This cooking class was SO much fun and definitely the highlight of our València stop! Rafa was an exceptional host and very highly organized. Pickup and drop off, appetizers, beverages, drinks and desserts were all beyond great. The staff is incredibly friendly and the paella was authentically delicious! The best cooking experience in the countryside, would recommend to anyone! You won’t regret this one!

This class was so fun. The tour guide, Julieta, was an absolute delight. Rafa, the chef, was very kind, knowledgeable, and funny. Youyou are shuttled from the city roughly 40 minutes into the countryside where you get to spend the day laughing, learning to cook paella, sipping refreshing sangria wine beer or soft drinks, and taking in the beautiful scenery of the orchard.

This was the highlight of our trip to Valencia. Rafa and Julieta were amazingly friendly and helpful and made us feel like we were at home. The paella turned out fabulous and was by far the best meal we ate during our entire trip. We didn’t want to leave and I would recommend this to anyone who visiting Valencia!

We had a wonderful time. Well organised and plenty of laughs and information. Juliet contacted us the day before with a reminder of our meeting point. The Paella cooking course is a little way out of the centre but all transport arranged and it was good to see some of the countryside. Rafa is brilliant at the cooking of Paella and offers loads of additional information. What was also nice was it was a small group around 10 of us so sitting down to eat our cooked Paella was liking sitting at a table with friends. Would highly recommend.

What an absolute joy to spend these hours with our tour guides, along with Rafa and his team. Communication from Julieta was spot on and appreciated. Meeting point clearly explained. The drive to Rafa’s home was comfortable and Julieta conversed about what we were passing while being a very safe driver.
We were warmly welcomed by Rafa as soon as we pulled up, entered his patio, offered cold beverages and proceeded up into his garden to pick our fresh rosemary to be used in our paella. This was the perfect paella cooking class, out of the city in the beautiful countryside near Parque Natural de la Albufera. Rafa was a perfect host, an excellent step by step instructor and the best Paella Master…WOW WOW WOW!!!
As Rafa speaks his native Spanish, Julieta interpreted everything he said and was able to carry out his sense of humor. They were a perfect team and enhanced the experience. We were all welcomed in to Rafa’s home just like we were truly his guests and even his friends. Rafa you are a gem!
The cold beverages, tapas, PAELLA, Sangria, fresh made cake by Rafa that morning, watermelon and after dinner wine were all excellent. Rafa’s team moved about seamlessly, clearing plates, filling wine glasses and scrubbing our Paella pans.
This experience was truly unforgettable and 100% worth it.

Our host ( Rafa - sp.? ) was very hospitable, charming, knowledgeable funny!! His translator, Julieta, was a good translator, did not interrupt Rafa, was kind and engaged.
The added portion of making sangria was a pleasant surprise and addition.

WOW WOW WOW! Highlight of our trip for sure. Rafa and his team made this cooking class so much fun and informative. We had SUCH a good time learning to make Paella, Sangria, and enjoyed some snacks/apps as well. They are. Generous with their time and Rafa is an amazing teacher. My rather and I agreed that this was easily the best part of our trip to Spain. We now plan to always incorporate some type of cooking class in our trips in the future. Lastly, Rafa’s home is amazing - it’s’ a beautiful backdrop and numerous people from the group who did city cooking classes recommended this one over all of the others. Glad I chose right! We had the best time ever! Rafa was so lovely and put so much care and effort into the whole experience! The house we did it at was beautiful - gorgeous countryside views and many orange trees! The paella was fun to make, and extra food and drinks were delicious. Thank you Rafa!

I purchased this for my brother and his partner. He is a know it all, who is difficult to please. I called him after this experience and he absolutely LOVED it. The person who led it was fun and sociable; the paella lesson was great; the snacks, wine and sangria were excellent; and most of all, the group was friendly and ready to have a great time. I had done this cooking class last year, and I wanted him to experience it too. I highly recommend this program.

The pick up point was easy to find (we walked from the cruise ship). The kitchen in the orange grove was stunning. We all had the best time. It was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely recommend.

Skip the cooking classes in the city center, where it’s just with restaurants and go to Raffa’s home in a beautiful setting to really enjoy and savor more of Spain, its culture and its food. We loved this class and that there were vegetarian options for our teen!

Wow, wow, wow! One of the best experiences we have had in Spain. Rafa, Julieta and Arturo are a great team and fun to spend time with. We had a friend from Valencia with us and she thoroughly enjoyed the time as well. One added bonus is we had a couple of vegetarians with us and they got to make their own vegetarian paella! Fantástico!
