Don’t go - they don’t want you

The staff were not aware of this experience and sent me away several times. After 27 minutes, a manager finally figured out about the experience I had purchased. They would not let us visit the garden or sit in the garden sections as advertised. They also had no idea about the app with the audio tour. They did provide a snack and drink as advertised. I would recommend not going and that this be taken down until the people who work there can be trained how to deliver the services

The gondola guy didn’t...

Great Ride and Food - TOUR GUIDE A NO-SHOW!

The gondola ride was lovely, serenade beautiful and the dinner was charming. However, the tour guide never showed up so we had a terrible time boarding the gondola and understanding any details about the dinner. We were virtually unaccompanied and probably could have had a better experience doing this without a tour.

In the past we have had excellent Viator trips. Unfortunately this one was very disappointing. No guide was there to greet us or guide us to our gondola location. The gondola manager lost our paper confirmation and we had to find our own way to the restaurant after the ride which was very difficult.The food was mediocre at best. Hopefully Vitor will correct the situation.

Terrible experience

We had the Gondola with music and dinner. Received a text message to confirm location and instructions which was scheduled for 6:30. We arrived at the location 45 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. Nobody was there with the sign. We asked around and nobody knew. We got in the gondola with another couple but there was no music. The ride ended in 30 minutes and there was no dinner.

Fun gondola, forgettable dinner

The gondola ride and music were actually great, in the late afternoon it is a lot less crowded, and the music was excellent. The dinner wasn't that great, we had to negotiate with the staff to use our voucher, and the food wasn't anything wonderful. Stick to the ride, try the Restaurant Caravelle just over the bridge.

Best way to do a Gondola Ride

We opted for the Gondola ride with Singers - the 2 gentlemen who sang to us were friendly and extremely entertaining. Certainly the best way to experience a Gondola Ride. The restaurant however was very disappointing - the starters on offer are delicious however the mains on offer leave much to be desired - the food was bland and not very "Italian". The service on arrival at the restaurant was poor and the waiter who originally served us was very abrupt - luckily someone else took over our table. Viator should really look at better menu options on this package for the mains.
