The whole event amazing - great to see the palace without the crowds - relaxed tour - stunning palace. The musical event in the palace was magical - a combination of Mozart and Strauss played by excellent musicians in a stunning setting. Well organised and well worth the £ highly recommend.

Wonderful experience, the after-hours tour was fantastic as there were only about 20 of us in the entire palace. And the concert afterwards made for a magical evening.

Collection Point for tickets is in the palace not out near the street. Don't rely on staff to give correct directions!! Wise also to check if there is an event on in the grounds, just re. building and setup works etc. You don't need 30 minutes from voucher validation to start of tour. suggest arriving much earlier e.g., 4.30 or 5.00, checking voucher, then going to gardens and a cafe/restaurant, returning by 6.50 pm. Audio guide is clear and enough. Note it has no lanyard so you might bring your own and remove before returning the device, if you need hands free e.g., for taking photos. Be aware it is quite a long walk from palace to the orangerie for the concert. Be prepared e.g., for rain etc.. also, if you are VIP, you can get your drink at half time so no stress about having it before the concert. VIPs get choice of seating but if you delay in the foyer with your drink, you might not get your seating preference. You can purchase snacks if you have missed dinner etc. Seats numbers are not allocated.
The concert is exceptional and featured Mozart and Strauss when we attended. There is a small souvenir sales point. Taxis are ready when you come out of the concert about 10 to 10.15 pm. There are good bathroom facilities in the orangerie complex.

Informative audio tour, friendly guides available for any questions, absolutely wonderful way to see Shönbrunn palace without the crowds and with a fabulous classical concert to conclude the experience. The conductor interacted with the audience which was a fun addition!

Touring the palace after hours with a small group was nice. The tour is with an audio guide and is only 30minutes but tits is what I prefer. The musicians were outstanding. We really enjoyed the music. There is some opera singing as well the female singer was tremendous. There is a bit of waiting around before and after the tour that could be shortened but overall I would do it again.

It was nice to get to tour the palace after hours as a small group. The tour is entirely self-directed and you listen to a recording as you go through each room. It takes about 30 minutes. The concert that followed was very good with orchestra playing and a few operatic numbers by male and female artists. The orchestra takes place in a fairly small hall and it is not necessary to buy the premium seats to both see and hear everything.

Going through the Schonbrun on a private tour is fantastic, without crowds. The concert was also great with many pieces from Mozart and J. Strauss.

The tour after hours of the palace with few people much appreciated. The acoustic of the ballroom for the concert unexpectedly good and enjoyed the music. Some concert goers proved ill-disciplined despite being requested not to use cameras during the performance.

My sister and I had dinner at the Schonbrunner Stockl and walked over to the meeting spot before 7pm. Our guide was friendly and chatted with us as others arrived. We were given our headset device and then escorted through the palace. Since this was after visiting hours, it was quiet and not crowded. I felt we had plenty of time to listen to the narrative and enjoy the sights within the palace. Once everyone was done with the tour, we were escorted to the Orangerie for the concert. The room had a comfortable elegance and the performance of the musicians and the opera singers were amazing.

The exclusive tour of the palace was great. It was so cool to get to explore the palace when it wasn't super busy. The classical concert was also fun, but palace tour was definitely the highlight for me. Wish they could include food or snacks in this experience because it's during dinner time.

Really awful experience. The tour of the palace was only a few rooms and was rushed. The tour started 30 minutes late. We were then made to wait in the cold for 2.5 hours before the concert started. We did not bother with the concert in the end. Not worth the time or money!

The Palace Tour includes 24 rooms and is the highlight tour of the Palace. The audio guide lasts about 40 minutes and there is no time limit on how long you can stay in a room.
We always communicate that the "tour and concert" package has a gap between the tour and the beginning of the concert. May I ask where you booked so that we can put more emphasis on this information. Please send it to heather.chang@imagevienna.com

We received an email a day prior that the event was overbooked and that we could attend a portion of the original synopsis, but not all. When I replied to say we would not appreciate a partial experience and a refund was requested the reply was to take up the situation with Viator, not the vendor to which I was communicating. I have not heard back with a definitive outcome but am happy for the auto-reply to say they are looking into my refund. I use Viator in all my travels and am optimistic a refund is merited. We were able to replace this block of time with an alternate more expensive Viator experience that was wonderful, so it all worked out less the money we are out of to date that will ultimately go back to Viator anyway. To be continued lol

This is after opening hours tour, no one at the information center and the lady from the shop did not know where to go for my tour. The guides with the tour came unprepared, without English broshoure, and did not tell what to do (wifi and browse the site) until I asked. After the tour everyone go after the guides, and go and go, until the concert hall I asked where we are going and one of them say until the Diner. But I did not have a Diner revervation.... I had to turn back to the Schanbbrunn Palace (Christmas market) since the Concert hall was closed...

The tour was very interesting and the concert was fantastic. The only downside was that when we arrived at 2.00pm we were told our slot for the tour wasn't until 5.40. There was nothing prior to this to suggest that the tour was run on time slots and it left us with a lot of free time which given the weather conditions wasn't ideal

We hebben heel de dag doorgebracht bij schloss schönbrün. Daar in de buurt gegeten en om half 7 mochten we naar binnen voor de audiotour . We hebben heel veel kamers gezien en wat zijn we onder de indruk hoe mooi het is . Wat een schitterend gebouw is het . Aansluitend het schönbrün concert gehad . Het is een perfecte afsluiting van een dag aan schloss schönbrün .

Zuerst nahmen wir an der Führung durch das Schloss Schönbrunn teil. Wir wurden durch die schönen Räume geführt. Danach begann das Konzert in der Orangerie. Es war ein wunderbares Erlebnis und ein Höhepunkt unseres Wienbesuches.

La visita al castello doveva essere una visita guidata ma è durata 35 minuti senza una guida reale ma con le audioguide. Il nostro pacchetto non prevedeva cena (senza saperlo) quindi siamo stati due ore in attesa del concerto al freddo e senza poter mangiare perchè il quartiere è deserto. La cena dovrebbe sempre essere prevista o almeno bisognerebbe specificare che ci sono due ore in cui chi non ha la cena deve organizzarsi in anticipo.
