What are people saying about Albufeira

A great day in the eastern Algarve
A fantastic way to see the Eastern portion of the Algarve! The vehicle was comfortable with only 4 people. There was 1 stop to pickup another traveller outside of Albufeira which made the day a little longer. Our Guide/driver André was kind, personable and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and was only too happy to share. We had lots of time to explore the towns with tips about what to look for and how to maximize the experience.

Fun day at Algar Seco
Ricardo showed us the highlights and did a thorough job of explaining each landmark. He answered questions and was willing to repeat himself if necessary. My brother is hard of hearing & Ricardo spoke to him directly so that my brother could read his lips. He was very considerate in that respect.

Had a great time learning...
Had a great time learning all about the local area as well as exploring the more inland countryside. Our guide was very knowledgeable and everyone on board seemed to be having a great time. Would like to come back to explore again, perhaps in a different season. The pastel de nata is a must try whilst here! Lunch was plentiful and also plenty to drink- sangria, water or orange. If the countryside and experiencing the local traditions is your thing, I would definitely recommend this tour.

Great day On the Water
This is a must when traveling to the Algarve. Such a special way to see the land and sea from the water. Our guides Daniel and Joseph were entertaining and friendly. Full of jokes and stories. Added to the day already being great. Some tour companies have large boats but this one was the opposite. Small and personal only seating 24 max (ish). It helped that the sun was shining and we were able to see lots of dolphins swimming along with us. Really great day and a highlight of our time here.

Not seeing something you are looking for?

It may be hard to leave behind Albufeira’s beaches for a day, but if you do, you’ll be rewarded with a whole host of attractions and experiences. Head west to discover Silves and its Moorish castle, Monte Fóia (the highest point in the Algarve), and the cliffs of Sagres and Lagos, or journey east to Faro, Olhão, and Tavira. Albufeira day trips showcase how much more the region has to offer aside from its beautiful beaches, whether you want to explore sea caves by boat, the countryside by Jeep, take a pilgrimage to Fátima, or hop across the Spanish border to Seville.
