Blue Mountains Day Trip from Sydney Including Scenic World

Highly recommended.

The day was packed with outstanding visits, starting with a delightful stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park, where there were a good selection of birds and animals, and where we took advantage of being photographed with a koala (at an extra cost). The journey to the Blue Mountains was quite long, but well worth it for the vast and stunning scenery, including a lunch stop in Leura which was a pretty town and worth a walk round to explore. The Scenic World trip was a great addition, as was the stop in Katoomba to view the Three Sisters and to get a different perspective over the Blue Moutains, truly an awe inspiring wonder of nature. The day ended with a boat trip back to Circular Quay in Sydney on the Parramatta River, which was the perfect way to end the experience. This is one tour that shouldn't be missed and is highly recommended.

We enjoyed this trip immensely. There was a lot fit into one day, but we rarely felt rushed. The scenic railway was a big highlight. The only negative part of our day was a bit of gruffiness from the guide in the morning about seating on the bus. It wasn't directed at us, but it did come off as brusque. Everyone has a bad day, but it would have been better to start with a smile.

Our pick up was a fuss...

Our pick up was a fuss free event with the amazing Alan who picked us up. The train ride was an absolutely wonderful with breathtaking views of the scenery. The locals get into it and wave as you go past them. It was such a memorable day that we glad we did. The walk in the rainforest was great as well. If you get Alan he made our trip fun and had so much knowledge and an awesome sense of humour

What a view!!

I have a major fear of heights and bridges, so taking on the Summit Climb was a huge step for me. Fortunately, I was able to completely overcome my anxiety thanks to our amazing guide, Larchan. He went above and beyond to make sure our entire group felt safe and secure the whole way up. Once I was able to relax, the views were absolutely incredible. Huge shout out to Larchan for helping me conquer my fear and making this such an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend.

Good day trip to the Blue Mountains for those not too adventurous as it involves minimal walking and covers the iconic points including Three Sisters with Cable Car rides.We were fortunate to see a Lyre bird in the National Forest putting on a show for us .Trip ends with a visit to a Native Australian Animals Zoo where you can take a pay for pic for AUD 30 with a Koala .The guide, Rocky, of Sri Lanka origin was late at our pick up point due to an inconsiderate late passenger at an earlier pick up point .Rocky is quite friendly and knowledgeable and his commentary was non-stop except when we drove post lunch to the Featherdale Zoo Trip was not tiring and thus recommended for those who tire easily

Spectacular day! Snorkelling on the reef saw lots of fish and also turtles. Stunning beach to spend the afternoon at gorgeous white sand and crystal clear water to swim in. Back on the boat the staff were very friendly enthusiastic and the lunch and snacks were delicious!

Just do it!

This was a great day trip. I liked that we stopped at 3 places along the reef. Each stop was different. The equipment was very nice and fit well. The staff was really nice and very helpful. The food was surprisingly good. Glad I had dry clothes to change into at the end of the day!
