A great way to experience a cooking class with a true Venetian in his home! We felt so comfortable and welcomed, and learned so much about his family history, the canals and cooking secrets!! The wine was flowing as we cooked our way through amazing conversation. I would definitely recommend this experience!

We ♥️ed Lorenzo .. outstanding menu . We communicated the day of our event , on menu choices , drinks and directions .. of course it was a bit confusing on the directions . We arrived 11 of us … Lorenzo home was small but very well appointed for this event ..we prepared .. freshly caught fish ..homemade pasta ( we made) , ravioli and spaghetti,artichoke hearts and fresh fish . It was Delcious. Thank you Lorenzo. We had so much fun

Our family had a wonderful time learning to cook with Lorenzo. He was well organized and efficient, with a wonderful space in a great location. The variety of food was perfect and level of participation was great - allowing for both kids and adults to get in on the cooking action. It was both a special and a simple one. Something easy to make at home during the week or formal up for a party with friends. He also provided some great tips for places to eat in our next city. We enjoyed his cooking, his humor and his welcoming us into his home.

Lorenzo is the best! My husband loves to cook, and Lorenzo took his skills to the next level. He was patient with both of us and showed us how to cook from scratch, not only pasta, but also tiramisu and sea bass. If you are in this area and looking for a private cooking class, you have found one here, and you'll need no other!

What a wonderful way to enjoy Venice! Lorenzo was patient and explained basics of italian pasta. He has a great sense of humor and our meal was so so delicious. Lorenzo guided us on public transportation back to our hotel. Highly recommend !

The food was very yummi and Maurizio was also very nice. He is a good chef. There is still some potential in terms of hosting - but perhaps he was just not vibing with the group. He did everything to make the group happy in the kitchen. What would be nice at the end would be to get the receipe to replicate the experience at home. Other than that: lovely evening, great and fresh food. Was also fun to see how „venetians live“.

A great experience with a great chef. Very nice kitchen and everything was right on time and as advertised. Lorenzo was so welcoming and let us do as much cooking as we wanted. Hand made our own pasta. We recommend you get to meeting point early and walk down the canal to Sottobanco (sp?) for happy hour. Very good wine and low price and right on the canal.

We had the best time with Lorenzo! This was such a fun and learning experience. We made pasta, which will be easy to do at home; made Tiramisu, which I will be making for a dinner party on Friday night; and a delicious sauce with eggplant. Lorenzo made sure everyone had a chance to try each activity and participate. The food was delicious! I would recommend cooking with Lorenzo!

Viator meeting directions are terrible

Viator directions and service are incredibly poor , unbelievable that they as a company cannot get an addres correct ! Once chef located class was great but Viator is terrible ! Absolute Viator has issues as a company

Lorenzo was very friendly and very informative, it was a great and fun time! We made ricotta cheese and spinach ravioli, baked sea bass with toppings of our choice and made tiramisu for dessert. He was great at teaching and gave lots of tips for our visit!

Best cooking class in Venice!

Lorenzo was our cooking class teacher and he was the greatest! He was a true Venetian, born and raised. We cooked in his condo which was all setup for a group class. Small group with one other couple our age. Lots of fun and he had a good sense of humor. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice!

A Wonderful Experience!

My mom and I had such a great time with this! Lorenzo was a fantastic host, we learned a lot from him about the local food and restaurants, and the pasta and tiramisu we made were amazing! I highly recommend doing this, it is one of the things that made our time in Venice so magical. Note: pay close attention to the meeting location! Viator gave us the address of a restaurant up the street as well as a meeting point by the boat stop. When we asked the waitress at the restaurant about it, she told us the booking was “truffa” (fraud). Apparently we were the second group they told this to, but IT IS NOT FRAUD. The ‘meeting point’ directions were correct.

Der Kochabend mit Lorenzo war sehr gut. Wir waren nur zu zweit. Wir haben u.a. Pasta selber hergestellt und dabei Tipps und Tricks erhalten. Zum Dessert gab es ein feines Tiramisu. Es war ein sehr kurzweiliger und schöner Abend. Wir können es nur empfehlen.
