Led by a group of native Valencian cooks, you’ll shop at the market for all the necessary ingredients while learning about the origins of paella and its importance to the city. You’ll be guided step-by-step in preparing your paella, and then enjoy eating it along with other Spanish tapas.

This is a fun, interactive cultural experience. You’ll be glad you did it! We were with people from England, Puerto Rico, Switzerland and the United States. The cooking environment is welcoming and the final product is tasty. It’s time well spent.

This class was SO fun. My husband participated in the traditional paella making and my daughter and I made the vegetarian version. The teachers were fun, inclusive, and energetic. We learned how to make this traditional dish and also tasted tapas, sangria, and some other drinks and dessert and dessert wine. We learned a lot, made a few friends, and enjoyed a delicious meal.

The paella making class was top notch. Our hosts/chefs were warm and welcoming and made everyone feel included. I would highly recommend this visit. We just made the vegetarian paella and it was delicious. My family included an 11-year-old son and a 15-year-old daughter. Everyone in the group enjoyed the whole experience. If you visit Valencia, this is a must do.

Brilliant way to spend a day in Valencia! The market was lovely and the class was great fun! We learnt how to make paella and the instructors were friendly and fun. Tapas before the cooking was such a treat and the sangria was delicious too! This was the highlight of our trip!

My First Paella was a great way to spend half the day in Valencia! Anna and Jordie were amazing hosts and chefs making the whole experience so fun and engaging! The food was delicious, drinks flowing and we learnt a lot! I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Valencia as it’s one of the only ways to get a proper fresh paella 🥘
