We loved this tour to a charming little town in the French countryside, including a visit to L’église Saint-Louis, as well as to the beautiful country of Andorra, in Andorra la Vella. Although it’s a 12-hour tour, the frequent stops made the day feel relaxed and enjoyable, and the time passed quickly. I highly recommend visiting between April 24 and May 3. The weather was perfect—sunny, with a refreshing breeze coming down from the mountain peaks. It truly felt like a dream. Our tour guide, Laura, was patient, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She did an exceptional job guiding us in both Spanish and English. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Laura as a guide.

Monserrat is beautiful....
Monserrat is beautiful. This tour included transportation there and a short tour. We chose the option that included the Black Madonna. We had some free time to take the funicular to the top and walk around a little bit. Tour came back to Barcelona early afternoon. Beware, the pickup in the morning is outside of the train station. We were waiting inside and almost missed the tour.

A Tour not to be missed!
This was one of the best tours I have taken in Barcelona. A must do! The towns we visited were all charming & each very different. Especially enjoyed the suspension bridge in Rupit. Alex, our guide, was the best! He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the places we visited. However, he also made the bus ride, incredibly interesting and informative as he explained a lot about the history of Spain, both in ancient times and in modern day. This made the time aboard the bus go quickly. His recommendations for things to see and do in each town was spot on. Including his recommendations for bakeries and shops to purchase cheeses & other local products.

Montserrat and Cogwheel with Wine Tasting & Lunch
Meet up location was as described. Laia was our guide for the day and she was amazing!! Not only did she take us to Montserrat but she also provided our wine tasting tour as well. I have never experienced a tour where the guide provided the entire tour themselves, usually there is someone else that would provided the wine tasting. Not today, Laia multitasked and did all, and did it very well.

While Barcelona has a ton to see and do within its city limits, there's plenty to do within day-tripping distance of the Catalan city. The Montserrat range is among the most popular Barcelona day trips, owing to its beautiful rock formations and historic basilica. Another popular option is the Costa Brava, known for its compact fishing villages and sea views. Guided day tours from Barcelona frequently combine Costa Brava time with a visit to nearby Girona, a medieval settlement with a gorgeous cathedral and cobblestoned streets.
