We start the day in Gratallops, we will see the most spectacular vineyard fields in Catalonia. It is the region of origin of Priorat wine. The visit to one of the local wine cellars is essential. Amazing experience with great guides!

This was such a powerful experience! For anyone who is interested in history and also want a spiritual experience during their holiday it is definitely a must do! Our tour guides, Merak aka MK and Chevie (sorry not sure about his spelling) were great in their knowledge of Monserrat but also their presentation during the bus ride n tour were entertaining. They also tried to talk to each of the participants individually which is a great touch! Our driver Ricardo was fantastic and very skilled as he drove us through windy roads up and down the mountain. I really recommend this tour to everyone!

Whirlwind Tour! It's a must do!

The day started early in Barcelona. We then headed off to Baga, Spain with a short break. Next we headed to France and it was nice that we visited a rest stop with nice bathrooms before we continued. I enjoyed the tour and all the historical information shared. And then we went to Andorra. We spent a couple hours there and I'm so grateful to take part in the tour. There was about 20 of us and we had enough space in the bus. Our driver David was excellent. Hes such a great and safe driver especially when it started raining in the afternoon. Rebecca was an excellent guide who was informative but also made sure we kept time. I learned so much and had a very nice time. I encourage you all if you have a day to take this tour!

Kayaks, Sea Caves, and Cliff Jumps

This was our adventure day, and it did not disappoint. We kayaked along the beautiful Costa Brava coastline, explored sea caves, snorkeled in the Mediterranean, and had the chance to jump from three different cliff heights. The water was much colder than we expected, so we really appreciated that the crew provided wetsuits and helped everyone get fitted before heading out. The kayaking was the highlight for us. The coastline is absolutely stunning, and being able to paddle into the openings of the sea caves was a very cool experience. The snorkeling was enjoyable, although we wish that portion had been a little longer since there wasn’t a lot of marine life to see. The transportation from Barcelona was comfortable and well organized. The meeting point also had a nearby coffee shop, which made it easy to grab breakfast and coffee before the drive. Sandwiches were provided after the tour and were much appreciated after several hours on the water. Overall, this was a fun, active excursion in an exceptional setting. If you’re looking for a day of adventure and some of the most beautiful scenery on the Costa Brava, this tour is a great choice.

Solo Traveler

As you would expect, there were a lot of people there. There are restaurants, gift, shops, and a small open air market with cheese, honey, and other things. I came on a tour bus from Barcelona. Our tour guide, Francisco, was very versed in the history surrounding Monserrat. Listen carefully for your meeting spots, because I couldn’t find anyone when I came out of the cathedral. The Basilica is very grand. I went to see the boys choir sing, and one of the benefits of that was that the lights for the choir made the gilded frames around the art in the chancel and apse glisten. However, the music performance is very short. From start to finish it was 14 minutes, and part of that was speaking. Since I could see it from the nave, I did not go up to see the Black Madonna. There was a continual line of people crossing in front of her above the apse which was interesting to watch. Because walking is difficult for me and it was sunny and hot, I took the Saint Joan funicular up (buy your tickets at the station) and looked at the view, but I did not take any of the hikes. The rock formations were indeed incredible.I waited in order to be in the front car for the trip down. It was worth it. This was my first Viator tour, and I feel like it was worth the expense. It helped that Francisco was personable and friendly.

This is a must see tour if you are in Barcelona, and I hope you are lucky enough to get Ramon as your guide. We enjoyed every minute.

Great experience, wonderful sights and delicious food and wine.

The meeting place was easy to find, right inside Barcelona's north station. They were exactly on time and ready to go with Tony leading the way. Our guide was professional and full of knowledge. Sadly for others, we were advised it was his last tour, 'cause he was moving on to another career. Funny, I can see his future potential. Anyhow, we could not have been more blessed with spectacular weather. For those with motion sickness, I recommend some Dramamine on the ride up across the winding roads up the mountain. It will be worth it when you reach the top. The sights were breathtaking. Afterwards, they took us to a very nice winery where we sampled some tapas and wines. Tony was able to explain each one of them and provided interesting facts at every bite and sip. They got us back to the station exactly when they said they would. Thank you for the memories!

Girona & Dali Museum Small Group Tour with Pick-up from Barcelona

Dulce is the champ for Dali and Girona.

Dulce is the most amazing tour guide we had in our Europe cruise and visit. She knew so much about the history of Girona and then the Dali museu. Her knowledge made the experience so much better. Dulce and the driver also handled a major road shut down wonderfully. The museum is something to not be missed if you are in the Barcelona region. We had a small group, 6 people, that made it better as well. Go with Dulce if you can, and in a smaller group. You will not regret it.
