Our guide Choco was a terrific guide who knew the area and history very well and explained everything clearly in English, a language she enjoys learning about and using. Communication was excellent. Choco made our day in Asakusa perfect! Thank you Choco!

We had a lovely time exploring Asakusa with Yasu. He was very informative and had some interesting stories to share about the founding of the city. A definite plus was that he had headsets for all of us so we could hear him clearly over the noise and even when he wasn’t near. It is a very busy tourist destination and having Yasu to help navigate and show us the highlights was a huge help. All four of us including our teens really enjoyed the tour and the small group experience.

I had a tour with Amy as my guide and it was a delight! She is so knowledgeable about the history of Tokyo and willing to answer any questions that come to mind. She even directed me on the best shop to buy a Japanese knife and where to have lunch after the tour, which was delicious. In short, she’s a wonderful teacher and this is the perfect tour for anyone interested in the history of Buddhism, Shintoism, and Asakusa.

Most memorable part was the luck reading. Remainder of tour was very informative and cultural. Only negative was there could’ve been more structure to the tour.

Thank you for your candid feedback. The guide might have covered too many details but have stopped short of relating a story we have promised. We will make sure to guide following the promised tour structure.
