Came to this class to learn how to make paella, which we did, and it was a great experience, but my favorite thing was learning how to make a Valencia “cocoa,” which is cake. Very simple recipe that is very versatile and very delicious. We also learned how to make a tortilla Española. Well worth it. Wonderful experience.

When you come to Valencia do not miss the opportunity to join in this cooking class. Our host had such a great personality, did a great job showing and explaining how to make a great paella. So delicious, everything. I loved the sponge cake as well. Great hosts and a wonderful time

WOW‼️ this cooking class was so much fun and our food tasted delicious. The “Chef” was a delight, he went between Spanish and English seamlessly so we all could understand the process. Us 4 american’s LOVED our experience we would for sure recommend this cooking class.

Group of 10 at a large table. Nice clean well equipped kitchen. Started with a few snacks and water/sangria. The chef was excellent and funny. He explained the 3 things we would be cooking (tortilla, chicken/rabbit paella and cake) particularly the different types of paella and what you could add versus not. He explained preparing things (hands on) as well particularly how to cook the paella and the pitfalls of not doing so.

Not your typical tourist spot— I would not miss this

We didn't know what to expect when we booked thia tour, but we had so much fun and learned alot about cooking! The chef and sommelier were fantastic and funny, and were very skilled in getting everyone involved, including a couple of kids that were in the group. We prepared the vegetables, added ingredients and spices to the paella, made a cake, and even flipped the pan with the tortilla (egg and potato omelet)!

This was an enjoyable, informative & delicious experience. Our visit was on a Sunday, so the market was closed, so we made the paella, Spanish tortilla & a cake! It was really interesting to learn about the process of making paella & the different variations. This was an incredible meal & large lunch. We left full & happy!

It is a fun class to take solo or with a group of people. Chef Carlos was very nice and outgoing and made sure all people in the class were participating in the cooking. He gave us background information and was providing step by step on how to prepare the paella. Loved the experience so much would definitely do it again!

The chef was easy going and humourless, and taught in a simple manner with simple tasks offered to all in attendance, while not being mandatory to do. There was plentiful sangria, red and white wine, and food for all! Although we were disappointed that the market was closed, we still considered this a great experience

Lovely place, we had a nice chat with our group and the hosts made us feel very welcome. The cooking part was super easy, I expected to be a bit more involved, but in the end I really appreciated all three dishes and the dynamics between the hosts and the group. In addition to learning how to make true paella, I also learned a lot of new cooking/baking techniques from the chef. We made paella, an omelette appetizer, and a delicious cake. Sangria and wine were included. Highly recommend this workshop.

We had a wonderful time learning how to make the traditional Valencia paella. Our instructor Carlos is dynamic and knowledgeable. All the students goy to participate in one way or another. The food was delicious and the school is very generous with the drinks & food. Highly recommend this activity.
