tour was done, we went to get to tickets for the tunnels and they were closed for the day. We did two day trips with this company in Belgium and both were terrible. They left us with the perception that there is nothing interesting Belgium or Luxembourg have to offer - which I am sure is not the case. Was a total waste of money - but more importantly this is time we will never get back. My son and I travel frequently and use many Viator tours which are normally very good.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Dear customer,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. Please note that some closures, like the Dinant fort or the Luxembourg tunnels, are beyond our control. Our guides always aim to provide informative commentary within the time available, but walking tours are designed as overviews rather than in-depth visits to every site.
We appreciate your comments and will continue working to improve the experience for all guests.

It was great but the bus was uncomfortable and there was not s lot of leg room. the seats did not sit high so my back and neck were killing me by the end of the day. The tour guide and driver were great. Felt very rushed in dinant.
Veronica_B, Dec 2025
I wish the tour guide would've given info about Dinant and Luxembourg while on the bus since the time spent in each city was not that long. The stop in Dinant was so short that I would've liked the info in advance and then just walked around the town on my own. The tour left maybe 20 minutes of free time, which wasn't really long enough to sit in a cafe and order some drinks/food. When we got to Luxembourg, we didn't bother with the tour and opted to walk around the city on our own since we only had a total of three hours in the city. Or it would've been better if there were separate guides for separate languages. The tours would've been faster if the guide didn't have to do to them in two languages.
Wendy_B, Dec 2025
It’s a lot of time (6 hrs) on the bus and if you don’t get there super early and want to sit together..you have to take back seats which are 3/4 size of all other seats and very cramped and uncomfortable. It felt like a long plane trip. The staff were nice but what we saw was not spectacular enough to warrant the 6 plus hours of travel. Save your $$$ and enjoy something closer.
Jayesh_T, Dec 2025
Expect a long day. As the drive to Luxembourg from Brussels is long, with a pit stop in Dinant which is nice. Not a lot to see in Dinant so the hour we got to explore the city was sufficient. The walking tour upon arrival at Luxembourg city was nice and allowed me to get acquainted with the city layout and learn about the history of the city. Love the tour guide as she was super nice and informative. Would have liked some more time in Luxembourg city but the 2.5 hours of free time we had did give me time to see and do cool stuff by myself. Expect to arrive back in the city for around 8pm if there is no traffic.
Theresa_L, Dec 2025
It was a good day but felt the walking tour of Luxembourg was rushed and the guide did not stop at the sites described long enough to appreciate them. We had time for a quick picture but not time to take anything in.
olgasino, Dec 2025
This tour was wonderful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I booked this tour last minute because a different company canceled my reservation so I didn’t know what to expect but it was great! It’s worth it!
Elisabeth_K, Nov 2025
Paolo was an amazing guide. He effortlessly switched between Spanish and English to accommodate everyone. He provided so much information about the places we visited. He was very funny and provided great tips on what to do in our free time. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a long but great day.
davsueinc, Nov 2025
Worth spending all day outside of Brussels, especially in Luxembourg. Our guide was hilarious that it made the whole experience more enjoyable.
Samuel_R, Nov 2025
Luxembourg Is a nice country. Things are expense. The weather was nice so walking was not an issue. Lots restaurants and shops.
Jovitab_S, Nov 2025
