This was exactly what we were looking for! Ricardo was personable and very knowledgeable about the Valdobbiodene region where Prosecco DOCG is produced. We visited two wineries. The venues were beautiful and the Proseccos were outstanding! We also went up to a high point in the region to get an overview of the entire valley. It was a great day, great guide and everything we could have imagined! Highly recommend Ricardo and this tour!

We had a wonderful time with Riccardo, who took great care of us. A truly lovely discovery. The experience is generous, with two tastings at two wineries, accompanied by charcuterie and cheese boards. The view over the vineyards is breathtaking, and the guide’s explanations are very clear. What a beautiful day spent in Prosecco Hill! Riccardo was a great tour guide and we felt so comfortable. He picked great wineries. I cant say enough great things about the location, the delicious food and wines we tried and the lovely people of this town. Must do if you are staying in Venice! You will learn all about the history of real Prosecco wine.

Ricardo is a perfect host- his wine knowledge is unparalleled, his familiarity of the Prosecco region, its history, and the wine making process is outstanding but the most impressive part of our day was the way my wife and I were treated as family by not only Ricardo but by the owners of both family run wineries we visited
At both locations we were embraced warmly and were made to feel very special. With Ricardo, the feeling generated was one between friends who have known each other for a long time, not just a few hours
My wife and I cannot wait to revisit the area and to once again renew our friendship with Ricardo on another tour of the areas wineries. Ricardo and his tours are a MUST SEE for anyone visiting the area and especially for wine lovers

This was a fabulous addition to our Venice trip. Highly recommended. The first winery pietrovecchio, was my favorite. All the bites of food at both wineries were delicious as well. I will never fail to buy DOCG! You will also realize how close you are to the Southern Alps.

The tour guide, Riccardo was fantastic- extremely knowledgeable about Italy , its food and its wine. Spoke perfect English. The 2 vineyards we went to were fantastic - right in the heart of the high quality prosecco area. They were part of the family and very passionate about their proseccos. The wines were excellent and the food was fantastic as well. The scenery was incredible. Highly recommend this trip.

Spent the day exploring the Prosecco Hills and it was absolutely unforgettable. We learned so much from Riccardo about the region—especially the differences between DOC and DOCG—and gained a whole new appreciation for the craft behind Prosecco. The landscapes were stunning, with rolling hills and vineyards in every direction.
We visited two family-owned wineries that have been passed down through generations, and the Prosecco was incredible—fresh, elegant, and clearly made with so much pride and tradition. It made the experience feel even more special knowing the history behind each bottle.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. Great wine, beautiful views, and a deeper understanding of what makes Prosecco so unique.

Ricardo is an excellent guide. This is one of the best winery tours we have ever been on- we have been to Napa, Southern California, Oregon, etc. The wine markers were so informative, welcoming and fun! We learned so much and had so much fun on our tour today. We would definitely book again!

Riccardo was absolutely fantastic! We had the best day exploring the Valdobbiadene region and Riccardo set up two great wine tastings at family run wineries, in addition to taking us to a great spot for pictures. Riccardo is a sommelier and very knowledgeable not only about the region, but also about wine and wine making in general. Could not have asked for a more perfect tour!

Our Prosecco experience was amazing! Riccardo, our tour person was the best expert and sommelier in the area.
We started in Venice, Riccardo picked us up and took in his car all the way to the DOCG area where first prosecco was made. We have learned so much about the history of the town and how the wine was made. The first winery called Petrovecchio was stunning. It’s located high in the mountains and the views were amazing. We had opportunity to try 5 different kinds of prosecco and learned in details how it was made. The host Laura was amazing and super nice! She kept bringing us a lot of wine and food.
After that we drove to the second winery La Casa Vecchia, another cute and beautiful place. Our tables for tasting was outside so we could admire beautiful hills. We again had a tour at the winery with the owner and and learned more about their place. We started a tasting and the amount of wine they gave us to try was unbelievable (half of a glass of each prosecco type). They also served us their local food - super delicious.
After the second winery we went to the car and drove back to Venice.
Again Riccardo was super nice and never rushed us if we wanted to spend more time in the field to enjoy the views and to try the grapes. He also brought us some figs straight from the tree.
Our group was only 5 people, wich is amazing and very intimate. We had a chance to ask questions and really relax. The views are breathtaking and the experience was top of the top. I would give 6 stars if we could. If you are looking for a real Prosecco experience this is the tour you should book.
It’s also very convenient because you have a pick up and drop off in Venice so after your tour you can stay and see some canals and enjoy the vibe.
We will be definitely coming back here again.

We had the most amazing tour with Riccardo today. We visited two beautiful wineries and tasted lots of amazing wines, with plenty of breads, cheeses, salami’s etc. Riccardo was so knowledgeable and very patient and accommodating. We 100% recommend this tour and loved having a relaxing day away from the crowds. Thanks Riccardo for a great day. This is a definite highlight of our trip to Italy.

My husband and I enjoy wine and have done numerous wine tasting tours. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Not only is Riccardo an expert about wines, but he learns about his guests as well to ensure their experience is perfect for them. I wish we had more time in Venice because I would have booked another day with him to do more wineries.

My group of 4 had an amazing day in the Prosecco Hills with Riccardo as our guide! On the drive from Venice, he shared his knowledge of the history and winemaking processes of the region. He first took us to a scenic lookout for photos and a beautiful view of the valley. We then visited 2 excellent family-owned wineries. Ample food and generous pours were offered at both locations. Both hosts at the winery were friendly and knowledgeable, and had an evident rapport with Riccardo. Riccardo also assisted us with coordinating shipping bottles of wine back to the US. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip, and we highly recommend this tour for couples or groups interested in learning more about the excellent Prosecco produced near Venice.

Riccardo was a knowledgeable, considerate, and very friendly guide. He is also an excellent driver. His choice of vineyards was superb.
Our 1st stop was the Pietrovecchio family vineyard where Laura Pietrovecchio led us through a very interesting vine to glass explanation of prosecco. She made it very interesting. Next came the sampling along with an abundant charcuterie board. The samples were large pours with the opportunity for more of whatever we wanted. She is a very knowledgeable young woman with a passion for her craft and a very warm personality. The prosecco was varied and delicious.
The 2nd winery, La Casa Vecchia was just as good and also different. The owner, Emanuele, gave us a tour and built upon what we had learned from Laura. The samplings were also abundant and delicious. His wife brought out a charcuterie board and hot pizza which she served under a very large, shady mulberry tree overlooking their gorgeous vineyard.
Both vineyards were beautiful and offered abundant, delicious prosecco and food. We bought from both vineyards, but there was absolutely no pressure from anyone to do so. Better hosts and a better guide are to be found no where. This tour was phenomenal!
