Great day tour, even though it was a long day but Dimitry our tour guy made very comfortable. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful with giving us history.
A must to see specially Budapest, which we will want to comes back to.
We had a wonderful trip to Budapest and Bratislava! Our tour guide Dimitri was very pleasant and educated , with extensive knowledge of history. He provided us with lots of information with many interesting details, answered all our questions. He was very attentive to our needs and desires. We will strongly recommend this trip, especially with this wonderful tour guide!
I arrived in Vienna for a conference and upon realizing I had a day off, I booked this trip last minute. I was nervous since it was almost 11pm the night before the trip but within a couple of minutes I got a WhatsApp message from Dmitry confirming my hotel pickup time, which made me feel much better. He arrived very punctual the next day in a comfortable 5 passenger minivan. We then stopped at 2 hotels to pick up the remaining 4 passengers. The trip was excellent. I thought that seeing 2 capital cities in 1 day might feel a bit rushed but I felt Dmitry did a great job managing the time we spent there and it ended up being a perfect day trip. Budapest and Bratislava were gorgeous. I booked the cruise option which gave me great views to take pictures of Parliament and Buda Castle. Dmitry will tell you the history of the cities, show you the monuments and had little nice details waiting for us at many points throughout the trip. Would absolutely recommend for anyone wanting to see these two capital cities if you only have one day to do so. Just know that you won't be able to enter the palaces and museums, for that, you would need more than one day (or to pick just one city). For what I was looking for, it was perfect! I was picked up from my hotel at 7:40am and dropped off around 10:30pm. It is a long day but there was so much to see that it didn't feel that long. I took advantage of the time it takes to drive there to take a little nap, which helped.
Excellent. Dmitry is A+, he is a real gentleman, very sharp, knowledgeable and makes the experience a very special. He kept in touch with me since I made my reservation weeks before and after tour. Thanks
Dmitry picked us up from the hotel. He was very polite, with good manners. We highly recommend him to others travers.
Visiting the capital cities of two different countries in one day would pose a challenge: how do you showcase their respective highlights in the limited time available? Luckily for our small group, our guide Dmitry skillfully managed to point to us and discuss all that warranted our attention and answer our many questions. We found both cities beautiful and interesting in their own way and definitely worth visiting. The transportation was very comfortable, water bottles were provided and there were enough stops along the way for everyone to stretch their legs. We covered a lot of ground (literally, historically, and also emotionally), without ever feeling rushed. For us, the highlights of the day were the cruise on the Danube and the early evening visit to the Bratislava castle overlooking the beautiful city while sipping the complementary glass of wine (from a real wine glass). Overall, we found this tour to be skillfully planned and well executed. This day was a most enjoyable experience. Thank you, Dmitry!
The tour guide was polite and knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. Visiting Budapest and Bratislava on the same day is probably too much for most tourists due to the distances traveled. Each city deserves a single day tour. Budapest probably needs an overnight tour. Would visit Bratislava again, but Budapest was quite a distance. It was a long day, but seeing both cities was interesting.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found your guide polite, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the tour.
We understand that visiting both Budapest and Bratislava in one day makes for a long day, which is why the tour itinerary and the distances between the cities are clearly described in advance. The journey from Bratislava to Budapest takes approximately 2–2.5 hours, depending on traffic, and this is part of the itinerary that guests can consider when deciding whether this tour is suitable for them.
This tour is designed specifically for travelers who would like to experience the highlights of both cities in a single day, even though it does involve a considerable amount of driving. We’re sorry to hear that the long journey affected your overall experience and rating. Nevertheless, we’re pleased that you enjoyed visiting both cities and that you would consider returning to Bratislava.
Thank you again for joining us and for your feedback.
What a wonderful day. Dmitrij was the kindest most informative tour guide I’ve ever had. He made sure each of us felt taken care of the entire day. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge and is happy to share folklore and stories to enhance your trip if there were more than five stars, I would give it.!
We had an absolutely wonderful time on our day tour from Vienna to Budapest and Slovakia. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide, Dmitrij.
Despite traveling during an intense heat wave, Dmitrij made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. From the moment the tour began, he made us feel like VIPs. He truly gave us the “red carpet” treatment, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. He was thoughtful, attentive, and constantly checked in to make sure everyone stayed comfortable, hydrated, and enjoyed every moment of the trip.
What impressed us most was his extensive knowledge of the history, culture, and landmarks of both Budapest and Slovakia. His engaging storytelling brought each destination to life, making the tour not only enjoyable but also educational. He answered all of our questions with enthusiasm and shared fascinating historical insights that gave us a much deeper appreciation of the places we visited.
There were five of us in our group, and every one of us agreed that Dmitrij was exceptional. We all praised his professionalism, warmth, patience, and genuine passion for what he does. He went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless and memorable, despite the challenging weather.
We highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re fortunate enough to have Dmitrij as your guide. His outstanding service, wealth of knowledge, and personal attention transformed what would have been a great day trip into an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Dmitrij, for making our visit to Budapest and Slovakia so special. We will cherish the memories for years to come!
I had an unforgettable day exploring Budapest and Bratislava thanks to Dmitry, so lucky to have him as my tour guide. He was knowledgeable, professional, so thoughtful and kind. I felt spoiled and well cared. He went above and beyond my expectations!
I learned so much about the history and culture of Hungary and Slovakia.
Highly recommend this tour with him.
Gracias Dmitry🙏
This was a really great experience. We went back and forth a lot when deciding whether to book, because we knew it was going to be a long day, and it was - however it was absolutely worth it. My coworker and I are in Vienna for work and had Sunday free, so we wanted to do something absolutely different than anything else we could do during the week. Dimitry was super friendly, knowledgeable, and lovely to hang out with all day. After a couple of hours together you felt more like you were visiting a friend who was showing you around town. The time in Budapest was the longest part of the trip, and for good reason because there is a lot to see. It's a truly beautiful city. Bratislava is smaller but also lovely, and we got to see all of the most famous sites. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who is on the fence - you won't regret it!
Simply amazing service, I loved the trip. A very responsive and polite guide, a comfortable car, and a small group. The Budapest cruise was an incredible experience. I also enjoyed exploring Budapest on foot; the city is incredibly beautiful. glasses of wine was a nice compliment.
It was a very well organised trip to Bratislava and Budapest , our guide Dmitry was very knowledgeable and friendly , he showed all the sights without any rush
