- The itinerary may be subject to change or certain visits or transportation may be omitted or substituted due to heavy traffic, weather conditions, or other operational reasons. Even in such circumstances, the tour may not be canceled, and the tour fare will not be refunded.
- If the Sumida River Cruise is suspended for operational reasons, an alternative option might involve taking the Tokyo Bay Cruise (approximately 50 minutes, including the river cruise) departing from Odaiba Island via Rainbow Bridge. In such a scenario, the visit to Hama-Rikyu Gardens will be omitted.
- If both the Sumida River Cruise and the Tokyo Bay Cruise are unavailable due to operational reasons or weather conditions, an alternative route may involve driving through Odaiba Island via Rainbow Bridge and taking the Metro Expressway to Asakusa by bus.
- If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, unfortunately, we are unable to provide special meals. In such cases, we kindly ask you to choose the tour option without lunch.
- Children up to 5 years old can join the tour for free. However, please be aware that bus seats and lunch will not be provided at no cost. If bus seats or lunch are required for a child, the applicable child fare will be charged.
- A taxi may be utilized for pick-up and return services. Due to operational reasons, a guide may not accompany you during pick-up and return services. Pick-up services at each hotel are available when the reservation is made more than one hour before the scheduled pick-up time.
- The tour duration is approximately 9 hours. The remaining time will be allotted for pick up and travel time in between the attractions .
- The tour involves a good amount of walking outdoors. We suggest wearing sneakers or comfortable shoes. Please prepare rain gear in case of bad weather.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 40 travelers

The experience was very fulfilling although some time to look up the knives and kitchen ware would've been great. It is advised not to take this tour the day before you leave Tokyo because there is a lot to absorb. We got to see a Japanese wedding at the Meiji Shinto shrine. Yuki imparted lot of information and her vibrant energy sent out good vibes.

Very good program to see the most important site in Tokyo. I have enough time to see what was in the program. The tour guide was very knowledgeable explain everything in details.

Excellent way to orient yourself in Tokyo.

This was a wonderful tour. Not too touristy. Our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable. They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in a comfortable bus. We were lucky and had a small group of only 7. It was a well balanced tour with just the right amount of walking and the lunch was good.

From hotel pick up to drop off, it was an excellent experience. We had a morning guide and an afternoon guide who took the time to explain the significance of each site and answered our questions. Lunch was delicious.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! The company was very organized getting us to the bus and our guide was friendly, informative and helpful at the end with figuring out how to get back to our hotel (not one of the places they do pickups). We signed up the for the full-day tour which had pickup from a nearby hotel at 8:10AM. As the day progressed we realized this was not going to end at 4PM but more like 7:00PM or 7:30PM. We decided to peel off from the group after the river boat ride because with our limited time in town we had things we wanted to do. Even so, we definitely felt that we got the full value out of what we paid and there was no problem with us leaving when we did. I would sign up and take this tour again, but I might only do the morning half because it was a very efficient use of time.

This was an overall good experience. The tour guides were knowledgeable. However, lunch was just OK and would’ve been nice if it came with an explanation of the foods and Japanese culture. The boat cruise came with no explanation and wasn’t really enjoyable for me.

My family and I have used other tour services when traveling on vacation, and this was my mother and my most favorite tour by far!
Huge credit goes to the entire team for making this trip so fun, exciting, and absolutely first class. The tour was smooth and scenic, and provided first class quality service and care. There is no other tour in Tokyo that offered bus pick-up and drop-off service for each customer, the bus was very comfortable and clean, the itinerary was incredible - while still being affordable! Even before the tour, the team was very engaging and responsive our meal customizations due to dietary limits, to answering other questions. The team exemplified class, empathy, care, and understanding the importance of the customer experience.

Taken to some very interesting places however too many people were booked from many hotels which were a long way from each other, which caused being late and caught in traffic. No toilet stops but people caused more delays going. Communication from guide was poor.

Exactly what I wanted (i.e. maximized sightseeing during my one day Tokyo visit) - and the guides (there were two of them) spoke very good / easily understandable English. As per the advance tour description we visited the Meiji Jingu Shrine, Tokyo Tower, Hama-Rikyu Gardens, the Asakusa Kannon (Sensoji Buddhist) Temple, and took a Sumida River Cruise; we also passed-by Harajuku, Shibuya Crossing, Roppongi, the Imperial Palace, the National Diet, Ginza, the Tokyo Skytree, Kappabashi Town, and Ueno & Akihabara. There was also a surprisingly good Japanese-style Lunch. It's a long day (especially since I took trains from and back-to Yokohama) but that's necessary to see as much of Tokyo as possible. Highly recommended tour & guides - arigato!

Gray Line provided a well organised trip. They packed in so many sights, the guides gave interesting insights into the sights, the culture and about what it is like to live in Tokyo. The lunch was at a lovely restaurant and was delicious.

Absolutely outstanding! We were lost arrived late and missed the bus pickup. They left a staff member at the hotel and they called ahead to the bus grabbed a cab and took us to meet it. Tour it’s self was also great but the service 5 stars.

Spent 1 hour picking people up, waiting people to get on after each stop, afternoon stops had delays, boat trip cancelled and final stop also. We stopped and they offered us a taxi back to our hotel as they were running late. Staff confused on pm part of trip

This was the WORST trip we have been on since arriving in Japan. The bus was half an hour late picking us up which made us late all day. They cancelled the boat part of the tour because we were running late and we had no time at places as they were trying to make up time. While the tour guides could speak English it was broken English so they struggled with normal English questions. After lunch when we were told the boat trip was cancelled we were pressured into getting off the bus and catching trains back to our hotel to save time.
This company was so unorganised and definately did not deliver on what was promised.
A lot of the things on this tour you could do by yourself in half the time.

Very tiring day and the weather was dreadful, very wet and very cold. Our guide changed after the morning session and we did feel a bit sorry for our second guide who happened upon a bus of people who were wet, cold and tired.

This company is the worst I have ever had to deal with. Their meeting point directions are totally inaccurate. I tried to get an exact answer from them as to where to go. Absolutely no luck twice including an expensive tour to see Mt. Fuji and the city. The one tour I did get on, the tour guide was rude and uncaring. They park their buses several blocks from the desired place. As an 81-year-old disabled senior citizen I found this almost impossible to enjoy the attractions I wanted to see. Even on that one tour, I was only able to get to half of the places. I will, in the future, avoid this company altogether. Probably what the tour is about is okay - it is just impossible to do what they ask. Same old excuses and responses. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Our records show that you requested a last-minute change to your pickup location, and we accommodated you by offering the closest available pickup at Shinjuku Prince Hotel at 8:55 AM. Our staff waited and searched for you for nearly 20 minutes, but unfortunately, you did not arrive or contact us. As a result, we had no choice but to proceed with the tour without you.
Additionally, the tour guide you described as "rude" was not from our company, and the tour you are referring to was operated by a different agency. Given these circumstances, we have requested the Viator Team to remove this inaccurate review.
We are truly sorry that you missed our Tokyo Bus Tour, but we believe it is unfair to post such a review under our company when the issues raised were not related to our service.

It was a very good comprehensive tour of Toyko with parts that I didn’t realise. It was a very long day, lots of walking. Lunch was reasonable size but I had the vegetarian and didn’t get any dessert. And the time on pick up was wrong so would be worthwhile checking with the company when you arrive

Saw a lot of Tokyo's highlights in this tour. Yoshi Hasegawa was a great guide giving just enough information in the sites. He also took photos of our tour members. The lunch was good but a bit hurried. Overall, a great package. Worth the price.
