Could not recommend Nico & this tour more. Definitely book this tour if you are interested in Venice outside of the high tourist areas, and definitely if you if you want to understand the architecture and how Venice today came to be. His deep knowledge of the history of Venice as well as his ability to guide us based on what we found interesting was fantastic. He was enthusiastic, you can tell he truly loves and respects the city. Thanks Nico!

Nico provided a great walking tour and history of Venice. Not just telling you about the history, but showing you places all around the city. Because it's a smaller tour you move quickly and see a lot. Nico is a native of Venice and knows it well. I really enjoyed learning about his city. It's a great way to immerse yourself in Venice.

My husband and I were traveling to Italy with our 13 yo and 10 yo daughters. This tour was the absolute best way to start our time in Venice. Nico is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. He was easy to communicate with and met us promptly at our hotel. He was happy to adjust the itinerary according to our interests. The city can be a little confusing to navigate even with Google Maps. Our 2 hour tour helped us get our bearings and see the highlights of the city while avoiding tourist traps. As a native Venetian, he knows the city inside and out. Nico’s information about the city’s history made everything come to life. We would’ve missed a lot of cool and interesting things had it not been for the tour & our kids loved it too! Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to make the most of Venice!

He shared many interesting stories about the history and culture of Venice as he led us through streets and alleys and across bridges over the canals of the city. Wonderful walking tour- picked us up at our hotel and showed us through the winding tunnels on Venice. Showed us great places to eat, drink, visit, and ended the tour right at St Marco’s square (with instruction how to get back ha). Loved the private, intimate tour- our guide was easy to understand, funny and never a dull moment.

Nico’s tour of Venice was amazing! He went above and beyond! It was like meeting up with a friend. The entire tour was very personable and he knows Venice very well! He showed us some traditional masters at work and provided recommendations for local Venetian cuisine. The best part was the fish market and St. Mark’s Square! The quick gondola ride was the icing on top! Overall a very thoughtful and inclusive experience!

Nico was a fantastic! Venice is way more than just St Mark’s Square and Nico showed us that. Plus we got to go on a quick gondola ride! Great way to get an overview of the city and learn about the early history of the area. Just know there’s a lot of walking :)

Great tour with Nico. Very pleased with his knowledge of local history and walking tour. We had the best places to take pictures and great recommendations for local restaurants and shopping tips. Expected more from a gondola ride that was only 2 minutes across the bridge. Since title of the tour mentioned gondola ride, I was expecting 30 minutes or so on a gondola. Overall, it was a great walking tour with local guide, but I would not call it gondola ride. Thank you!
