A fun activity and great way to spend the day away from the city! Tom was a great guide - patient and fun. Bring sunscreen and your spirit of adventure!
A really fun and unique way to see the coast and enjoy a new beach outside the city. JB was awesome and gave us some great recommendations.
This is a very fun day-trip activity from Barcelona. Costa Brava was gorgeous. We did kayaking, snorkeling, and cliff jumping, and then spent about 1.5 hours just enjoying the beach. Marcos, our guide, was accommodating and knowledgeable of the surrounding.
The guide was great however I would haveNEVER booked this if I had known it was a 3 mile kayak paddle with snorkeling in 3-4 foot waves and maneuvering in and out of a kayak to snorkel
You folks should be ashamed of yourself

We’re genuinely sorry that you didn’t enjoy the experience, but we think calling this an excursion “only for Olympians” gives a very misleading impression of the tour.
We’ve been running this excursion for 17 years and around 10,000 people join us every year, the vast majority of whom have never kayaked before. That would be an extraordinary number of Olympians!
The reality is that this is a sea kayaking and snorkelling adventure, something that is clearly explained throughout the tour description. The sea is a natural environment. There can be waves, wind and movement, just as there can be on sailing, diving, boating or any other activity that takes place at sea. We unfortunately don't control the Mediterranean — and being out in nature is part of what makes an adventure tour an adventure.
On the day you joined us, the sea conditions were actually relatively good (waves were only 1 foot, not 3!), something also reflected in the feedback from other guests who were on the same excursion with you.
Our guide also spent a considerable amount of time helping you and your grandson. At one stage he even had to tow your kayak, while continuing to supervise and look after the rest of the group. We’re very pleased to hear that you thought he was great, because he went well beyond what would normally be required to make sure you were both safe and supported.
So no, we’re certainly not ashamed of the excursion. We’re extremely proud of the experience we’ve been running for 17 years and of the hundreds of thousands of guests who have enjoyed it.
Adventure activities simply aren’t going to suit everybody, and that’s absolutely fine. But describing a normal sea-kayaking excursion as something requiring Olympic-level fitness because you personally found it difficult isn’t a fair representation of the experience that the overwhelming majority of our guests have.
The ocean was amazing and our tour guide JB was awesome! He was super knowledgeable and went above and beyond with making sure that new kayakers were prepared. The snorkeling was awesome and I highly recommend water shoes. We kayaked out and then anchored the kayaks in the ocean and jumped into the water to snorkel. I was a little worried about having to hoist myself back into the kayak (female 51yo) but it was totally manageable and JB promised that If I couldn’t, he would help! The views were gorgeous and breathtaking. Kids are 19,20,23 and they had a blast, esp with the cliff jumping! Highly recommend this experience and JB was a great, easy going tour guide. No drinks provided fyi, that means bring your own water or there is a stand that sells drinks (do not get a milkshake) and takes card.
Thanks Sergi and Henry you were the BEST, this tour is a must! the conditions for kayaking, snorkeling and cliff jumping were unreal, it didn’t feel rushed and it was heaps of fun.
Mark was an absolutely amazing guide. He took his time explaining things and kept u all engaged and safe. He made us all comfortable and excited the entire day.
This tour is absolutely worth it — exactly as described, and even better in person!
Our guide was René. He was absolutely fantastic! Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and informative, with a great sense of humour that made the whole experience even better. His English is fluent, he clearly knows his stuff, and he went above and beyond throughout the tour. And the cherry on top — he’s an amazing photographer and captured incredible moments on his GoPro!
Would 100% recommend this activity, but even more so if you get René as your guide.
This is an 8 hour tour and get ready to paddle! You are in the water for about 3 hours. The cliff jumping & snorkeling were very fun. Our guide was Rene and he was great! Very helpful and patient since we had all levels of kayaking experience.
Amazing experience. Marc and Gerard were wonderful and knowledgeable guides and very sweet to our young kids. Would highly recommend.
We went as a family of 5 ages 8-49 and all had an unforgettable time. We originally booked the 10am departure from BCN but had to adjust due to weather and ended up doing an 8am departure. Earlier turned out better! No one was at the beach yet when we arrived, traffic was less, water was flat calm and we were back in time to shower and go to dinner! The caves and cliff jumping were so much fun for all of us and the go pro pics our amazing guide René took are framers. A truly gorgeous beach and views. We learned about the history of the area without it feeling like an audio tour (museum fatigue!) and knew we were in very capable hands the whole excursion. Would repeat.
We had a great experience exploring the ocean with our tour guide Mateo. He provided good instructions prior to going out in the Kayak. We felt very comfortable and had a great time.
Fun activity at a beautiful beach. Rene is a great guide. He got us to the beach safely and back to Barcelona.
Had an amazing time! Our guide Jamba was super nice! We saw a lot of fishes and had photos taken by Jamba with a GoPro
Great activity if you like to swim! Beautiful location, great tour guide ( Marco) and worth the money. I would recommend taking your own waterproof bag that floats, so the guide does not have to keep up with your glasses/ sunglasses. I lost mine on a cliff jump, but Marco was able to get them. I would not rely on the straps to keep from losing your glasses.
This tour was great! Matt was a fantastic tour guide and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good time. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona who wants to spend a day outside the city.
Excellent snorkling and fun cliff diving . Our guide Henry was helpful and informative . Such a great day to play in the sea. I highly recommend
Excellent experience. Henry, our guide, was unbelievable from start to finish and made the experience even more enjoyable! Definitely would recommend this trip!
Jamba was the best! He made it fun, comfortable, and we always felt safe and had a great time. Jamba was very kind and respectful of all abilities and made sure everyone was always doing good. 10/10 would recommend this experience. The water is so clear and warm and the views are exceptional.
It was so much fun, Marcos was very helpful and kind to all of us. We had an amazing time. Meeting up was very easy and the experience was very rewarding. I would 100% recommend it.
The trip itself was great. The destination was beautiful. Our tour guide was a different story. He lacked enthusiasm and seemed uninterested in telling us about the destination. He stated he would not "yell", which equated to not projecting his voice. This made any commentary or instruction difficult to understand or not heard at all. At the end of the trip, our guide told the group that he took photos at his own expense and that he was doing it to be nice. However, the trip description states photos are included as the guide would have a Go Pro. It felt like we were being guilted into tipping. Additionally, the van was hot and they packed it to capacity, meaning that I was there lucky one who sat up front in the middle of the driver and a friend. It was unfortunate that such a lovely experience was out shadowed by the tour guide.
mreinés Was are guide and he was great really knowledgeable and a fun guide would definitely recommend to friends and family
In Costa Brava our guid jamba showed us a beautiful spot for snorkeling and cliff jumping. Moving arround stressles with kajak boats

So Fun! Great way to spend the day at the beach. Mateau was an absolute blast as a guide! Would recommend this to everyone
Rene was our guide through the beautiful rocks and ocean chanels. The views were amazing and Rene made us feel welcome and safe.
What a great day!
The water was beautiful and warm. It was a fantastic diversion from churches, museums and tours in the city with our 3 teenagers from NYC!
Our guide Chivito was the best. He was an expert kayaker, snorkeler and diver. Those of us who were a little nervous were quickly at ease under his guidance.
Recommending this tour 1000%
I had four people in my party - 3 adults and an 11 year old. The meeting point was easy to locate and convenient to public transportation. We took a pleasant ride to Costa Brava. I was assigned to Ivan and he was the best guide. Our full group had people of varying ages and skill levels. He was very patient with everyone and made sure that we all were safe and had a good time. The excursion itself was perfect - a little bit of everything. Lots of wildlife to see while snorkeling. 10/10 would recommend and be sure to request Ivan!
We had a wonderful day with Mateu as our guide. He ensured that everyone had fun, was safe and got to experience the beauty of the area. Highly recommended!
Beautiful weather in August to do this tour! We had Nala as our guide - she’s cheerful, welcoming, and patient. Cliff diving was fun and surprisingly less scary than I thought! We saw cute (apparently harmless) jellyfish as we kayak, and thanks to Nala we also got to see an octopus when we snorkelled. The water was so clear, overall fantastic memory for our trip in Barcelona❤️
