Gabriel and driver Maritoñi were excellent! It was a long long loooong drive … but so WORTHY! Bruges is so beautiful and unique that it deserves a visit or stay if you have time! We definitely recommend this tour with Buendia tours they were very organized and friendly. We had an amazing free time to roam around the restaurants and stores and then head back to Amsterdam (driving back was shorter…lol) . It was a nice day in Bruges!

I purchased the bus tour with boat. The bus ride was easy, the driver and guide (Nico) were good and very nice - they didn't chat much during the 3+ hour ride. Bruges was really cute but much bigger than I was expecting and really really crowded. I was told that I just need to show my ticket to the Boat attendants and they would scan my ticket - the first two places to board the boat told me that they did not take my kind of ticket (you have to stand in the long line to get a paper ticket first) - The third place said that they are able to take my ticket but it was too busy and I would have to come back later in the day. At that point it was going to be too late so unfortunately I never got to take the boat. :( So if you add the boat tour make sure to do that first. It is a long day, it was about 13 hours for us. All in all I I'm glad I went.

We had an incredible trip to Bruges, and a huge part of that was thanks to our wonderful team, Mr. Maritoni and Mr. Gabriel!
Our guide, Mr. Gabriel, was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the history of Bruges to life with great storytelling. He made sure the group stayed together, gave fantastic local tips for free time, and was always happy to answer questions.
Our driver, Mr. Maritoni, provided a smooth, safe, and incredibly comfortable ride. He kept everything perfectly on schedule and navigated the route effortlessly.
Together, they made the entire experience seamless, organized, and stress-free. Highly recommended to anyone looking to explore Bruges!
Long long long bus trip. We left at 8:20 am and get back to the starting point until 8:40 pm. Trip not really as described
Booked the English trip but ended up on a bus where commentary was English then Spanish. Gabrielle however was a great guide.
We had a fantastic tour! Our driver and guide (Rafita GY )were both wonderful—very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful throughout the entire experience. The tour was well organized, enjoyable, and informative. We learned so much and had a great time exploring. Highly recommended!
It was a four hour drive to get there, while the description said it was only a three hour drive. When we finally arrived at 12:30, we went straight into the guided tour of the city with no opportunity for lunch. After such a long drive, there needs to be a time scheduled for people to eat. The tour went until 3:00, meaning we did not get food until close to 3:30. The tour was fine, but our guide was very difficult to understand. We were supposed to have three hours of free time in the city, but we only had one and a half, and had to spend much of that walking back to the bus to make sure we were there to leave on time. We did not arrive back in Amsterdam until after nine pm. In a city where most restaurants close at this time, this is not acceptable. We did not get dinner after already having to wait several hours for lunch. Bruges is a fun city to see, but it was ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH the drive to get there. I wish we had stayed in Amsterdam for the day.
Loved Bruges and would highly recommend to anyone. Only reason I didn't give a 5 was ours was a combined English/Spanish tour and the guide on the bus didn't speak English very well and it was hard to understand her. Our Bruges guide Leah, was excellent. She was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good information
Pouring rain, waited an hour, the tour bus was a no show. No contact details for Viator. The tour didn’t even appear on “past and cancelled” on the wesite. Don’t even know how to apply for a refund. Maybe it was a scam
Very disappointed. Followed link on Viator on to Apple Maps and it took us to the wrong location. Missed the bus by 2 minutes when we switched to the link on Google Maps. Frustrating calls to phone number listed in the reservation did not connect us with the tour operator.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this tour. The tour was mainly conducted in Spanish, and the English-speaking tour guide was not very clear or easy to understand. I had a hard time understanding what he was saying for most of the tour.
The bus also did not have a restroom, which was inconvenient, especially for a long tour. On top of that, the driver did not allow us to drink beverages on the bus, which made the experience even less comfortable.
Overall, I expected a better experience and clearer English guidance. I hope these issues can be improved in the future.
Inspite of the rain today, Bruges was a pretty little town with much to see & do. Viktor was good & his food & activity recommendations were excellent. Bus ride was comfortable & not too tiring. Definitely a great day trip
Very beautiful town, the trip is worth the time it takes to get there from Amsterdam. The only complaint is the fact that the bus has seats that are reclined on an uncomfortable fixed position.
Too much time on the bus and not enough time in Brugge. Suggest travel by train. Also the boat cruise looked lovely but not enough time for that and time to eat lunch.
Our guide Catherine was lovely and gave us good suggestions. Unfortunately we waited 20 minutes for 3 in our group to get to the departing bus—they never showed up. We could have spent that time in Brugge!
In a new country, new place. This tours pick and drop instructions are too poor. There is no landmark or location for the pick up. We booked two tours with audio tour and only one was given the audio set and not for the other. The tour guide was very unapologetic about that.
When we reached the meeting point 5 mins late , they were already leaving without any worry to stop for people who are missing. In the morning they waited over 15 mins for some passenger and the evening made us feel small and almost were racist towards us.
Blanca and Jose were fabulous. I had such a great time. Got to see so many sights, taste some great chocolate and learn more about history
Very enjoyable day! Haven’t been to Brugge since 1990 yet it has retained its charm and beauty. Still one of my favorite European cities.

4 hours at Bruges was plenty and we managed to see most sights including a canal boat tour. Cartine did a good job guiding and recomending places to eat and shop.
I would like to recommend this tour to any solo travelers out there. I appreciate Nico's professionalism and knowledge about the city. I definitely took spectacular photos of the city.
It was the best tour. Highly recommend it. Our tour guide was victor. He is amazing. First we were in bus from Amsterdam to Bruges then in Bruges he showed us everything and explained all places. Then he showed us where to go for a boat tour and where to eat. V had so much fun. One of the best tour. Worth every penny. Easy to come back to meeting point.
We had a fantastic day looking around beautiful Bruges with my siblings. It was a big 10-hour trip but so worth it to walk around this UNESCO World heritage town with cobblestone alleys and picturesque surrounds. Our tour guide Blanca was a great guide, very informative, friendly and patient with all of us. Driver John did a pretty good job we got there safely and back. Highly recommend this tour.
Victor was very knowledgeable and spoke several languages and had great recommendations not only for the day but other days while spending time in amsterdam.

Our guide Blanca was very nice and informative, both during the tour as well as to and from Bruges. A lot of great suggestions for places to eat in Bruges after the tour and having time to take a canal tour as well.
The day trip to Bruges was wonderful and Gabriel and Maritimio made the experience informative interesting and safe - worth the time to visit this gem of a hideaway especially with Gabriel providing insight and history and Maritonio getting us from place to place safely and without any incident
We did the Bruges tour without a guide in the town. We also picked the option with the boat ride. It was great exploring the town on our own. It gave us time to see things at our own pace and to do shopping. We stopped at a couple of different places to try the Belgian waffle and it was excellent. This would be a must try food. Bruges is a lovely medieval city and worth the three hour drive each way.
Gabriel was very easy to listen to as he gave us facts and information about Bruges and Amsterdam. Raul was on time and safe as a driver. The town was very touristy but has lots of beautiful old buildings.
Day trip to Bruges with our driver Jose and guide Gabrielle. Had a great day with Gabrielle walking us around the town. His knowledge of the town, the region and its history was amazing and was delivered in a totally professional manner. Would highly recommend this tour company.
Viator wouldn't connect me with the tour operator to get instructions on where I needed to go to meet the group. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused. I asked for my money back as the tour operator left me and it was declined. I just submitted a report to the BBB to get my money back. I've been a loyal customer to Viator for YEARS. Not anymore..
