Make your way to the Albufeira marina, where you meet the jet boat captain and crew. When you take off from land, the captain charts a course between Albufeira and Carvoeiro.
Make your way to nose into some of the rock formations that line the coast, and keep your eyes out for dolphins—a marine biologist helps spot the Algarve coast natives (not guaranteed).
See, too, the famous Benagil Caves (depending on sea conditions) and Praia da Marinha, which was voted one of the world's most beautiful beaches. If sea conditions allow, you may even stop for a swim.
This Algarve boat tour and dolphin tour concludes at the original departure point, the Albufeira marina.

- There will be no disembark inside Benagil Cave
- Although we do our best to provide a french and/or german guide on all our boats, this may not always be possible.
- We offer an APP with audio and text guides of the tour, available in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German and Italian
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 47 travelers

The experience of the boat trip was just fantastastic. The sea, the dolphins, rocky shores, caves and the friendly atmosphere on the ship left us an unforgettable memory. We never expected to see so many caves or dolphins jumping up so near so all that was extra to us. Pedro, our driver of the boat, seemed to be the best driver among the many other boats out that day, Gabi and Luanna were taking care of us guests all time with smiles and easiness. So I would like to use this opportunity to congratulate the Albufeira Dreamer Boat comapny for their excllent personnel.

Excellent experience, bengali caves and once in a lifetime experience with the Dolphins!!! Top tip, dress for the weather, wee bit windy, bring a blanket, Lol. Loved the overall experience! We recommend the dreamer boat experience to everyone!

The advertising on the website is very misleading as it never mentioned it might not be possible to get inside Benagil Cave due the high tide. We’re told that we couldn’t go into Benagil Cave due to weather condition just before boarding. When we arrived at the peripheral of Benagil Cave, the staff on board told us we couldn’t get inside the cave due to high tide. If we knew we can get inside the cave only during low tide, I would have picked another time slot.

High tide or low tide has nothing to do with entering the Benagil cave and no one of our team ever mentioned such nonsense.
Security for us is priority and on the day of your tour as explained before your departure, due to sea conditions and for safety reasons the Captain of the Port recommended not to enter caves and the observation of the caves would be done from a safe distance.
Safety is not and never will be negociable.
We continue to strive to improve. 🐬🌊

This was definitely a highlight of our holiday to Albufeira! The boat went much faster than we were expecting and was great fun as we surfed the waves to seek out dolphins. We were lucky enough to see several dolphins. Our guide Miguel was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the coastline and caves, which were stunning. I had taken some travel sickness tablets beforehand but I did still feel a little queasy, more so when the boat stopped to look at the dolphins and caves, so would recommend if you’re liable to sea sickness!

A first class trip all round. The staff and crew were brilliant, the boat itself was amazing and we got treated to some really high speed sailing and exciting manoeuvres! Sightseeing the coastline and caves was really interesting, but the best part of the trip was how close and how many dolphins we saw. Definitely a trip that I'd recommend 100%

The crew were very nice and welcoming. The catamaran was comfortable even when we were speeding in the ocean and hitting the waves. Okay, it was not a smooth ride by any means because of ocean waves but we were not leaving with sore behinds. The caves were a very quick stop and were nice but not mind blowing. We saw no dolphins this day. Dolphins are wild animals and seeing them is not assured. The ocean trip looking for dolphins was rarely boring. Nothing to see but ocean and far off shore. Altogether, not a highlight of our Portugal tour thus far. Ponte de Piedada was a nicer tour, in our opinion.

The boat driver was great but there was no information about what we were seeing. I could not hear the girl when she did speak. We did see dolphins but it was truly just a boat ride. Not worth the $

Great crew. Very informative. The ride was smooth and no issue for my husband prone to motion sickness. Saw lots of dolphins who were putting on a bit of a show. Caves and cliffs are a must see. We were glad we chose this boat over some of the smaller ones. Got just as close but enjoyed the stability of a larger boat.

Seems shorter than it is because of all the great spots to take pictures and to admire. The boat stops to give people time to swim, the water was cool but refreshing.

A lot of lies in the description: we were told there would be swimming - and there was none - going into caves - none and not allowed - jet boat experience - none - just as a normal pace throughout. We also were 1st to arrive but put at back of queue and landed up sitting with our backs to the cliffs the entire time…disappointing and not worth the money - sure there are better ones.

Regarding the stop for swim, we state on the website that it's not guaranteed, as it will depend on the sea conditions, and the captains will use their best judgement in this kind of situations.
We also form our queue based on priorities like back problems, pregnancy etc., not on the time of arrival.

It’s really not worth your money. If you don’t sit on the right side you won’t see anything, and for about 2 minutes each stop. We did not get to go inside the Benagil caves due to conditions but they do not advise in advance like other tours have. Very disappointing unfortunately.

The Dream Wave Crew is awesome! They're super organized and professional. We saw all the main tourist spots along the Albufeira coast and even saw some dolphins in their natural habitat. It was totally worth the money.
