Few day before my trip was telling me that certain activity was cancelled due to bad weather. I thought will replaced some others activity but no. So we just drove snow mobile on that day.

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you still got to enjoy the snowmobile experience, though we understand that the cancellation of the snow park portion was disappointing. Unfortunately, due to adverse weather conditions, the snow park sustained damage, and for safety reasons, it had to be covered with tarps. We made sure to inform all guests about this in advance, and a partial refund was provided for the canceled snow park portion.

As others have said, you don't get a lot of time on the snowmobile considering the cost of the tour. However it's well organised, a very scenic drive there and a good experience, something I'd never tried before so would recommend it. The lunch and drinks provided were delicious too.
Camp Tamok is a nice set up and the people working there are very friendly and helpful. It's also possible to see huskies before they go for a run.
The ice domes are a nice add on but I wouldn't pay to see them separately - it's quite a small area. The same goes for the reindeer.

Had a really good day, our favourite trip of the holiday. Snowmobiling was so much fun, got a good 45-50mins each out on the snowmobile (wish it was more!). The food in the lavvu was really good and a nice experience speaking with other people on the trip and the staff. The staff were really good and couldn’t do more for you! Ice domes/snow park was impressive but there was a bit of a wait between food/going into the snow park.

Snow mobile was great, BUT the snow park was only 2-3 sculptures, with huskies/reindeers all in cages. Non-alcoholic drinks were not served, when I asked the part-time guide, she can only feedback to the management (the ice bar is also not ready)
Yah, so there were only 2 ice chairs in 1 ice bedroom. That's all! The poor part-time young guide was trying hard to entertain us 😓 Appreciate her effort, but the whole affair left a bad overall impression

The staff were all very kind and helpful in explaining everything. The snowmobile experience was definitely fun, I hope we could drive faster but I guess we couldn't because there were too many of us. The lamb stew and berry juice were very delicious. Agree with other reviews that the reindeers visit was just a place where the Sami people keep their reindeers. One can only see a few of them from far and behind fences. Ice domes were beautifully constructed and worth a visit.

We had an unexpected extremely tragic death in our family the night before the tour. As soon as I found out we would have to immediately leave Tromso, I contacted the company. They refused to give us a refund despite the circumstances. Very disappointing

This was a great experience. The snowmobiling was perfect for beginners and families. My parents (who are in their 60s) really enjoyed the trip and so did I! Highly recommend— if you are worried about speed, it goes 15-20mph on mostly flat areas. Very easy to learn and we had a great guide. 10/10 recommend

What a fun day! It was our first time ever snowmobiling and we felt totally confident after our guide’s thorough run thru. The time on the snowmobiles was awesome and it was just breathtakingly beautiful!
Loved the midday soup/cider stop in the warming hut and then on to the fantastic ice sculpture hotel. Not sure I’d ever be brave enough to sleep there, but it was incredible to tour. The carvings were amazing.
10/10 recommend this day trip when in Tromso!

This was a very well organized day. Everyone was so helpful and willing to make your day special.
It's about a 90 minute drive each way, 2 hrs of snowmobile, 1 hr of lunch and about an hour of visiting the reindeers and ice dome.
I recommend this activity for your family.

Was a well organised trip..but didn't get much help or instructions for the snowmobiling. Perhaps a little practice..and 1 on 1 tuition. Before being taken out on the track!!

We were the third of three groups to get out on the snowmobiles and were delayed by 15 minutes because they got the numbers wrong and had to get another snowmobile out. We were then moved onto the first group halfway through to even out the numbers. This meant our experience also finished 15 minutes earlier giving us less than 30 minutes each on the snowmobiles. With 40 plus people on the experience we felt very overlooked. I raised how little we had been out for afterwards and was basically ignored.
The camp and ice domes were good, but agree with the other reviews that the ‘reindeer visit’ is misleading. They said there was a farm with 100s of reindeer not very far away but no opportunity to see it. The ice domes were very cool, but ‘guided tour’ is a bit of an overstatement, we were took into the main room and then allowed to walk around independently. For the amount we spent, I believe there are much better value things to do.

Snowmobile tour was really professional but a bit short in my humble opinion. The reindeer soup was tasty. On the way to the ice domes we saw a couple of semi domesticated Reindeers and we learned more about their behavior with some fun facts about their markings and life.
The presentation of the Ice Domes was awesome.

I gave it 3 stars as it took so long to get suited and booted - probably 30 mins and then we stood outside for another 30 minutes to get on the snowmobile and since the activity was timed i feel we wasted a lot of time doing not much and then had a comparatively short ride on the snowmobile. Not impressed at all. The reindeers were in an enclosure we could see them from a short distance. The ice dome / hotel is good for maybe a 10 minute visit and there you will get a minute shot of some berry drink in an ice shot glass.

The tour is very well organised. The oversuit is very warm. We were wearing ski trousers underneath and it was quite warm, you can wear jeans and be fine. The snowmobile course is scenic and apart from a couple of uphill sections, very easy and enjoyable. The stew was very good. The reindeer were few and were sleeping when we visited. The dogs were very friendly and the ice domes quite interesting to visit. Overall a very pleasant experience and good day out.

The guides were fantastic! They seen our abilities and gave us opportunity to drive faster. Unfortunately we had to wait over half an hour for everyone to arrive in the shed. I assume it wasn’t communicated well enough that we meet up straight away. Therefore we only had 1 hour of driving.
The stew was very nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The reindeer herd were 6 sleeping reindeer in an enclosure ( should not be advertised as part of tour).
The ice domes were a bit of a letdown and we were a bit rushed, but the art work was spectacular.
The bus drivers were friendly and safe, the one on the way back even ran commentary. All in all an good day.

Tour from start to finish flowed well overall. Guides arrived early and were organized. They managed a large family with many kids, in addition to other participants who were older.
Snowmobiling was far more physically challenging than our family expected, and it was still super fun and memorable. Our 2 snowmobiling guides were experienced, patient, and efficient.
Lunch was warm and tasty and the people serving were uber friendly. We enjoyed the black currant juice a lot.
The Ice Domes were incredible to walk through, and our guide was knowledgeable, flexible, and entertaining. The video that detailed how they were built was educational and added to the tour. It did occur to us though, that the amount of time, energy, and resources devoted to this every year was astounding.
The reindeer visit was less remarkable. They had apparently just eaten a large meal and were resting on the snow. There were less than 10 there, and they just looked tired. Still cool to see, but they somehow looked sad.
We would recommend this tour for those who want a varied experience, in one package, and want to keep it simple.

Great overall experience. At arrival we got a short explanation for the clothes, risk, insurance etc. After that we got an explanation on how the snowmobile works and started riding. I think the ride was about 30 minutes untill the Middle - 15 minute break - 30 minutes back. After that we stayed in a cosy tent and got served reindeer stew, some sort of breas and some traditional Norse Berry drink, which were nice. After that we went to the impressive ice domes, in which they explain how theyre made and some reasoning behind the sculptures inside, which gave some information about norse exploration history. At last you are free to roam around on your own in the ice hotel and enjoy the rest of the Day before you go back by bus, which takes about 1,5 to 2 hours depending on the conditions. If you're not sure weather to choose only the snowmobile tour, or also include the ice domes, I'd highly recommend both since this will fill up the entree Day.

Funny experienced guides who kept us safe. Beautiful scenery all around us. Warm suits provided and we enjoyed hot stew and banter in the Sami tent after our excursion. The Ice domes were interesting with lovely Ice carvings. The reindeer were behind their enclosure and a little shy. Overall it was a lovely day out.

It was an incredible experience. We can only recommend it! Anyone can drive a distance. The steering is heated and you are equipped with everything. First, you practice on a "training ground" something that gives you security for the tour. Our guide Ariana was very friendly and paid great attention and brought us back safely. It was wonderful!

Le motoslitte sono fantastiche il tempo dedicato ad esso era giusto non troppo e non poco più che altro perché tenere una motoslitta per un principiante non è una cosa facile e richiede energia, per quanto riguarda ice dome me lo aspettavo più grande e bello di quello che fanno vedere le foto invece sono solo 3/4 sculture la visita alla Farm delle renne non è un must perché praticamente sono dietro al campo quindi se avete 10 minuti potete andarci da soli a vederle la cosa più spettacolare sono le tende tipiche che sono calde e il personale è stato gentilissimo consiglio vivamente il blueberry juice caldo. Sicuramente da tornarci e pernottare a camp Tamok

En raison de 2 motoneiges sur 6 qui n'allaient vraiment pas vite, moins vite pas possible, c'était compréhensible mais très très gênant pour les autres ; nous restons sur une frustration. De plus les rennes : on a passé 10 minutes à regarder moins de 10 rennes dans un enclos !!!!

Un merveilleux moment passé. Une super organisation. Des activités au top. La moto neige a été super avec de très beaux paysage à coupé le souffle et un merveilleux temps.
Nous avons bien manger dans un magnifique tipi avec feu de cheminée . Un rencontre avec quelque rennes avec des explications (ne pas s’attendre à voir un troupeau de centaine de rennes) et une activité et visite au tour des dômes des glaces magnifique moment et explications .
