Chaotic start, but overall good experience

Anuradha_M, Apr 2026
The experience was overall okay. At the start it was pretty confusing since there was noone to receive us. All the people were hanging around for almost half an hour confused. The driver of the bus was around but he refused to communicate to anyone. At the time when the bus was scheduled to leave he jumped out and started allowing people in suddenly. People were out in tge cold without a clue on which bus was theirs. Not a great start. The guide got into the bus half an hour on the way to bruge. He was the spanish guide it turned out. On the good side, the english guide who joined in bruge for taking us around in bruge was very competent. She took us around and explained the main sights. So overall the tour was good. Be prepared for confusion at the start since there are many different buses at the start point. This tours bus had Buendia written on it.

Enchanting city

We loved our trip to Bruge. The driver, and guides did a great job. Our guide, Anton, was very knowledgeable and funny. Overall the trip was excellent!

Brugge

Brugge is a beautiful city, the canal boat ride was so good. Gabrielle our tour guide for the bus trip was so informative and helpful plus our driver was excellent

Bruges was lovely - the bus tour guide was not

Jackie_E, Mar 2026
We arrived at the meeting point on time. The bus, driver and guide were there as scheduled. We boarded the bus and the guide gave instructions about how the day would look. After that, she didn't communicate to the English speakers at all, other than to give restroom instructions. The Spanish speakers on the bus carried on a lively conversation with the bus driver and tour guide, with laughing and spirited conversation, while English speakers sat without any updates about where we were, the countryside, or any local information. Upon arriving in Bruges, the English speakers were handed off to another guide, Jares, who did a great job giving history, recommendations, and answering questions. He did carry a very strong accent, so it was difficult to understand him, and he lost several members of our group along the way. He apologized for not having hearing devices, but the driver/tour guide didn't provide them to him. I do not fault him, but it was just difficult to understand him. After free time, we boarded the bus for our trip back to Amsterdam. Neither the bus driver or bus tour guide greeted us or asked if we had enjoyed ourselves. As before, there was no commentary on the drive home in English, but much conversation with the Spanish speakers. We arrived back on time and the tour guide thanked us for coming and told us we could leave a tip as we left the bus. Two stars - they got us to and from Bruges and provided us with an English speaking guide (sort of) upon arrival.

Burgess trip

Holly_S, Mar 2026
It's a wonderful historic village with many interesting shops and restaurants. Historic events like the vikings and other invaders have tried to control the town in the past.

A lovely day in Bruges

Deborah_H, Mar 2026
Our trip started on time with a friendly greeting from our Guide Pia. We set out to Bruges and it was immediately apparent that our driver was experienced and safe. This made the long ride more relaxing. I was immediately impressed with Pia and her ability to give us the highlights in English and then immediately switch to the same information in Spanish. Traveling solo, I was a little nervous but it was so nice to find such a welcoming group of fellow passengers and I didn’t feel like the odd one from the moment I stepped off the bus until returning back to my hotel. The tour in Bruges was fantastic and Pia was so knowledgeable and sharing I learned a lot. I would recommend this tour without hesitation.

A long day

Paul_J, Mar 2026
Honestly I wouldn’t recommend it. The travel to Bruges (3.5 hours) and back (3 hours) was just too much. We enjoyed the one hour guided walking tour, but the next city rules on group size and not stopping at/near popular spots really made it difficult. After the guided tour portion was complete, we were really at a loss at what to do. The city is has some beautiful buildings, but we could have done with a city map of recommendations or a ticket to one of the museums included in the package.

Amazing trip with amazing guides and drivers

Be aware that you will be in the bus for about 7 hours of this tour. Not the operators’ fault - I should have noticed this. Tour guide on bus was ok. Tour guide in Bruges was not qualified. Brugge is lovely.

Disappointing

Andrea_J, Feb 2026
I had high hopes for this tour & it started off good. Everything was organized & the bus to Bruges was informative, clear, & the driver & Spanish language tour guide did a wonderful job. The issue came once we separated into the English & Spanish led tours. Our English tour guide was subpar to put it nicely. From the start she couldn’t lead the group even in calling out names of participants. Other people on the tour had to step in. Her English was borderline ‘not-understandable’ & her low speaking voice made it near impossible to know what was going on. She didn’t allow time to stop at picturesque places we wanted to photograph and was more concerned with not being in other tours’ way than giving us an actual tour of Bruges. Within the first 20 minutes 6 of us got separated and lost the tour, and frankly I’m glad I was one. I had a better experience on my own as I found out once we all regrouped back at the bus at the end of the day. Please vet your guides better before you send them out on paid-for excursions. (This excludes the driver and Spanish led tour guide…they were excellent.)

It was ok, it was a little difficult understanding our tour guide. Didn’t realize we would be on a tour with Spanish tourists and tour guides whose primary language was Spanish. Also would have liked a little more time in Bruges.

Overall for what you are getting for your money spent it was well worth it just on the long ride back and forth to the wonderful city of Bruges, the tour guide was informative, the only thing I would avoid is the restaurant recommended by the guide, everything else was great.

We had a very pleasant experience. The driver José and guide Blanca were both very professional. Despite the 3 hour bus ride, it did not feel long as Blanca would share info and insights throughout the journey. She spoke bilingually, and everything was always said in both Spanish and English so you do not miss anything. The tour in Bruges itself was nice and we felt that a lot was covered. TIP: If you plan to climb the bell tower, book quickly straight after your tour ends. You may have to wait an hour or two for your timeslot.

It was a charming tour. The tour guide was very accommodating. It was a cold day but that added to the charm.

Gorgeous Bruges

AlexDan_T, Dec 2025
Our tour leader Pau, was very knowledgeable and versatile delivering his narratives in English and Spanish very clearly. He gave wonderful information on the sites and showed us great parts which are off the beatenbtrack

Bruges

Rolando_I, Dec 2025
Fluent English speaker. Peter was very knowledgeable of Bruges' history. He also recommended different stores to try the famous Belgian chocolate, waffle, and fries.

Pathetic Service

Jasdeep_D, Dec 2025
Unfortunately, they do not speak very good English and do not respond to messages and texts. We were running 15 min late and I texted them and called them many times ut could not reach them. They finally responded only to tell us that the bus had left. They said they could not offer any options. The English was pathetic. Overall Pathetic service and pathetic service recovery.

Worth every penny!

Alison_T, Dec 2025
If you are wondering if the long drive is worth the side trip, the answer is YES. Bruges is wonderful. The team were all very nice (Rafa, Diego and driver M who was very very skilled). I would give the tour company a 4.9/5 with suggestions for perfection…. 1) Have someone at the departure location earlier so that the arriving clients don’t start the day with uncertainty. 2) The local guide should do some of the historical background while walking - Walk and talk. After the three hour bus ride we were all anxious to get to the city centre and the backgrounder could have been delivered while we were walking. Don’t let these small points detract from the day. It was really very good.

Excellent
