Interactive art with some winners. Be ready to get a little wet but that’s not too bad. Make sure you download the tickets properly. Viator sent the wrong start time and challenging access to tickets.
Team Lab Planets was a really unique experience and I’m glad we went. Heads up: when it tells you your tickets will be in your email the day before, if you don’t get a QR code, check the “chat” area from your booking and that’s where we found our QR code which is required for entry.
This was a very unique experience, I wish it had some smells in it. It makes you think about how much your senses play in your life
Important to note that our experience at TeamLabs was absolutely fantastic and highly recommend you go. I recommend that you purchase your tickets directly through the TeamLabs website. Booking through Viator cost us 84% more than purchasing directly. Looks like the commissions paid to its tour providers are worth more than the actual experience. While I understand paying extra for convenience, I can't justify paying such an outrageous commission/service fee. Unfortunately this will be the last time I book with Viator.
Don’t book with Viator. We had booked Team Lab Tokoyo for a selected time and while in tokoyo I got an email that Viator will not honor our time that we originally booked. I tried calling and emailing Viator and I got no response. We were unable to goto Team Lab and my family was very disappointed.
The water portion was really neat, but it was way too crowded at 8:30pm. Overwhelmingly crowded. After the water section, I went to the bathroom where there was a huge pile of toilet slippers in the entry causing me to trip and fall hard to the ground. None of the other bathrooms had toilet slippers, so I was totally unprepared. They need to do better than that. Would not go back.
Extremely crowded, nice art pieces and photo opportunities though had higher expectations (entirely on me). The crowds made the experience very overwhelming and borderline unenjoyable. Even with staff and limited signage it’s difficult to navigate through areas and find exits. Personally, my partner and myself wouldn’t return as I suppose it’s aimed more toward children. If you’re a family and wanna walk through water and mirrors floors with other families, this is your time to shine.
Fun experience - sensory stimulation galore - if you are sensitive to flashing light may be overwhelming but very fun.
Absolutely incredible I would do it 100 times again it was never ending art live experience. We loved it!
Do not purchase tickets. Book directly through the website. We purchased tickets from this tour operator and could not access team labs due to no third party ticket purchases. The tour operator would not refund. This is a scam.
This place is amazing. There are so many cool things to see and do. There are fun interactive areas and some visual spaces that fill your senses. Definitely worth the trip!
Do not use Viator to buy tickets for teamlab planets. They will not accept them from third party. What a mess. We needed rebuy the tickets

You will get wet. Wear pants that you can roll up to your knees or shorts. Don't wear a skirt as many floors have mirrors.
It’s worth visiting. A really fun immersive experience. Perhaps go at night when some of the outdoor exhibits light up.
Viator was great to get the tickets through. The activity was good but there was a lot going on. A lot of kids.
Team Labs Planet was really worth it! Totally entertaining and fun! Wonderful immersion art experience would recommend for any age! I felt like a kid when we were done!!
What an amazing experience! Behind every curtain there was another surprise. My favourite was the garden with gorgeous orchids hanging from the ceiling, loved mirror floors. My daughter was fascinated how her drawing came to life on the walls of the TeamLab. We also ordered the T-shirt with it. Then she loved catching the extinct animals and learn about them. Water part was the favourite, we did it twice:)
Send me a different time rhen confirmed and we needed to stand out in the rain for an hour. Place is unorganized. Sorry.
We got there and they would not let us in and said that they could not find our tickets. very disappointed! They said we should not have used an outside vendor. I did get a text from you guys and said that y’all could not provide our tickets and that you would refund our money. I’d expect a total refund to my account.
We loved Team Labs, however Viator failed miserably with our booking and their side operation Dreamtopia. We had 11.30am booked for MONTHS to suit our airport departure, but their outsourced Dreamtopia changed the time the DAY BEFORE to 1pm, and contacted us through WhatsApp instead of the promised email ticket. Massive fail! I will not recommend Viator to ANYONE and will advise others also.
Very bad. Viator took the money for the team lab planet, but never email the tickets. Viator Ruled the trip I planned for our family.
I booked these tickets for my 9 year old son and I based on a recommendation from a coworker. Out of the 4 days we spent in Tokyo, this was one of his favorite activities we did.
There are 4 sections (water, garden, forests, and open air) where you can walk at your own pace and interact with all the exhibits. Some exhibits allows you control of the lights by downloading the app and following the instructions.
There are lots of lights, a section of water you will walk through, interactive walls, animations, and activities to participate. It was a lot of fun and we spent about 2.5 hours going through the various exhibits. Be sure to bring appropriate clothes for the weather because you may be outside in line a bit prior to entering. Also, your ticket is for a 30 min time slot and you will only be able to enter during that time. They turned people away that were attempting to get in early. Overall, a great time and a memory that kids will have forever. I would recommend it any time, but definitely on a day where it may be raining which is what we did.
There were multiple rooms with amazing walk through and interactive experiences. So fun for kids too. I could have spent more time there but my husband was getting overheated in the last room with the animals you “catch” on a phone app. The picture opportunities were so amazing! Make sure your phone is charged!
It was more than what we expected. We highly recommend visiting. Every room was an amazing experience.
Tickets never sent. Operator was non responsive to me and I was unable to get into Team Labs. I contacted them 5 times while waiting outside freezing. They were not responding to me or support.
