This was a disappointing tour! A lot of driving but not enough time for having a look around the sites and towns.
A 90 minute lunch stop at a shabby roadside cafe added to the time management issues. The whole thing needs to be changed to maximise time. They should drop people in Lagos for at least 2 hours so that people could have lunch or choose to spend more time seeing the sites. There was not enough time to see the castle and have a good look around Silves. Too many miles covered to be able to properly enjoy each place

Our tour guide, Johnny was prompt in picking us up at the designated area and happily entertained us with historical anecdotes along the way to various stops. The first stop at Silves, we were instructed on how to reach the castle (entry was not included) and given an hour and 10 minutes to see it plus the surrounding town. The castle didn’t disappoint and the town had a quaint architecture. The town church was closed unfortunately as well as the museum. The second stop was the oceanside town of Lagos which was very impressive with its churches, fortress walls, colorful boats along the river canal, and quaint little streets filled with local restaurants and shops. Johnny took us to a small restaurant for lunch (not included in the tour price) which we paid 22 Euros per person for all you can drink (wine, juice, or sodas), bread, olives, cheese, prosciutto, a main dish (choice of chicken, fish, blacken pork or vegetarian dish) and a slice of cake for dessert. Well worth it and delicious. The last leg of our tour was Cape Saint Vincent (also known as the end of the world). The views were overwhelmingly astonishing. No pictures can do it justice. You have to experience it in person to comprehend it’s majestic beauty. Definitely recommend this tour although it didn’t include costs of castle entry and lunch (costs approximately 28 Euros in total).

This was a lovely trip, the driver was knowledgeable and friendly and there was plenty of time at each stop. The only negative I would say about the experience was the lunch. We ordered the grilled chicken for €22 each and did not feel it was valid for money but others had a different meal which they enjoyed.
It was great to be given information about each location then being able to go off and explore.

Our tour guide Johnny was very knowledgeable about the area's history. He pointed out the interesting areas and things we passed by. We were surprised to see all of the stork nests and hear their stories. We stopped at varied towns so we could stretch our legs and shop if we were so inclined. It was a memorable day.

Great day out, wonderful photo opportunities in Lagos, Silves, as well as the beautiful ocean and view from the top of the mountain Monchique. Our tour guide Johnny was full of local knowledge and had a great sense of humour. So much fun!

The driver was also a guide, meaning he was driving us from one stop to another only, not walking us through the places we were visiting. He was talking about interesting facts, but it lacked information and tips about the places included in the programme. You had to do your own research to be able to know where to go and what to visit during the stops. The one-hour-long stop in Lagos in the morning was not enough, especially keeping in mind the most interesting museums were only opening 30 minutes before our departure. Overall, the visited places were magnificent, but the organisation of the trip should be improved.

We were picked up at the hotel. It was a small group so it was fun. The trip was in total 9 a 10 hours with stops and visits. The tour operator was really friendly. I would really recommend it. You will visite a lot of places.

Johnny is a great tour guide knows a lot of information about the area. Great personality. The views are amazing, even though we had a cloudy day it was still amazing. The restaurant is just ok, would have liked to have a choice of where to eat, but it wasn't awful, just ok. It was a long day but worth the trip.

Tour guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and had great energy which created a great atmosphere. The long day was broken up with frequent stops, ample exploration time with a lot of ground covered. Fantastic tour, would recommend for any visitor of algarve to get out and see the area.

It's a whirlwind tour of a fascinating part of Portugal in 9 hours - which sounds great, but you're bound to be a little disappointed because the driver tries to cover too much ground. Pros: We got to see a lot of the western Algarve region and learn facts about its rich history, geography, agriculture, cork, storks and more. Cons: We got dropped off at points of interest to walk on our own with little knowledge of what to look for (a small walking map can be helpful); few materials in English; hard to find the pickup point in the morning; the driver drove a little too quickly (a few people felt queasy); tour was cut short because the driver had to go to another job. Driver did his best as a humorous host, but overall it did not meet our expectations. If he had the time and energy to walk with us, it would have been a better tour experience.

Johnny was a great guide & v interesting.
We were dropped in Lagos for 1 hour at 0930 but cathedral & old slave market not open till 10am & therefore not enough time to see either of these which was disappointing.

We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the history of Portugal and to see so much more of the incredible beauty of the Algarve than just the magnificent beaches. Our guide Johnny was knowledgeable, funny and when my husband thought he left his favorite hat behind at one of the stops, Johnny offered to retrieve it on his next trip there and mail it to us. Fortunately my husband found the hat at the bottom of his bag, but Johnny’s kind offer was above and beyond and greatly appreciated.

We were collected from the pick up point, right on time. John our driver and guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic on all subjects and kept us entertained throughout the long day. A great balance of travel and excursion times. Being only a small 16 seater there was little time lost through loading and unloading passengers and waiting for the inevitable stragglers. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and would recommend it. May not be well suited to the very young.

This tour was fantastic and we had such a pleasant tour guide! It was great to see different parts of the Algarve, from the most westerly point to the highest point with interesting stops between. You get 1 hour stops in Lagos and Silves, with other shorter stops in between. Highlights included going to the “end of the world,” seeing the incredible view from the highest point in the Algarve and our driver stopping to allow us take photos of stork nests! We definitely got to see things we wouldn’t have by not doing this trip, I also really enjoyed the smaller group sizes. We opted for the lunch which was nice, particularly as it took the pressure off trying to eat during the day, but do listen to the tour guide and get the black pork! Would love to do another trip like this again, especially with a such a fantastic tour guide like we had this time - I think we all learned so much about Portugal and the Algarve.
