I had the opportunity to take this tour during my trip to Washington and I have to say it was AMAZING. Im tempted to even say my favourite trip Ive done in America. Our tour guide, Ty was FANTASTIC. He was not only knowledgeable about Washington DC and America’s history but he was personable and friendly. You feel like youve known him for years when you take a trip with him. Not only a great representative of his company but of his city. I cannot wait to return and do another trip with him as my local guide.

Renovations

We only got to see one room due to renovations. The add said “some” sights won’t be available not the whole mansion. The estate was nice to see but to pay full price through Viator when I could’ve paid an adjusted price if I went on my own makes the experience a bit of a rip off

Transportation was Awful, but Mount Vernon was Amazong

Only giving this 2 stars because of Mount Vernon, not because of this tour. Mount Vernon was amazing and 100% worth the visit. This tour however was less than amazing. The tour guide drove very dangerously. I understand that city driving can be more aggressive but there were numerous times where we almost got into accidents caused by the tour guide. The driver swerved into another lane and ran a car out of that lane and almost off the road. He also honked and almost hit pedestrians. He had serious road rage and spent half the time talking about how bad all the other drivers were and honking at least 25+ times. Further we did not go to all of the sites as advertised in the tour. This tour was terrible, and not worth the dangerous driving.

was told my tour operator where to park and parking lot full, which made us late, tried calling no one ever replied back do not use this company

We did talked to you on the phone many times we do recommend everyone to use the metro exit national archives you see us across the street and if you have to come with your car you should come early 1 hour at list to look for parking .we provide service and about parking can be google to prevent the time for calling about parking we understand it’s frustrating but this is the they in Washington DC you never know about traffic closing roads or other for that we ask everyone yo come early at list 30 minutes before the tour start if you come with the metro .

ame to town for the football game and this was my first time in DC. Chris was our driver and got us to each tour spot safely. Tyrone was our tour guide and was very funny and charismatic. The tour was 5 and half hours long instead of 7 hours. Looking back at the description, it says there is a 1.5 walking tour of the Library of Congress, US Capitol, and the Supreme Court, which we didn’t do so that’s probably why it was shorter. We did see the Capital from the Grant Memorial, got to take pictures, and then we went on to the next stop. I didn’t keep track of the number of monuments and sites we stopped at but it was quite a few. With that being said, I only had one con, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Tyrone was very engaging and interacted with just about everyone on the bus and was fantastic with kids. But he seemed to avoid me like the plaque and I’m not sure. Even when getting off the bus, he would extend his hand to help the ladies off the bus but when it was my turn to get off the bus, he didn’t offer his hand. Even when the tour was over and he wished me farewell, he extended his hand as if to shake my hand (like he had done to others) but quickly retracted it. This was after I sent a nice tip to him and Chris via Cash app. So not only did he seem to not want to talk to me but also not touch me. When I did ask him questions to try and start a conversation, he provided great recommendations regarding things to do around the city. Maybe I had a “I dont want to be bothered vibe” or reminded him of an ex or something but it was a very weird and awkward situation. Other than that, the tour was worth the money spent and I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially if you want to see all the favorite attractions in a small amount of time. Speaking of Cash App, if you don’t carry cash like I dont, you can send a tip via Cash App.

What a great way to get through alot of the moments in a quick amount of time. Air-conditioned bus with plenty of water to drink. Sally was absolutely amazing and informative. I felt bad after because I scanned her venmo info to leave a tip and once I left the tour the scan didn't go through properly. Hoping this review helps her though and I highly recommend this tour is you want to get through all the monuments quickly. This allows you other time on your trip to enjoy the museums and other DC attractions.
