Gabriel and driver Maritoñi were excellent! It was a long long loooong drive … but so WORTHY! Bruges is so beautiful and unique that it deserves a visit or stay if you have time! We definitely recommend this tour with Buendia tours they were very organized and friendly. We had an amazing free time to roam around the restaurants and stores and then head back to Amsterdam (driving back was shorter…lol) . It was a nice day in Bruges!

Very safe and professional bus driver who safely drove bus in a torrential rain storm. Very friendly tour guide. The tour of Bruge was very informative. I had plenty of freer time to go to the museum Historium and have a nice meal. Good value for price

This is a great tour not to be missed. All instructions and descriptions were exactly as advertised. The great plus is that you have plenty of time to see Bruge. The ride there and back is comfortable and a chance to view the countryside. The tour Igor was just terrific!

A very informative and interesting day. Being a small group tour made it even more enjoyable. It is a long day, but this could be remedied by shortening the free time in Bruges by an hour. I found it difficult to fill the free time and would have preferred finishing by 4pm rather than 5.
marian_d, May 2026
Not worth your entire day. Long uneventful bus ride and Bruges extremely crowded with tourists.
The guide on this tour was knowledgeable and polite but if your time is limited I would skip Bruges
Michael_W, May 2026
We had such a great time! Out tour guide was amazing and so informative. I learned a lot and enjoyed the city. It was a beautiful city.
Claudia_Q, May 2026
I would not book this trip unless the weather is good and not pouring all day since it is entirely a walking tour!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for your feedback! You make a very fair point—since our excursions are walking tours designed to immerse you fully in the historic streets of Bruges and Ghent, the experience is definitely much more pleasant when the sun is shining.
That being said, we are in Belgium! Beautiful rainy days are just part of the local charm here. Our tours operate rain or shine, and our professional guides always do their best to adapt the route, utilizing covered areas and indoor stops when the weather gets tough.
We always recommend checking the forecast and bringing a good umbrella or raincoat so a little Belgian weather doesn't stand in the way of exploring these beautiful cities. We hope you still managed to enjoy the history and chocolate!
Best regards,
The Buendía Tours Team

Bruges is beautiful and well worth the trip out of Amsterdam. The coach is comfortable and easy journey there and back.
Seamus_O, May 2026
Blanca and Manuel did a fantastic job! They put a lot of care and thought into the tour, presenting the history of Brugge fantastically! They had great recommendations about Amsterdam, Brugge, and Barcelona! Would take a trip with them again in a heartbeat
Robert_S, May 2026
The tour guide Niko gave a decent tour for about an hour or so - then cast us to our own devices with a suggestion we us Google Maps to find the bus parking place. There were older people in the group who were not familiar with phone apps. I was shocked
Luiz_B, May 2026
Loved the tour, it is the perfect day trip from Amsterdam if you are looking for something else to do.
Pamela_Z, May 2026
Do not miss the opportunity to travel to Brugge! The bus driver did an excellent job to get us to and from. But Catherine was the absolute best at keeping us informed of the history and special things to do in Brugge! Truly a day we will remember!
JoseA_F, May 2026
Very long bus ride and very short time in Bruges. At the end of the walking tour you are left on your own and you have to make it back to the bus alone. It is a very winding city and you get confused. Thank God our guide Eduardo took pity of my husband and I and he walked us back. If it wouldn’t have been for his kindness, we would have gotten lost. He was a very good tour guide, very informative
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you very much for your kind words and for sharing your experience with us. We are glad to hear that Eduardo was able to assist you and make your visit to Bruges more enjoyable.
We would like to kindly note that the duration and itinerary of our excursion are clearly indicated in the tour description. In Bruges, after the guided walking tour, guests are given some free time to explore and enjoy the city at their own pace. Afterwards, the walk back to the bus is only about 10 minutes, allowing a comfortable return to Amsterdam.
We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again on one of our tours in the future.

Our tour guide Gabriel was kind, patient and informative. This would have been a huge hassle if I planned it myself. We would certainly visit Bruge again.
laura_c, May 2026
This was truly one of the highlights of our trip. This beautiful little place is rich with history and full of incredible stories. Our tour guide Gabrielle and our bus driver made the entire experience fantastic. They handled the unexpected traffic from King’s Day with ease, keeping everything running smoothly.
Rose_S, May 2026
Great information and beautiful city. Punctual and comfortable bus ride. Guides and driver were professional
Charisma_A, Apr 2026
I never expected so much on the trip as I don't know the place so much but at the end I was in awe. Bruges is surprisingly amazing. Imagine walking into a medieval time wherein you'll feel & imagine it in every corner. This is highly recommended. And to our guide (Gabriel of Buendia) thank you.

Loved the city of Bruges! So beautiful and historic, with lots of restaurants and shops and other things to do (from carriage rides to climbing the bell tower).
The history of the city is fascinating, including the lace-making and chocolate-making which are famous!
Our guide for the walking tour was excellent!
Unfortunately, our guide on the (long) coach ride was not very good. This was specifically billed as an English-speaking tour, but our guide’s English was very accented and hard to understand - she was also very soft-spoken, so hard to hear over the bus noise. The tour was about 1/3 to 1/2 Spanish speakers and the rest English speakers. This resulted in a very tedious and difficult ride as every piece of information was given in two languages.
We enjoyed the city, but would have preferred more time to explore on our own. The bus ride (about 3 hours each way), consumed most of the day. Lunch took up any free time.
The “comfort stop” on the way there was excellent - large shop, clean WCs, and room for the group. On the way back, it was a small, dirty gas station with no real amenities. Ugh.
Renee_K, Apr 2026
It’s a long day on the bus, bring a book. But the city center of Brugge is neat and the guided tour gives a fair amount of information. Oscar was great.

Beautiful destination. Bus was clean and comfortable. (Not fir superficial travelers. To get the most out of the experience, a person must be responsible for having some basic knowledge of history.)

Trip was to leave at 8:30. We got there about 8:15. There was no sign saying where to stand when we got to the meeting point. No guide. No restrooms. Guide arrived around 8:30. She was very soft spoken. She did not make an announcement that she was the guide. There was another trip to Bruges leaving at 9:00 with a different company. No one knew where to go. The other company bus got there before our bus. Our bus didn't arrive until 8:45'ish. Only after getting on the bus were we told we couldn't eat anything and that there was no bathroom!!! How can you use a bus without a bathroom for a 3 hour trip?? People paid for this trip and should have been told in advance when booking that the bus would not have a bathroom. Plus, there was no bathroom at the meeting point for the bus. They had planned on a half hour rest stop 2 hours into the trip. That became longer because of traffic. There was a woman who really needed to use the facilities when we got there. Upon arriving at Bruges we had less time there since the bus was late and we were delayed with traffic. During the tour the guide reminded us not to drink too much because there was no bathroom on the bus. She laughed saying it but it was not funny. ON the trip home the rest stop was at a NASTY gas station. My wife and I wouldn't use it. Other people were saying it was BAD! What kind of tour company stops at a gas station and makes their PAYING clients stand in line to use the dirty facilities. The guide tried her best. However, she was so soft spoken it was hard to understand her. The bus driver didn't even acknowledge us until we were getting off the bus and he was hoping for a tip. (Which they didn't get). My tip is not to book this tour. I would give zero stars if I could.

One day is not enough. It's so beautiful, you don't want to leave. drive from Amsterdam is more than 3 hours. Guided tour is about 1,5 hour and then you may want to get on a boat tour for 30 min. A lot of walking in the beautiful streets and squares. At the end is kind of difficult to find your way back to the bus parking if you do not have GPS.
Mary_P, Apr 2026
The bus was late leaving be cause the guide was late. The tour guide in Bruges rushed through the tour and was done in less than an hour. She lost the bulk of the group a couple of times until they caught up. But it did give us more time to do a little exploring on our own
Georgios_K, Apr 2026
Such a beautiful day and trip to Brugge!!
The bus driver and Rafa was amazing!!
Always polite and friendly to everyone!!
Well done!!
Graham_B, Apr 2026
A day to remember. Comfortable coach. Helpful guide and also guide that joined us in Bruges. Bruges is a lovely city.
Diana_V, Apr 2026
The place is beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves. Almond the guide was very sweet however this was her first tour in English so she read some of the info and it was hard to understand. I’m sure with time she will get better. Also the driver was nice as well. Always willing to answer any questions. I was originally going to give it 3 stars because of the language but would have giving it a 5 otherwise.
