It was a wonderful day visiting Cesky Krumlov and meeting new friends. Our local tour guide was very informative and helpful. We had enough time to have lunch and explore this beautiful town. Marcus is a great driver. He explained the local highlights during our journey and we had enough time for breaks along the way.

This is an awesome trip. Don’t think about it just do it! The scenery on the way to CK is incredible and CK itself is beautiful. The driver Balazs did a fantastic job driving and explaining the history of the surroundings. It truly was an amazing day!!

“Blage” our guide was great. Very knowledgeable and enjoyable. Marie, who was the local guide when reaching Cesky Krumlov was fantastic! We actually had been to Cesky Krumlov on our own in 2000 but this tour showed us much more than we expected. Great tour and great guides!

Cesky Krumlov is a special place to visit. Also, the journey from Vienna to/from is a big part of this experience. The drive through the country roads through the small towns and crossing the border is a great contrast to the big city feel of Vienna. Our driver/guide Peter is a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to travel with.

I loved this tour! The journey from Vienna was filled with the most spectacular landscapes and we appreciated the information shared by our guide along the way. May poles in tiny villages, spring flowers and colourful homes made this trip very special. Our guide found time to stop at the Czech border where we saw for ourselves remnants of the iron curtain. Then we arrived in Cesky Krumlov and it took our breath away. Frozen in time, this fairytale like castle and surrounding village were truly amazing. The guide was interesting, knowledgeable and ever so friendly. This place is a hidden treasure and we were so grateful to have joined this tour. It’s a must,

Didn’t know this town existed before looking for things to do. This was a great trip, seeing parts of the former areas between the east and west were cool, Marcus was a great guide. Totally recommend this trip if you’re in the area.

Our trip was more than my family and I imagined. Our driver/guide, Balazs was wonderful. Very informative and detailed. The city itself was just as the photos posted. Very storybook feel. We were nervous about not knowing any of the language, many of the businesses we encountered spoke enough English to get by. I highly recommend this trip it was a full 12+ hours, but well worth it.

A memorable day from start to finish. Hotel pick up exactly on time, amazing driver and guide, Balazs, who I felt completely safe with his driving as well as being super knowledgeable about everything! Cesky Krumlov was the most picturesque place with just enough time for our guided tour as well as plenty of free time. Highly recommend this tour 🥰

My family and I took a day trip from Vienna to Cesky Krumlov and enjoyed it immensely! We were picked up at our Airbnb in Vienna by Peter of White Alligator Tours (arranged through Viator) promptly at the appointed time. The van was clean and comfortable, and Peter provided a running dialog of interesting information about Vienna and the surrounding area as we travelled to Cesky Krumlov. Once we arrived Vladamira, a local guide, showed us around the city and castle, making sure we knew were everything was. After that we had time to explore the city center on our own, during which we had an excellent lunch at a local restaurant, did some shopping, and further explored the castle. On the return trip Peter took a different route back to Vienna, allowing us to see new scenery. We were very pleased both with Cesky Krumlov and our guides, and highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys Medieval towns and castles.
